Posing? Who is posing? I look down at myself and only now notice that I am standing like a hero from a book cover or something, looking from a cliff… only the long blond hair are missing.
"Let's talk about that later… can you do me a favor and freeze him completely? Because he is the reason I'm still in here."
She looks at the wiggling entity, then squints her eyes at it before placing her hands on the ice and chants,
"Sum imperatrix aquae, accipe iussum meum et congela rem quam desidero."
(I am the empress of water, take my command and freeze the thing I desire.)
Suddenly the temperature starts to drop even more.
At the same moment fog begins to rise from the water and starts to advance towards the being, while freezing everything along the way it touches.
{She… she is the thing my maker warned me about… she is the creature that will bring the end to everything} I hear the being speak in my mind.
When I look at it, it stops wiggling, probably having accepted its end and stares at me while the ice starts to cover it completely.
So, she is the danger it talked about in the vision, and its maker is trying to be prepared for her, so I will also prepare for him, whoever his maker is…
{Whatever you are, do everyone a favor and leave here h—}
*Slash*
I interrupt it by throwing my machete into its head and say in my mind,
'I know exactly what she is and what she is not… and if I ever meet your maker, she will be his last concern by then, I promise you that. And now rest in peace here.'
The ice reaches its head and my machete, and it becomes frozen solid. This should give the last tsunami enough time to bury it…
After this is finished, I jump down and break my fall with my telekinesis and land next to her on the ice.
Then smile at Cthylla and want to give her a kiss, but she only "Humphs" and looks away.
I laugh at this and start to mess up her wet hair until she stops sulking,
"Stop touching my hair, you red hair-loving pervert!" she says and tries to hit me, but I evade it and then duck down before throwing her above my shoulder, because it's time to get away from here…
"Ahh! What are—"
"Let's have some fun later; it is time to go," I say while she stares at the incoming furniture tsunami that would probably even bury New York under it.
*Crash, Crack, Crash*
I jump towards the entrance that is underwater as the furniture comes dangerously close, while Cthylla stretches her hand towards the water, and it opens up for us.
We arrive at the glass door that opens up instantly, and I look a last time back at the creature that was devoured by the tsunami at that moment and then walk through the door.
---
I walk past the membrane, and we stand again in the middle of the forest, surrounded by the SCP people and the people I catapulted out, or at least a few of them…
*Crash*
Behind us, the door shatters, and some chunks of the Ikea dimension then block the entrance and make the membrane disappear.
Putting down Cthylla, Patrick Lisbon and John stare at me as if I'm an alien or something like that. Then Patrick orders an agent to bring me some clothes, while John walks towards me somewhat angrily.
"Where is Ana?"
Cthylla points at herself, confused, but I shake my head and say, "I sent you all through the same door… so she is probably back in her world, like Rick and the others."
"What?!" He pushes me to the side and walks towards the closed entrance and stares at it for a few moments helplessly.
"We should have never gone to the tower…" he says then quietly to himself, before turning around and walking past us, not looking back or talking to someone.
"What happened?" asks Cthylla, confused, seeing the man leaving.
"He had a woman inside who then went back into her broken world when the dimension inside broke down…"
"That is kinda sad, is there nothing that we can do?" she asks, looking at me worriedly.
"No… at least not for now. But she is tough, so she should be fine…"
The thing is, this job was a mess. I basically caused an apocalypse inside, from which only a few people managed to escape.
Sadly, their escape led them probably into a worse situation than the Ikea dimension…
"Are you worrying about what happened inside?" asks Patrick and gives me a hoodie that he took from a sad-looking agent.
Is it the same one I borrowed the M4 from? Nice of him to give me also his clothes.
"You should shut up! You knew exactly what was waiting for you two in—" I stop Cthylla by placing my hand on her shoulder and say,
"No, I don't worry about it. If the thing would have freed itself some other way, it would be worse, right?"
"Yes…" Patrick says carefully.
"Good, then the job is done, right? Time for the payment." I respond and stretch out my hand.
"I already prepared it. Here is the money with a bit of extra for the trouble… the grenade launchers are waiting at your car in a suitcase, and some water for Patrick to wash your car…"
Says Lisbon a bit guilty while gazing at Cthylla and gives me a black bag probably full of money.
"I'll pass on the car wash right now… but next time we meet, I will make him do it." I say and grab Cthylla's hand to also leave the place.
Before turning around towards the married couple, "Ah, only so we are clear, don't play games with me next time and don't lie to me, or our whatever this is, is over, got it?"
Patrick nods with a strange face, and I say, "Good, till next time." Then we leave them behind.
After arriving at our car, I grabbed the two grenade launchers with a smile and placed them with the money into my too full trunk.
They were pretty useful later on when we visit Ana's world, but that is a story for another time…
First, we finally can drive towards our vacation destination, San Francisco.
~~~A few months later, in a cabin in the woods near Manning, Colorado~~~
A middle-aged man sat at the table, meticulously cleaning his special revolver. Next to him lay a journal containing all his encounters with the supernatural.
This man was Daniel Elkins, the keeper of a weapon capable of killing almost anything in creation, except for five beings.
As a renowned hunter and the mentor of John Winchester, he had faced horrors that would haunt normal people's dreams.
But he could sleep soundly at night, knowing he possessed something that could dispatch nearly any threat.
The Colt had been discovered by his ancestor, lying next to a pile of ash that remained after a bullet had been fired to kill someone or something from this weapon.
Since then, his family had taken up the mantle of hunters, guarding the weapon while hunting evil monsters.
Their primary adversaries were vampires, and while they had made significant strides in wiping them out with the help of their hunter friends, a few always managed to slip away, ensuring the hunt continued.
With a sigh, Daniel carefully placed the Colt in his safe. He decided to take a break and head to the local bar, all while keeping an eye out for any signs of vampire activity.
Leaving his solitary cabin behind, he drove towards town and took his usual seat at the bar. He ordered a drink and picked up the latest newspaper, scanning it for any reports of vampire sightings.
Little did he know that this would be his last night in this world, as some vampires had already set their sights on him.
However, his death would also set in motion a chain of events that would lead the Winchesters to their most powerful weapon yet and a means to finally eliminate the yellow-eyed demon.
And it would also lead to the discovery that there was another being in existence that couldn't be killed by the Colt.
Hello everyone, and welcome to the end of the chapter.
The MC will not be a part of the vampire hunt; the last part of this chapter was only to kickstart the plot again.
Next time, some quality time for our couple, and then it's back to business.
So stay tuned for more.
