Dragon Ball Timeline: Important Events, Movies, and Non-Canon Series
Age 739:
- The Saiyan baby, Kakarot (later known as Goku), is sent to Earth by his father, Bardock, just before the destruction of Planet Vegeta.
Age 749:
- Goku is found and adopted by Grandpa Gohan.
- Goku accidentally transforms into a Great Ape and kills Grandpa Gohan.
Age 756:
- Goku meets Bulma and they set off on a journey to find the seven Dragon Balls.
- Goku meets Master Roshi and trains under him.
- Goku participates in the World Martial Arts Tournament and wins.
Age 761:
- Pilaf Gang gathers the Dragon Balls and accidentally summons Shenron. Goku defeats them and prevents their wish.
- Goku, Bulma, and Krillin face off against Emperor Pilaf, who accidentally wishes for Goku to become a child.
- Goku and his friends face off against the Red Ribbon Army and eventually defeat them, including their leader, Commander Red.
Age 762:
- Goku and Krillin train under Master Roshi and compete in the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament. Goku defeats Krillin in the final match.
- Goku battles Tien Shinhan in the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament and emerges as the winner.
Age 767:
- Goku and his friends participate in the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament, where Goku defeats Piccolo Jr. and wins the tournament.
- Goku marries Chi-Chi and they have a son named Gohan.
Age 770:
- Raditz, Goku's long-lost Saiyan brother, arrives on Earth and kidnaps Gohan. Goku sacrifices himself to defeat Raditz.
- Vegeta and Nappa arrive on Earth to find the Dragon Balls. Goku's friends, including Piccolo, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, and Krillin, fight against them.
- Goku arrives on Namek after training under King Kai. He helps his friends against the villainous Frieza and his henchmen.
- Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan for the first time and defeats Frieza.
Age 774:
