Chapter 26: Making paradise
"OK then, you don't need to use your request for jasmine, she can go with you. I never wanted to chain her down, I just wanted her to spread her wings with the one she is meant to do it with. And she was fated to meet you whether she sat here or traveled the world looking for you. I just wanted her to be safe waiting for you." Queen smiled.
"Now that this is settled what is your request?"
"May I ask you what is going to be punishment for the rest of the family of that shitty tiger?"
"Well if the duke is found committing this level of treason the punishment is the pretty strict, the whole family is meant to be executed."
"Would it be possible to just exile small children, there is no was they contributed to this crime."
"Hmmm by exile you meant them to be sent to your safe haven?"
I nodded.
"I didn't expect you to be so kind to use your request one something like this but that's fine. I have no issue with that. But they can never return and in the eyes of this kingdom they are your slaves."
"That is perfectly fine, Your highness."
"Do you want to form contract with shity cat from that shitty family?" Lola asked
"No, I just wanted the kids that did nothing wrong to live." I answered and caressed the hair of my little wolf.
She returned to her relaxed state, satisfied with the response.
"And what about the maids and other staff Your highness?"
"The ones that knew about it and not reported it will be executed; nothing will happen to rest."
I nodded with smile.
"What about your second request?"
"I also found this in the mansion Your Highness." I removed the chest choke full of jewels and gems from my storage.
"Do you want to keep it? You could have just been silent about it."
"I am not a thief your highness."
Queen smiled
"Finders keepers. Take it and enjoy. You saved my kingdom and are taking my daughter with you. Trust me she is high maintenance girl you will need it."
I put chest back to my storage.
"If your highness is this generous, I have nothing to ask for. So just let me request you to come visit your daughter from time to time."
Queen laughed.
"Like I was not planning to do that anyway, but now I can at least use your request as the reason to shut up nagging people around me. Thanks."
"Now that this is settled, Jasmine go to your room to sleep. In the morning you will pack up your stuff and you can go with them. Victor go to sleep tomorrow will maid come to pick you up so you can unload rest of the stuff you are holding. Then after breakfast you will go home. Ok?"
"Thank you. Your Highness"
Queen and princes rose and left the room. We all went to sleep on one bed. Mom was happy to use opportunity to snuggle up to me while sleeping.
Morning came and maid knocked on our door, I went to unload the stuff related to the spirit stone incident, after that we all had the breakfast and after heartfelt goodbyes, we left the spirit realm and went back home.
As we made our way from the portal to the house. We heard Liz ordering around people that were taking part in reconstruction of our new mansion. When Liz spotted us, she ran like a torpedo towards me and hugged me.
"Please Vic don't disappear like this without a word. I was worried."
Mom and Lola chuckled, Jasmine head a very jealous and surprised look on her face. It took like 2-3 seconds for Liz to register what she is doing.
She released me and turned to blushed mess.
"V-Vic, S-Sorry for that." And she turned and was about to run away.
I grabbed her by the waist and hugged her from behind.
"I am happy to see you too, and don't apologize it was really cute."
Then I released her. She made a few steps away from me then she stopped. Still very blushed but tried to hold some form of conversation anyway, she wanted to run but even more she wanted to know what happened.
"Can we h-have a t-tea and chat a bit?"
I smiled. "Sure, I was just about to ask you."
We moved towards the original mansion. While we moved Liz recovered. Mom whispered to her.
"Don't feel bad, I think everybody here already knew that you are attracted to him, including him."
"But he is just twelve and I am 21." Liz answered. "Don't you think I am cradle-robber."
"Look I am not blind; I can see how good my son looks. He is nice, more mature than some men in their 30s and can take care of you without breaking a sweat. I would call you blind and stupid if you weren't attracted to him."
"Point taken" …. Liz hanged her head as she said that.
"As long as you wait with all the bedroom stuff until he is 15, I don't mind" Mom whispered "And he does not look like he minds either. You must have noticed."
Liz looked like the calmness returned to her and even her color started turning back to normal.
"Thanks"
We slowly reached the room where we usually have tea I sat in the middle of couch, Lola took her place on my lap, Jasmine on my right and what surprised me Liz on my left. In few minutes arrived my sis, Renald and Mom with a maid that was pushing trolley with tea.
We explained what happened. Then I pulled out the chest from storage. I picked out some gems and turned to Liz.
"Liz please could you auction this stuff."
"Ok Vic."
"As for the house I already told what I wanted, if anybody else here wants something specific please let Liz now. Outside of that everything is up to you. You can do it as you like. Just one little thing. My plan was the right wing would belong to sis, that's where the Ronald room would also be. Left is Mom's. Middle belongs to us. On the ground I would love to have the bath I mentioned. Staff can live in one side house, the second side house would for visitors. Is that fine with everybody?"
""" Sure""" Everybody outside of mom answered.
"You are planning to also move me? What are we going to do with this mansion?"
"I thought with we can turn it to our offices, make a bigger training hall, and a lot of space for guests and such. So that they don't poke their noses around our real home if we don't want them to. But if you don't like the idea, we can scratch that. "
"No, no that's perfect" Mom nodded with her head and smiled.
"Two more little things I would to have seating with table out in the garden near the forest so we can all chat and enjoy tee outside, while there is forest filled with spirit beasts around us."
"" Sounds nice.""
"And every member of the staff that is going to work there must sign a mana contract so that they don't harm spirit beasts and keep silent about everything."
"Yes, sounds reasonable, we don't won't our paradise get destroyed." Mom said with a smile.
