Alioth moved in front of Silver as they stepped close to the corpse of the Steelix. Silver asked Alioth, "Mean look still active?"
Alioth nodded slowly and Silver said, "Pull Sableye out using a whip will you?"
A thick strand of darkness erupted from Alioth's shadow and rushed towards the corpse and started pulling at it. And as it pulled Silver could see the ghostly body of Sableye forming around the thread as if getting dragged into the material world due to the strand.
Its body now had a lighter shade of purple than before signifying how much damage the destruction of the corpse had done.
"We need the stone in your chest."- It shrieked and struggled against the strand that held it when it heard Silver's words.
"Take it out, a Sableye never gives up its loot without a fight."- Silver nodded at Steven's words and Alioth immediately created another strand which he grabbed onto the Steelixite before ripping it out from the pokemon's body. Sableye screeched in hatred and Silver couldn't help but ask, "Are we ripping parts of it while it alive?"
"No, it is just hateful because you took its loot. You are not hurting it."
Silver had known that but still wanted to confirm to assuage his conscience.
Alioth handed the mega stone to Steven who grabbed it with a handkerchief before saying, "Use a dark pulse on it, will you?"
Alioth nodded before charging up a dark pulse and taking out the weakened ghost with a hit to the face.
Steven turned around and started walking towards the staircase that had brought them here, even as Silver halted and looked at the corpse of Steelix. He sighed before pushing the button on his watch and saying, "Zilla, come out!"
Pupitar erupted out in a jet of blue plasma from his watch, he looked at the corpse of the Steelix in alarm, turning to him in alarm.
"Bury the corpse, will you?"
Zilla nodded and with a cry of "Pu!!!", he started exerting his influence on the ground using his ground type-energy which led to the corpse sinking into a newly formed marshland beneath it.
Silver looked on as the corpse was lowered into what would be its grave by Pupitar. It took some time before Pupitar finished and Silver recalled him.
"Rest in peace," saying this much, Silver chased after his brother and Metagross who had already started going down the stairs towards Ash and his group.
Their return to the group was shorter than their journey to the stone, Ash and his friends were standing there but there was no Team Rocket.
"So they escaped, huh?" The statement from Steven was said with disappointment.
'You liked the lass that much, huh?'- That was the only thought Silver had as he saw his brother's face that was going through the five stages of grief.
Ash however looked a bit guilty as he said, "Honestly, Champion, I am not sure what the deal with them is. They aren't really evil, I don't know how to say this in a more polite way, but they like to imitate the real Team Rocket and try to catch Pikachu repeatedly. Pikachu likes it so I let it play out."
Pikachu nodded with a 'Chu!'
Silver however sweatdropped at the words--- 'These guys aren't even taking those three seriously and think that those three are acting?'
Silver wanted to facepalm but stopped himself as he heard Steven mutter, "She could at least have said bye," before his brother sighed and looked at him and said, "Silver, we are leaving."

[Rustboro Pokemon Center- Four Months Later.]
Silver walked out of the Pokemon Center followed by other fifteen year olds that were of a similar age to him. All of them had hopeful looks on their faces and even Silver was grinning as he carried a small orange envelope towards his family's car.
'Today is the day that I begin my plans.'-- He had just finished collecting his Alliance Examination result package. He had already checked his score online and was only here to get his Alliance Pokedex and Trainer Card both of which would serve as an ID for himself in the coming days.
The League season was still going on right now and would only end in three months so Silver had plenty of time before he could challenge the Sinnoh Gyms.
'Things are heating up with Team Magma and Aqua too.'-- Silver's HUNT program which made sure to keep track of any individuals of interest through the internet had been ringing with multiple notifications about the two.
There had been plenty of deaths in the past days on the side of the terrorist groups as both the Hoenn League and the Alliance started moving against their interest openly.
Maxie had been seen close to Mt. Chimney recently by some people and that had led to the town of Larvaridge turning into a battlefield. Even Steven had taken to the field against Maxie and the fighting had lasted for only a few minutes before the fight had been interrupted by Team Aqua. According to the reports coming in, the league would have been in trouble had Gym Leader and Ace Trainer Flannery Moore who was Elite Moore's Granddaughter not come in with her own gym trainers to assist the Alliance in breaking through Team Magma's barricade.
The news wasn't all clear on how the conflict had truly concluded but Silver was sure it had been bad due to Steven's annoyed look before he had told his brother about his score on the alliance exam.
Silver smiled before thanking his bodyguard for opening the door of the car as he took a seat within it and opened the orange envelope to take out a red pokedex and a small metal ID card with the Pokemon logo on it.

Silver smiled before opening his watch and saying, "Scan the card please."
A beam erupted from his watch tracing his Trainer ID before a mechanical voice said, "Task completed."
Silver smiled before saying, "Send my AIN to my brother, father, mother and Professor Birch Porygon. Rotom activate the pokedex and Porygon connect to the League and Alliance Regional and Inter-regional Channels through the pokedex, otherwise, block or spoof all sensors. Divert all calls and information from the Pokedex to the watch."
"Tasks Generated. All Queued Tasks completed."
Silver nodded before continuing, "Move all registered pokemon except for Strange, keep him registered to the LANBOS only."
"Tasks Generated. Task Completed." Porygon said in a mechanical voice before continuing and said, "AIN 7QHD6DNBDJ has now three registered pokemon. Pokedex is analyzing the information provided to it by the ultra balls."
"Good job, Rotom and Porygon."
There was a small crackle of electricity before Silver heard, "No problemo, boss!"
Silver chuckled, normally both Pokemon were so busy scraping the internet for useful information or performing complicated calculations for him that they almost never talked to him.
He was surfing the internet on his watch when suddenly Porygon sent out a notification that read "HUNT- Lysander Zuckerberg's Lysandre Labs have officially released a product known as the Holo Caster."
Silver nodded being used to such notifications before saying, "LANBOS- Create a Poketube account for me, will you?"
"Username?" it was Rotom's voice that asked the question.
"Silver_Stone will do?" Silver asked.
"Already taken by someone else boss."
"Stone_Silver?"
"Yeah that works. Task completed."
Silver nodded and Rotom, unusually more chatty than normal, suddenly said, "Boss? Are we leaving home soon? What with you having me and Porygon keep track of so many terrorist organisations? Are we going to play vigilante heroes that help the masses or something boss?"
"We are, Rotom. We still have three months before the new league season begins in Sinnoh so I was thinking we could help out in Hoenn. The bounty will be helpful and it isn't like any trainer is forbidden from helping though it is considered stupid to put your nose in matters above your paygrade. The reputation boost will be good too."
"Is that why you have increased training intensity for Strange and Alioth?"
"Yeah, they are far better when it comes to operating in urban locales in comparison to Zilla and Veldora, their attacks are not subtle. Sow me his stats again will you?"

"Training with Alioth, did well for them both."- Silver had decided that the two pokemon should learn to work together after Strange's evolution and since they did not like each other due to their typing, it would help them at least work together in the future. And it had proven a brilliant decision on Silver's part since Strange had learned miracle eye and could harm and detect Dark types when he used the move while Alioth had improved a lot too.
"Show me Alioth's stats please."

While Rotom's words surprised Silver before he smiled and said, "While I am going to have a talk about safety with all four of them, I am not that surprised as I know that Alioth is the strongest in my whole pokemon team when it comes to defence."
"He is in the Ace category of pokemon. He would be considered Elite but he lacks the firepower to be given an elite," Rotom replied.
"He probably never will have that much firepower but I am pretty sure that Veldora and Zilla will make up for it in firepower while Strange makes up for it in Speed and Manoeuvrability."
"It will be really surprising for Sinnoh League when they come across a Rookie Trainer with Ace and Elite Level Pokemon."
"I have worked for the last six years to make sure they are surprised."

By the way, these are the rankings for Pokemon used by the Alliance with reference to their fire power:
Beginner/Rookie:
This category encompasses baby Pokémon, which are in their first stage of evolution and typically have lower base stats. It also includes weaker Bug-type Pokémon and generally covers the initial stages of evolution for many species.
Advanced:
The Advanced rank includes second evolutions of weaker Pokémon like Rattata and other species that have progressed further in their evolution chain. This rank can also include stronger and more well-rounded Pokémon that aren't quite at the top-tier level yet. These Pokémon are more capable than their earlier forms and have gained some experience in battles.
Ace:
In this rank, you'll find experienced Pokémon that have reached their second evolution, such as the second evolution of regional starter Pokémon and pseudo legendary Pokémon.
Elite:
The Elite rank is reserved for Pokémon that are the cream of the crop. This includes members of the Elite Four and the Champion's team, who serve as the final challenges in the Pokémon League. Additionally, all fully-evolved pseudo legendary Pokémon belong to this rank.
Legend:
The Legend rank is where the truly legendary Pokémon reside. This includes the Champion's ace Pokémon, which are often the most powerful member of their team, as well as various legendaries. All these pokemon are walking natural disasters if enraged.
Myths (Impossible to attain)(Piss them off enough and the world ends):
The highest tier of the ranking system is the Myths category. This includes the creation trio (Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina), Arceus, and other Pokémon that are considered too overpowered to catch like Victini,Kyogre, Groudon, Hooh, Hoopa unbound, etc.

Advance------ Trainers that have at least six months' worth of experience and have finished six beginner-level assignments from the alliance or the local league.
Ace------ Advance Trainers with at least twelve months' worth of experience and have finished six advance-level assignments from the league.
Elite------ Ace or Advance Trainers with at least eight league badges and at least one elite level pokemon.
Champion----- There is only one in very region.
Master-- Only one in the Alliance and its master.
