Chapter 4: Chapter 4 Wax?
Ten seconds later, Buggy and Luffy both landed on the ground simultaneously.
"Luffy, this is the second floor of the impel down, known as Wild Beast Hell," Buggy informed Luffy.
Buggy's knowledge quickly led him to identify the person he needed to find.
"Is this really Wild Beast Hell? I didn't see any beasts around," Luffy asked curiously.
"They'll appear later, but for now, let's save someone first. Having him will increase the chances of saving Ace by 10%," Buggy explained.
As Buggy spoke, he swiftly turned around and flew in another direction. Luffy, feeling the urgency and the increased chances of saving Ace, immediately followed suit.
"Wow! Is there really someone like that? That's incredible! Thank you so much!" Luffy expressed his gratitude.
Buggy, flying ahead, raised his hands in response to Luffy's words and said, "You know, as a good person I am, I cannot turn a blind eye to the death of my friend's brother."
"Wow, Buggy, you're such a good person. I regret beating you when we met before," Luffy said, reminiscing about their past encounter.
Buggy's mouth twitched at the memory, realizing that he had almost forgotten that Luffy had previously beaten him up. He quickly regained his composure.
After flying around a few corners, Buggy arrived first at Mr. 3 Galdino's cell.
Suddenly, Buggy's appearance shocked some prisoners in the cell, while Galdino, sitting with his head down, didn't react or show any interest.
Feeling trapped in the Impel down, Galdino had lost hope and couldn't see any chances of escape. However, everything changed when a strange voice came from outside the cell door.
"Hey, Mr. 3, do you want to come with me? If you haven't completely become useless, I might consider freeing you from this prison," the voice offered.
"What!?" Galdino exclaimed upon hearing the long-lost title, Mr. 3. He then saw a tall figure standing outside the iron door of the cell, wearing the same black and white-striped prison uniform as him.
This sight left Galdino completely astonished. He exclaimed, "Crush" but before he could react, the seastone gate disintegrated into countless pieces of dust, disappearing before his eyes.
Witnessing this incredible scene, the previously screaming prisoners fell into stunned silence.
"How...how is this possible? That was a gate made of seastone! And you're... Buggy the clown!" the shocked prisoners exclaimed.
"Move aside! You're blocking my view!" Buggy scolded the group standing in front of him, his brows furrowing.
"Oh, yes, sorry, Lord Buggy! Let's get out of here!" the prisoners quickly apologized, stepping aside to reveal Mr. 3-Gardino sitting on the bed.
With a swift motion, a white light shot from Buggy's index finger, hitting the seastone handcuffs on Mr. 3's hand. The handcuffs disintegrated into specks of dust.
"I told you, Mr. 3, you can't be entirely useless. If that were the case, I'd be greatly disappointed," Buggy stated calmly, looking at him intently.
Feeling the pressure emanating from Buggy, Mr. 3 swallowed nervously. He couldn't believe that such a seemingly unassuming man from East Blue, with a bounty of only 15 million Belly, possessed such power. He wondered if Buggy had been hiding his strength all these years. If he was so strong why was he in Impel down?
What were Buggy's ambitions? What were his true intentions?
As these thoughts raced through Mr. 3's mind, he made a decision. He stood up slowly, pushed his broken glasses aside, and said, "If a person like you came here specifically to find me, you must have taken notice of my Devil Fruit ability. Well, since you've saved me, I, Galdino, am willing to pledge my loyalty to you."
"Straw Hat! By the way, how did you end up here? Did you get caught too?"
Mr. 3, finishing his impassioned speech, couldn't hold on for long before being startled by Luffy, who had rushed to Buggy's side, causing his eyes and tongue to protrude simultaneously.
"Eh!? Who are you? Do you know me too?" Mr. 3 asked Luffy, looking confused.
Luffy tilted his head, scrutinizing Mr. 3, then turned to Buggy and asked, "Who is this guy?"
Buggy waved his hand dismissively, saying, "It's not important. Let's go. We need to hurry to the third floor, replenish our food, and change our equipment."
Mr. 3, shocked by Luffy's earlier reaction, immediately turned to Buggy and protested, "Hey! What do you mean it's not important? I'm also your new recruit, so pay more attention to me, you bastard!"
As he spoke, Mr. 3 tugged at Luffy's "3" hairstyle and shouted, "Take a good look, Straw Hat Boy! It's me! It's me!"
Luffy, with a dazed expression, clenched his fist and struck it against his left palm. He exclaimed, "It's you, 3!"
"It's Mr. 3-Galdino! Remember it well, you bastard!" Mr. 3 growled at Luffy.
Observing the exchange, Buggy couldn't help but raise his hand to his forehead in exasperation.
"Ding... Congratulations on completing the first plot change. The mission is being resolved... Settlement complete. Congratulations on obtaining the 'Intermediate Conqueror's Haki Experience Book,'" a notification sounded.
Buggy, initially feeling helpless, was pleasantly surprised by the sudden completion of the task and the rewards received.
"I can receive rewards like this? Skipping straight to the intermediate level? Is it because this is the first plot change? Anyway, my cheat is different, but I like it!" Buggy thought, realizing that only he could see the panel system.
After crushing the "Intermediate Conqueror's Haki Experience Book," Buggy waved at Luffy and Mr. 3, urging them, "Let's go! The jailer has discovered us. We need to hurry!"
