Chapter 10: Chapter | X |

The bell rang again. Finally! I exclaimed, sighing with relief, the class felt like torture, so boring. Iruka, instead of exiting the classroom, stood in his place. He appeared... Saddened.

Then, he lifted his head, his expression stoic.

"Tomorrow will be your graduation exam, prepare well"

Dropping the bomb, he walked out. Murmurs and complaints rose, with a handful of grunts. Opening the window to my side, I grabbed my bag and jumped on top of a building's roof nearby. I had no time to waste!

Determined to graduate this year, I sprinted off, jumping from one roof to another. I could hear the yelps of a few girls in my class, but all of it faded away into the background. With agility and dexterity like never before, the true advantage of my vitality began to show, I barely ran out of breath before I reached my apartment.

Even from a very young age, I was always hyperactive, my stamina was abnormal, not even heirs of certain clans in Konoha had stamina as high as mine. Adding on the fast healing properties of my body that closed my wounds faster than anyone... I could even survive without food for weeks, not that it was a good experience. All in all, my vitality was off the roof.

I didn't know the cause, but I had a feeling my life would drastically change when I become aware of it. I was too much of a variant to be a normal orphan child.

Closing the door, I threw my bag on the bed. I could not contain my excitement, I was eager to test out what changes had occurred to my Chakra! Certainly, something had changed, because the Chakra pool was not disoriented or unstable like before, Instead, it was unmoving.

Most importantly, it was not light blue, but instead, it had more depth and was darker in color, the change was evident. It felt more dense and pure. Forming the Ram sign, I molded Chakra and performed the Clone Jutsu.

Swish!

With a small cloud of smoke, I replica of me, almost perfect appeared... Almost.

Alas, it was not perfect, some hair strands were bigger than others, the position of my pupils and the length of my nails were not at the right mark. But I was relieved, the feeling of my Chakra fluctuating whilst performing the Jutsu did not appear, it was something that made me happier than ever.

Then, I focused to make the clone perfect. With my huge Chakra pool, I could go on for hours and hours, that was my advantage to master the Jutsu my night. Then, the grind began. First O focused on the hair strands, it took a considerable time, almost an hour to make it right. Next were the pupils, that proved... Exceedingly difficult. I had to check my eye color carefully several times before getting it right, then the positioning of the pupils even worse.

I had to check every millimeter to make it right, after two hours of that, I was finally done with it. The nails were the easiest and the final part, I got that done in about ten minutes or so. Satisfied with my clone, I crashed into the bed with an audible laugh. I was exhausted and hungry. Eating dinner, the same old instant noodles, I freshened before sleeping.

Waking up even before the alarm rang, I brushed my teeth, changed my clothes to a plain orange jacket with a single black stripe vertically running down either sleeve. I changed my white inner T-shirt to a black one and plain orange pants and black sandals. What do I do, I can't seem to separate from the color.

Washing my face with ice-cold water, I felt refreshed, drying myself with a cloth, I set out to the academy without my bag. It was the graduation day, what use could it be of?

With the same vigor as yesterday, I jumped from one roof to another. In the span of a few minutes, I was at the entrance of the academy. The students gave me the usual stare, but this time filled with... Pity. It was understandable, I was a repeater and failed to graduate several times, the majority of the students knew that.

If they were sympathizing with my failure, they were in for a real treat. Holding my mocking smirk, I walked into my classroom. Almost all eyes fell on me, I could hear mocking and the unfunny jokes. Looking at Sasuke, I saw a smug smile on his face, as if I was on judgment day.

He must be looking for a reason to crush me. His disdainful look was shared by Sakura and Ino beside him. Ignoring them, I sat on a free bench and waited for my turn.

"Aiko!"

An adult's voice rang behind the door attached to the classroom, the said student stood up and entered the room. A minute later, he exited with a gloomy look, his eyes filled with disappointment. Like that, one after another student was called.

Shikamaru's turn came, the lazy boy entered and exited with the same expression, whether he passed or not was a complete mystery. Choji, his friend, entered whilst eating potato chips, and exited the same, his result also a mystery.

What a strange duo. I asked myself. They couldn't be more apart from each other, yet they seem to be friends.

Sasuke's turn came, he came with a stoic face except for the moment he glared at me. Ino entered, and came out with a cheerful smile, same for Sakura.

After everyone's turn ended, they exited the building...

"Naruto Uzumaki!"
