Chapter 6: Nakano Ichika Pt.1
after Kaoru paid for their meal at the cafe, both of them continue their dates and they go to the park or any place that interests them because of that Ichika feels so happy and worry-free since she has someone to talk to.
she could talk to her father but no matter what it will be different when talking with someone far older than her even when she knows that person is her own father so when Kaoru offered his help to her, she take it without a second thought.
and for Kaoru, since she believes in him so he will not betray her trust and will do his best to help her got closers to her sisters.

when they finished their date, Kaoru accompany Ichika back to her apartment also to talk with Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki.
after Ichika said what she needs and wants to her sisters Nino got angry and almost slaps her, for Miku she is only silent but Kaoru knows she was also mad at Ichika just by looking at her apathetic eyes which somehow feels scary for Kaoru, Yotsuba only could laugh sadly since she aware that what she and her sisters did is actually hurting Ichika but because she can't do anything that's why she felt really guilty about it, but the most shocked is Itsuki, she feels like a fool when the way she acts is hurting her sister instead when what she want is just to help them.
the sisters then talked more and try to be honest with each other and Kaoru becomes their sandbag when they want to vent their stresses, Kaoru accepts it wholeheartedly since he made a promise to Ichika earlier.
after that, the relationship between Ichika and her sisters becomes closers even if they will still act like usual since it's hard to change someone's personality and habits.

a few days after that, in the school canteen while having lunch and discussing the lesson together with Fuutarou since they work together it is normal for both Kaoru and Fuutarou to be seen together.
when she found them Ichika immediately approached their table. "Kaoru-kun do you have time this weekend? can you accompany me shopping?" she asked Kaoru with her usual teasing tone and when she look at Fuutarou she remember something and said, "Ah, Fuutarou-kun Yotsuba said she has something that she wants to ask you about the lesson since she doesn't understand so please meet her later okay?".
After Kaoru go back from their house on that day Ichika and her sisters talk about everything especially how Yotsuba likes Fuutarou and Ichika has a feeling for Kaoru since it's impossible to talk about that kind of topic when Kaoru is present that's why they wait for Kaoru disappear before talking about it, and as the eldest Ichika will help her sister because she knows that Fuutarou is a good guy and she doesn't mind if he dates Yotsuba.
since he knows that the sisters are an idiot when it comes to studying he doesn't think about Ichika's trick and he answers it. "ok, fine!" Fuutarou gives a simple reply since he is focused on eating even when he gets money he still acts frugally.
when they almost finished Kaoru got a bad feeling that trouble will come and not long after that he received a message on his phone from Ichijou Raku, his friend from his former school
[Kaoru, emergency please help me, I can't ask Shu but if it is you even if I don't want to say it you could know it with your capability, so please help me]
just with this message alone, Kaoru understands that the main story of Nisekoi will start actually he just didn't want to be the enemy of the protagonist but after he becomes the guild master he needs to change his way and actively become the friend of the protagonist as long as they are not stupid or arrogant sons of heaven like in xianxia or wuxia, so right now he feels the need to help Raku at least he needs to listen to him.
after Kaoru gave his answers Raku immediately sent him another message

"Fufufu just waits Kaoru-kun, big-sis will give you a surprise" If Nino or Miku knows what Ichika want to do they would stop it no matter what will happen, but Ichika will never waste her chance since she also knows that her little sisters Nino and Miku also has a feeling toward Kaoru even if they didn't aware of it.
