but with two home matches against unfancied sides coming up next the chance was with them to steady the ship with 2 wins and regain there form . Liverpool best game was still the performance against Arsenal.
In mid-week, Liverpool lost to Northampton Town in the League Cup at Anfield. Liverpool was spared the embarrassment of a third consecutive defeat thanks to a header from Gerrard following Suarez second assist of the afternoon. and a late goal from lewandowski who run on to the cross of Alba before defender could close him down and flixed the ball with his health to score a stunning goal and wining Liverpool the match.
Liverpool fans , players and coaches all sigh of relief as the 2 game winless run ended.
A few days later, Liverpool claimed a 3 :0 win away from home against Utrecht in the Europa League Goal scorers were Lewandowski, Milner and Antonio Griezmann As Liverpool win there second Europa league match.
In this match Liverpool team were showing signs of recovery and Asad could see the future klopp style from the way they played. It was good to see Liverpool once again play well.
Asad was wondering before did he made a mistake because public opinion was also getting in his head but After watching this match he calmed himself down and thought carefully that these players will perform better and better in future plus klopp is there so you don't need to worry at longest it would take one season to Liverpool fully jelled and ready. And they would shock the world next season.
Asad also laughed at himself for believing in the novels he read in previous life that you sign good coach and players and your team suddenly will become best in the world, But reality is completely different ( Some time Asad thought did he became Liverpool Toad ( Chelsea current owner in 2023) Sign players at high price and performance is zero). But He knows the player he signed were gonna be great in future because Chelsea owner didn't have that advantage.
and it's September ended with Liverpool team in 9 position in premier league.
