"When I said can my day get any worse, it was a rhetorical question, not a challenge" Casper muttered under his breath sprinting fast through the woods.
" We are missing him", The Garnet soldiers roared as they chased the maniac. Coming to the edge of the cliff Casper didn't even think twice before jumping into the ocean.
The soldiers halted at the edge of the cliff when one of them sneered, "It's good that he got himself dead, now we don't have to waste our precious knife slashing through his filthy flesh".
All that Casper could see was blue which turned darker and darker and completely black.
"I'm starving damn it" Aiden kicked an empty can in the dark pathway.
The golden star on his tie shone bright in the dim moonlight. Clutching his stomach he crouched.
"you could go home commander, I could deal with the chief", Marc said as he stood worried.
"I'm fine, You should go to your team"
Aiden said as he stood up.
" But sir- "

"Yes sir" Marc left as Aiden let out a huge sigh.
Just when was about to walk away he heard the trash bin fall and roll in the road. He strolled closer to chase away the cat or mouse which did it but instead, he saw a figure hiding in the dark.
He took out a poisoned pin arming himself but within he could make a move the figure smacked him down pressing his face deep into the ground.
Aiden struggled with the tight grip. "You scumbag, I won't do any harm if you leave me" Aiden spoke, his throat being choked.
"you want me to believe that from the mouth of a Garnet soldier?" The guy back with a grumpy voice.
"So, you from the Tuber Rose?", Aiden questioned.
"what if I am"
"I am from Tuber Rose too" Aiden let out as the guy immediately tore the uniform near his biceps where he caught a glimpse of the same red mark.
