The guy's grip relaxed a bit and instantly Aiden shoved him to the ground hovering over him, the poisoned pin dangerously close to his neck.
"See I am a Garnet soldier but I'm from the Tuber Rose too I can't just kill someone from my own group but you have to go away from here. It's so dangerous if someone else caught you, you wouldn't even be breathing by now. Now run for life "
Aiden uttered as his chest rose up and down.

the guy breathed as he was still looking down.
"Do you want me to help you perhaps till the port? I can help you get there without anyone witnessing " Aiden smiled offering help to an unknown stranger.
"no, I have nowhere to go " the guy spoke low.
Just then Aiden noticed the guy clearly. He was a teenager, a way too skinny his bones were barely covered with skin, his cheek hollowed, his hair long and tangled, and his eyes which held no emotion.
"I - I-could offer you a meal if you wanna come with me..." Aiden let out as he got up.
The guy didn't tell anything but stood there numb.
Aiden heard multiple footsteps as he instantly kicked the guy's leg and sat on his back as he whispered "Don't make a noise ".
"commander !" two of the soldiers saluted Aiden as he nodded.
"Marc informed the chief about your health and you are asked to depart and take a rest ... assistant commander Werner will take your place for now, " one of them said as Aiden let out a huge sigh.
"that guy seriously? , fine you can leave I'll also take my leave then" Aiden told massaging his temples.
"Yes sir!" the two soldiers headed back.
Aiden waited till the footsteps were barely heard as he got up he felt guilty for sitting on the kid's back when he was already looking so dead.
"come with me " Aiden casually said walking to the left. the guy slowly came after him. Aiden was curious to know about this guy but his health didn't help his curiosity, for now, he just wants to have a good meal.
After reaching his home which was not too big or not too small, he announced loud, "Mom, I'm home "
Aiden removed his boots and coat placing them in the right places.
"Welcome home-oh do we have a visitor," Aiden's mom who was a pretty old lady grinned through her wrinkled face.
The guy was taught to respect as he immediately bowed as low as he can.
" he is from our land Mom, he was looking so dead so I offered him to have a meal with us " Aiden said as he undid a few buttons of his shirt.
"I don't mind, I won't leave anyone starving after visiting our home, so may I have this gentleman over our dining ?" she spoke ever so softly that none of the people in this world could deny her offer.
The guy bowed again, he was about to follow Aiden to the dining when his mom prevented him "No eating food when you're not tidy, I can see that you are starving sweetheart but I would like you to have a bath first and then accompany us "
he nodded again as Mrs Smith led him to the bathroom.
"Thank you for the food," Aiden said as he started eating.
The guy was now clean, he wore one of Aidens old shirts which was long enough to reach his knees and a brown pants which seemed too loose for him.
He ate quietly and slowly. He didn't eat as if he ate after so long, he ate as if it was a dinner during a family gathering.
He ate a little as he gave out another bow thanking Mrs Smith for the meal that she had made.
"you could stay here tonight let's think about what to do with you tomorrow " Aiden said as his mom agreed with him.
The moon was lovely but lonely though it had all the beautiful stars. Aiden was staring at the sky through the window as the guy just sat there quietly.
" you don't have to stare that longer at me, you could waste your time on the moon instead " Aiden let out, his eyes still not away from the sky.
"so are you really not gonna open that pretty mouth of yours? " Aiden asked as he received silence as a reply.
He looked at the guy who was still staring at him. The guy climbed down the bed going near Aiden and he held his hand out which had a few wrinkled notes.
"Is this money a compensation?" Aiden asked with a smug smile.
the guy nodded as Aiden gently moved his hands away.
" I didn't do this for money nor I expected something from you, I just wanted to help my people which is very rare in this place because literally, everyone here are Garnets. "
