Chapter 10: chapter 9 train
September 1st 1991 king's cross station
while walking towards platform 9 and 3/4 Ana said to Marvin "i will not be in England for around a year so you have to stay at hogwarts on Christmas break"
after 3 minutes of walking they gradually saw children walk into wall
after walking onto platform 9 and 3/4 Ana said "goodbye see you in a year"
after that he got onto hogwarts express
Marvin decided to get along with Harry after all he needs many things from the story and many of these items are hard to get without engaging with plot
than looked for Harry
after looking for few minutes Marvin found his object of interest and walked in
seeing Harry and acting surprised asked
"can i sit here?"
Harry looking little uncomfortable awnsered "yes no problem"
Marvin put away his luggage and sat quietly with alchemy book in his hand
5 minutes later train began moving
Marvin is quite introverted and so decided to wait for Ron to start a conversation
and after couple minutes Ron entered and asked "do you mind if i sit here? everywhere else is full" Ron looked at Harry and Marvin
"no, no at all" Harry awnsered and looked at Marvin
Marvin looked up from book and said "no problem"
Ron sat beside Harry and introduced himself "by the way im Ron, Ron Weasley"
"Harry, Harry Potter"
Ron looked surprised but Marvin didn't show any surprise turned page in the book and introduced himself "I'm Marvin, Marvin Firebird"
after that Ron asked about scar and Harry bought a lot of candy as Marvin was talking about candy with them, Ron wanted to show them his magic "I got spell from Fred, do you want to see it?"
"yes" Harry awnsered excitedly
Marvin was more skeptical "yes"
Ron pulled out his wand and he was about to start a girl walked in and said "have you seen a toad boy named Neville lost one, oh you are about to do magic, let's see then" she said and sat beside Marvin
Ron resumed his attempt at spell casting "sunshine daisies butter mellow turn this stupid rat to yellow" after wired incantation apart from small flash of light nothing happened
girl showed a look of arrogance and said "are you sure that's a real spell?. well it's not very good is it o course i only tried a few simple ones myself but they've worked for me"
after that she continued to show off fixing Harry's glasses introduced herself than got surprised at his scar
after some conversation told them that train should arrive shortly and they better change into their school robes than walked off
after 15 minutes train gradually stopped
