Chapter 27: Chapter 27: "Saving" Karin
Sato places great importance on the upcoming Chūnin exam. How much attention do you pay to it?
As someone familiar with the plot, Sato sees Konoha as both a safe haven and the largest cage in the ninja world. Being born in Konoha has provided Sato with security, but it has also limited their growth.
The Third Hokage's Crystal Telescope Technique and the presence of Shimura Danzō lurking in the shadows constantly suppress Sato's "appetite" and challenge his acting skills. During his time at the ninja school, Sato eagerly awaited graduation, the Chūnin exam, and the demise of the Third Hokage. Sato believes that once the old man is gone and the hidden root is eradicated, Konoha will become the greatest place in the ninja world, and Sato will be free from constraints.
Of course, the Chūnin exam holds significance beyond just the third round. It carries great importance for Sato. The second round is also crucial, prompting Sato to personally intervene and avoid encounters with Hinata and Shino.
After parting ways with the team, Sato unleashes their powerful perception. Soon, chakra fluctuations from the entire Forest of Death appear in Sato's mind like a projection. These fluctuations vary in size, representing the amount of chakra. Among them, Sato immediately recognizes the massive chakra fluctuations of Naruto and Gaara, both Jinchūriki. Another chakra fluctuation, slightly inferior to Naruto and Gaara but still substantial, is likely Orochimaru.
Continuing the search, Sato quickly identifies a chakra wave slightly smaller than Orochimaru's. This chakra fluctuation surpasses that of Yuhi Kurenai and even exceeds Sato's own chakra prior to devouring Zabuza and Haku. This is the target Sato is searching for, known as Karin.
As a surviving member of the Uzumaki clan, Karin possesses exceptional talent, ranking among the top within the clan. In addition to various sealing techniques, the Uzumaki clan's greatest strength lies in the inherited immortal body(big chakra pool) from Ōtsutsuki Ashura and three unique abilities: Kagura Mind Eye, Physical Healing, and Adamantine Sealing Chains. These three abilities are rare even within the Uzumaki clan, but Karin has fully mastered them at the age of sixteen or seventeen. If given the Uzumaki clan's sealing technique, Karin will undoubtedly become one of the most outstanding new-generation ninjas.
Karin has played a vital role in saving the corrupted Sasuke from danger multiple times. Sasuke relies on Karin not only for her appearance but also for the classic "hero saving the beauty" dynamic. Understanding love, Sato greatly admires Karin.
That admiration is why Sato chose to sever ties with Sasuke and instead of consuming Karin to obtain a Uzumaki's body. Although the Uzumaki clan has dwindled in numbers, Sato knows there are other means to acquire the body of a celestial being. Rather than devouring Karin, Sato desires her loyalty.
Upon discovering Karin's chakra wave, Sato swiftly moves toward her location. Meanwhile, Orochimaru, who had been sneaking around, also begins to act. The situation becomes desperate for Team 7, who just graduated a few months ago, as they are now facing one of the legendary Sannin
Fortunately, Orochimaru has no intention of killing Team 7. Instead, he aims to implant the cursed seal on Sasuke's neck using his own soul fragment. Despite being weakened by constant reincarnations and distributing soul fragments to Sasuke and Anko, Orochimaru remains the most formidable entity in the ninja world.
While team 7 is engaged in the battle against a Kage-level powerhouse, Karin, now a Genin in Kusagakure, finds herself in a losing situation with her comrades. At twelve years old, Karin has recently awakened the ability to heal her own body, but she is still relatively weak. Her unique Uzumaki body, which could have been a tremendous asset, has been drained of chakra due to her role as a mobile power bank in Kusagakure.
Sato is frustrated by the violent behavior exhibited by Kusagakure and realizes its lack of structure as a small ninja village. Once Sato locates Karin, they do not immediately reveal themselves but instead send a Shadow Clone to deal with her two companions. Sato then sets out to find a large beast and employs illusion to control it, directing it to attack Karin.
A roar echoes through the air as a tiger appears before Karin, causing her face to pale with fear. Paralyzed by terror, Karin collapses to the ground, unable to escape. In a desperate plea for help, she utters a trembling cry, careful not to attract too much attention for fear of provoking the tiger further.
Fortunately, her faint cry reaches someone's ears. Countless voices pierce through the sky, resonating in her ears. Suddenly, an onslaught of ice shurikens falls from above, engulfing the tiger in front of Karin. Without even a chance to let out a scream, the tiger is immobilized and falls silently to the ground.
As the dust settles, a tall figure emerges in front of Karin, seemingly materializing out of thin air. Bathed in the afternoon sun streaming through the gaps in the leaves, Karin looks up and beholds a "hero" radiating golden light. With beautiful silver hair, a gentle smile, and a handsome appearance, the figure stands before her.
