Chapter 73: CHAPTER 73 - ON THE OTHER SIDES

"GASP!" Linda had just managed to escape the thick burly plume of smoke and ashes. The barrier around her face disintegrated as she gasped for some fresh air. But as she knelt down exasperated she looked to her left and right only to realize she was the only one to make it through. 

'Where is everyone? It was supposed to be a straight path?' Linda thought inwardly as she tried to peer into the smoke. 

Until a hand made of smoke seemed to reach out ominously towards her. Linda looked up in surprise as she crawled backwards gripping her staff tightly while it emitted a slight glow. 

"GASP!" From the thick low lying cloud of smoke Riger escaped next his hand first piercing the veil of smoke. 

Linda realizing it was him changed from her frightened pose and grabbed his hand to guide him out of the smoke.
