Chapter 18: Delivering a message and leaving for mars
At Present...
When people saw Mystical Punisher hovering on a magical circle everyone in the entire nation waited eagerly as what he was going to say since there is anger in his eyes.
Mystical Punisher waited for 2 minutes looking at the screen and sighed. He took looked down and lifted the heads of Luthor and Mirror Master.
The league was most paralyzed on seeing the heads of Luthor because the head is sliced and MP is written on both sides of the head.
Many people who watched this vomited on spot. "He is the culprit for bringing me back." announced Vishal.
The people could not understand what he was talking about. "He hired Dead Shot and used some of the metallic cyborgs to act as hostages to lure me out.
Mirror Master played significant role and is in cahoots with Luthor. As for Dead Shot he left the country after I threatened him.
You might be thinking why. It's simple because he is a father who is trying to save his own daughter from a disease." said Vishal.
When Vishal went to capture Zoe, he could see that the girl is ill. That is why he did not take that route of capturing her. She has been afflicted with a rare heart disease.
Vishal used his magic and cured the disease up to some extent because he wanted Dead Shot himself to take care of his daughter.
"Now" said MP as his both eyes glowed. He used Technomancy to acquire the experiments from Luthor's computer and details of the crimes from Metropolis Police department.
After 5 minutes he transmitted all the data all over the country for the people to see.
"I know you're seeing me as if I committed a big crime but check your phones, websites to see the files and videos. You'll understand it." said Vishal.
The League got the location of MP and are going there.
"I won't give speeches to enrage you. I thought after seeing Gotham, maybe you guys will take initiative to fight crime but it is foolish of me to expect that." said MP and cut the feed.
He teleported away before cleaning all the blood traces and only leaving their bodies.
The league appeaared after 2 minutes and saw two bodies and cyborg's parts. Batman activated detective vision and saw a pen drive lying on the ground.
They searched the caverns. Batman used the grappling hook to up where there is a computer.
Others assembled around him and saw what was in it. There was only one video file.
They played it and saw MP talking to Justice League. "There are 5 cyborgs roaming the city and based on information collected the martian beside you is not Jonn Jonz.
He is a white martian survivor controlled by Luthor. I could not find Jonn after my search. Now it is your responsibility to find real Jonn.
The league members saw the green figure fleeing after turning white and Superman chased him. One more thing. The Mirror Master had all your weakeness and contingecies copied and gaave it to Luthor.
I've destroyed all the data. Take this as a favor." said Vishal and the video stopped.
The league were surprised as they did not expect Mirror Master to have find their weaknesses from Batman's computer.
"I don't understand. Why did he help us if he hates us?" asked Flash.
"Maybe he never did want to return to the stage." said Wonder Woman.
"No, based on the words he said he seemed disappointed with the people. He wanted the people to fight the corrupt system and crime themselves." said Batman.
"So, he wants the things to change huh?" asked Hal.
"Yes. I can understand his sentiment but I can never agree with his methods." said Batman.
Superman appeared with the captured White Martian. They gained information from him that Martian Manhunter in a state of suspended animation by the white martian near the volcano in St Vincent in Indonesia.
The alien was captured when a powerful thunderbolt spell which Vishal left behind activated after Martian told the true location, killing the white martian.
"What happened?" asked Batman.
"A powerful spell activated upon the martian's words." said Diana.
"He is as powerful as Dr Fate to use such spells which can only be activated on certain conditions." said Wonder Woman.
Superman flew towards the volcano which is abou to erupt and used X-ray vision and saw a coffin on the top of the volcano.
Superman appeared and opened the coffin and used his vision to check if it is really Jonn. After it is confirmed, he took off when the volcano exploded.
"The most dangerous thing is his ability to predict our actions. If the white martian had been interrogated else where then the spell would not have activated." said Batman.
They all made their way to the league tower as Superman informed them that he was bringing Jonn to tower.
Vishal returned home after changing clothes and his doppelganger disappeared from the house as he sneaked in through the window.
"I am tired. Let's leave for mars tomorrow evening after I talk to my father to take a break for few months." said Vishal to the system.
System said "Alright."
He slept in his room in the mansion and woke up late next day. He woke up took bath and sat at the breakfast table.
"I need to talk to you about something." said Vishal.
Ravindra asked "What is it?"
"I will be taking a vacation of 3 months. I feel depressed and stressed." said Vishal in a tired voice.
Ravindra who was reading the newspaper looked at the tired eyes of his son and said "You definitely need it. You've been working non stop for the company and took very less holidays."
"When are you leaving and where to?" asked Ravindra.
Vishal smiled and said "I'll be going to Switzerland. I need a calm environment. I'll be leaving this evening as I have booked the tickets an hour ago."
Ravindra nodded and said "You surprise me every time. I just want you to let me do things for you sometimes."
"Next time, I'll give you the opportunity." said Vishal with a wide smile.
They did not talk much afterwards. Vishal got used to his father who has become doting over the years.
He could see that his father has become more lively and happy over time.
But there is one thing left for him to do. He needs to hunt down Mad Hatter but this is not the time.
He will wait for the right opportunity to arrive for hunting down some of the irredeemable rogues of Arkham after 3 months.
In the evening his father accompanied him to the airport where Vishal entered the bathroom after waving back to his father and teleported to the satellite.
He hacked the league's tower cameras and saw Jonn already up after treatment. He felt relieved.
"Let's teleport to mars." said Vishal as he appeared above the red planet.
He dropped down slowly and stood on te planet. He saw the ruins of martian civilization.
"Bad luck for the peaceful race to get wiped out." said Vishal as he sat on the ground and began his training to improve his mental powers.
Since Martians telepathy is somehow related to their own planet, Vishal decided to train here.
