Chapter 61: The war of Vengeance (6)- Spectre disappears and defeating the gods
"Vigilante aka Vishal Amarnath." uttered Spectre.
Vishal was not even surprised that Spectre knows his name. Even if he knows his name it doesn't matter because he was just God's vengenace taken form. His Nephalem powers are far dangerous than Spectre. Based on the comics he already knew Spectre is no match against Michael or Lucifer.
Michael humbled him quite harshly in one of the comics. If he uses his combined angelic and demonic energies at extreme level he also can humble spectre.
"Release them." ordered Spectre.
"Like hell I will. They've crossed a line." said Vishal.
"It's not your right to punish them. You don't have the authority to do that." warned Spectre.
Vishal put his hand on forehead and rubbed it. He is tired of hearing such words not only from heroes but also from the gods themselves. The main cause is that he saw authority misused as easily as they want in case of both humans and gods. Yet when someone rebels against misusing the powers, they talk about authority.
He understood another reason Supreme being asked him to help him save the DC universe. If things keep going this way not only will the humanity destroy itself but there can be a chance of war between gods, war between heaven and hell, even "Liark" might be born much faster than before.
Vishal stood determined and asked "Then who is going to punish them for their misuse of authority and the same goes for the angels in heaven and demons in hell?"
"You need not know that, cheeky brat." replied Spectre.
This is one more dialogue that he has heard too many times by now. He felt like this a debate in the news channel where two factions sit against each other. One faction says their way is right and other faction says their way is right but none of them bring the right solution to the table. Everything that is left after the debate is one big mess. Nothing more.
"Fuck off, Spectre." replied Vishal releasing the powers of Nephalem.
Spectre did not show any expression and came at Vishal to fight. Vishal created another doppleganger and gave the Vajra to that doppleganger and went against Spectre to fight him.
As soon as they were about to punch each other, Vishal used his necromancy to create a revenant from dust using Nether and put it in front of Spectre.
As Spectre could not see the soul, Vishal used banishment causing Spectre to disappear. "God's vengeance, my ass." scoffed Vishal. Vishal did the same thing Nekron did with Spectre. The Revenant disappeared after that.
"That seemed Anti climatic host." said the system.
"I don't care. I will fight him in the future if he comes for me but it is unforgivable to interrupt me during the battle." replied Vishal.
All the gods gathered together to the one side and Vishal along with his dopplegangers on other side. The gods were battered and were feeling tired and exhasted out of divine energy. It has been thousands of years since they had believers so their powers have dwindled over time.
"We should combine our powers." said Apollo.
Though Zeus was reluctant due to his ego as a god, he saw that there is no other way to defeat a being in front of them. They started pouring the godly energy inside their bodies into a large ball of energy.
"This looks like a spirit bomb like in dragon ball z." said Vishal in low voice.
"The power will be much higher host. They are godly energies not spiritual energies of humans and creatures." said the system.
The energies formed a gigantic ball of energy and the power radiating looked like it could destroy universe itself.
"They never learn their lesson. As soon as this attack is done I will kill them swiftly. I know that they will be resurrected back in Olympus but the trauma will be enough to show that they are not supposed to cross the line. After this is done, I will kill Hippolyta and resurrect her but make sure that she will remember the trauma and fear." Vishal said to the system.
"Go host." said the system.
The gods screamed and sent the divine ball of energy towards Vishal which hit him. The ball enveloped Vishal and his figure disappeared causing a big explosion to happen.
The gods smiled and felt happy defeating such a powerful foe.
"Now our secret will remain a secret as we can wipe out the memories of humans." said Zeus.
"Really?" came a voice.
The gods bodies freezed. It is Vishal's mentality to give the offenders a false hope and shatter it afterwards.
"I knew you were a dirty scumbag Zeus, but this is another level shit." came a voice.
When the gods looked up a gigantic face with mask appeared in spectral form.
"Impossible." shouted Ares.
"Nooo." shouted Zeus making way towards the spectral Vishal.
Vishal sent demonic blade from his eye and cut the head of Zeus from the body.
Other gods and godesses screamed in agony seeing the king of gods die like that.
The spectral energy turned into a form of gigantic great sword and slashed causing the heads of the gods to roll and their bodies disappear from the void.
Vishal turned back to human form and used Cosmic awareness and saw the gods back in Olympus but saw that a red mark appeared on the back of their heads indicating the trauma they will suffer for the rest of their lives.
He teleported and appeared in the palace of Hippolyta. He saw the Amazonians guarding queen's door. He used a powerful illusion spell causing them to enter illusion and entered the door and found Hippolyta and Circe.
He paralyzed Circe using paralysis spell and using his Vajra he stabbed Hippolyta in the throat killing her.

System voice came in his head. Using teleportation powers he sent Circe to lords of order to be judged.
Using Magic and Aether, he resurrected Hippolyta and red skull mark appeared on the back of Hippolyta's head indicating the trauma. It is the mark he put on the gods using his energies and weapons when he killed them. Whenever they encounter him in the future they will fear him and refrain from doing the things they have done 2 1/2 years ago.
With this Vishal finished his vengeance. With cosmic awareness he saw Jonn meeting the higher ups in all countries and convincing them to not go against the gods as earth will face consequences since the island and gods will be unaffected. He told them justice will be served as Queen Hippolyta will be sent to imprisonement in League's special cell.
Only after he made amends that the world has calmed down but the resentment in those who had suffered still persisted. Vishal took the chance and did a projection all over the world with his helmet repaired.
"All the residents of earth who have suffered, look at this." said Vishal.
He projected the image of him killing Hippolyta and Ares. "I killed them to avenge your loved ones. Since they are immortal, they are resurrected but the trauma I have given them won't disappear." said Vigilante and disappeared.
Seeing the images above the sky, made those who have suffered losing loved ones to the god's cowardly act feel at peace and also cry at the same time. Vishal felt the inner peace inside the people using the cosmic awareness power. About 80% of the population all over the world cheered to Vigilante for bringing justice for what happened.
The remaining 20% claimed that it was fake but Vigilante made sure to share the videos through anonymous account thus proving that he really avenged the humanity as a whole.
It took 3 days to battle Amazonians and the gods alike and on the fourth day he projected the truth and uploaded the video on 5th day.
The governments all over the world were furious at Vigilante because people had more faith and trust in him than them. They had to turn the attention away from idolizing the vigilante so they created random sensational news about governments taking down terrorists and gangs alike.
They were able to succeed minimally but most of the people were only interested in what Vigilante has done for them because when neither government nor league could do anything Vigilante appeared and saved them from villains and now he is the one who exposed the truth and brought justice to their loved ones.
As for the person himself, he returned to his house and slept. Even though he doesn't need to sleep or eat, he liked to do those things.

"It is time to collect the bounty and make way to earth for my next haul." said Lobo as he sat on his bike and began his travel to collect bounty and make way to earth afterwards.
