I land next to Sialeeds and say.
"How do you know I am there?"
Sialeed gives me a smug smile and says.
"I can feel your presence there, Gerrald. You might be able to fool others, but you cannot fool me."
"Fair enough. Anyway, what do you want to do from now on?"
"We should return and make sure Frey is okay."
"Don't worry. Chiyome is already tailing that man. He is in safe hands."
Sialeeds releases a relieved sigh and says.
"Thank you, Gerrald."
"Don't worry about it. I already think of Frey as a member of my family."
She smiles and says.
"Then let's go back."
"No. I still have things to do, Sialeeds."
"What do you mean?"
I look at her for a few seconds and decide to come clean about the Sun Rune. It is her family's treasure, after all. I take a deep breath and let the run visible. I can see her eyes notice the tattoo on my forehead and say.
"Y-You are the bearer of Sun Rune."
I nod and say.
"Yes. I don't know how it happened, but one day, the rune appeared on my forehead while I was on my way to sell some goods."
She looked at me for a few seconds before suddenly starting laughing.
"This is great!"
"Eh? Are you not angry?"
"Angry? No! I am delighted. That run is the reason why my family is in this mess, to begin with."
She wipes the tears out of her eyes. She then looks at me with a frown on her face.
"However, are you okay? That is the reason why my sister started to think of herself as a Goddess and perfect being in the world."
I give her an assured smile and say,
"Don't worry. The Sun Rune makes your sister go megalomania because she is not the perfect vessel for the Sun Rune. I, on the other hand, am the perfect vessel and the Sun Rune is content."
"I see. That is a lot to take in. Is the Sun Rune for your next action?"
"Yes. It wants to take back its other halves."
She looked at me for a few seconds before saying,
"The Twilight and Dawn Rune, huh?"
I nod and say.
"That's right. Don't worry. I will not take the Dawn Rune before the war is over because that rune is the symbol of our faction. However, there is no way I will let Godwin use the Twilight rune once again."
"Once again? Wait! That light!"
"Yes. That is the Twilight Rune. However, before it can destroy the vanguard, Sun Rune takes action and cancels the spell. If not for the Sun Rune… It is bad."
Sialeeds stays silent for a few seconds, thinking of the consequences of the spell if it hits.
"After canceling the spell, Sun Rune wants me to take away the rune from the woman because the rune is forced into her rather than the rune choosing its own vessel."
"I see, and you want to take it away, huh?"
"Yeah. Are you angry with me for taking them away?"
"Hmmm? No. I am happy, in fact. As I said, all three runes are causing trouble in this country, and I want them gone. I am happy for you to take them away. At least I know that they are in the hands of someone good."
"I promise you that I will not use them for something detestable."
"That is good to know. Anyway, go ahead and do what you need to do. I will be waiting with the others."
I nod and start to jump from rooftop to rooftop.
'Chiyome, where is he?'
I decided to ask Chiyome about Dolph's location.
'He is running away, Lord Master. He is carrying the target. Do you want me to stop him?"
'No. I'm almost there.'

Dolph continues to run while still holding Alenia in his hand.
"How is the situation? Have you managed to convince her?"
Alenia cannot help but ask Dolph with a bitter voice. Alenia is jealous of Sialeeds as she is the only person that Gizel Godwin loves in his life. All of her life, Alenia has done her best to impress Gizel, but he never once sees her as anything other than a tool. The only person he sees as someone equal and with affection is Sialeeds, and that makes her angry.
Dolph shakes his head and says.
"No. She did not even think twice before denying me."
"Good. She did not deserve Lord Gizel's affection."
"Watch–"
Before he can finish his word, his body gets kicked by someone. Alenia and Dolph fall to the ground and look at their attacker. Chiyome and Gerrald fall to the ground and look at the two of them.
"Chiyome, take care of him. I will take care of the woman."
"Yes, Lord Master."
Alenia grits her teeth and roars.
"Don't underestimate me!"
If she is at her best, she might be able to fight Gerrald, but after getting defeated by Frey and his companion, her body is full of injuries, and her power is at an all-time low. She cannot even react when Gerrald appears in front of her and slams her head to the ground.
He let the Sun Rune do its work and watched as the Twilight Rune shone in power. Alenia laughs maniacally and says.
"Hahahahaha! The Rune willingly defended me! It chose me! Die! You bastard!"
However, instead of attacking Gerrald, the rune floats toward Gerrald and stays on his left hand. Alenia looks at the rune in shock and fear.
"No… No! No! This is not happening."
Alenia screams in denial, and Gerrald decides to end her. However, instead of killing her, he takes out his company phone and clicks the sell button. Alenia widens her eyes when she sees her body start to glow, and she feels a pulling feeling from inside her body.
"No! What have you done to me?!"
After a few seconds, her body falls to the ground as if a string on the puppet gets cut off.
Dolph wiped the blood from his cheek and clicked his tongue. He thought that this would be easy, but it is so far from the truth. Not only do they get defeated on the battlefield, they also get defeated here.
He takes out four smoke bombs and throws them to the ground. With the smoke covering him, he starts to run to the emergency exit he already prepared before the start of the battle. As he runs away, thinking that he managed to get away on his own strength.
"Lord Master, why do you let him get away? I can kill him."
"Because we still need him, Chiyome. Don't worry. He will die. Have you done the job?"
"Yes, Lord Master. Here is your stamp."
I smile a little, take the stamp, and look at my phone.
