Chapter 3: Beginning of Shadow Crimson.
"Hmm, Issei-kun is going to get really popular now."
While entering the school, Akeno laughed at Issei, who was looking around and feeling the jealous stares that were being directed toward him, although he did not mind them at all.
"Yeah, I can feel that too, but Akeno-san, is this something you are doing on purpose, right?"
He looked bitterly at Akeno, who only smiled in return for his words, and did not continue on this topic.
'Although there were fallen kind behind him, if he is in danger, I might need to talk it out with president about all this.'
Akeno appeared to be smiling, but she was actually hiding the words about the Issei case that were confusing her at the time.
'Can an A1-type rod deflect a magic condensed spear or not?' Even though he was unable to conceal the frown that was written all over his face, Akeno noticed it as she pulled his arm and hugged him.
Issei was also thinking about other things in his head.
"Don't think too much about things that are hard to find, and continue to look forward to the future. If that is what you will do, any girl will be attracted to you, okay?"
Maybe it was because she felt that Issei was troubled about the sudden ill feeling he had and overthought the meeting being the reason he was being targeted like that.
Akeno was trying to cheer up Issei.
'Heh! Who is he? I don't remember having someone like him from our school before.' Due to the influence of one person, Issei became the focus of everyone's attention, and whispers and silent words began to reverberate along the roadside and in front of the school.
"That's Issei for sure, from the previous pervert trio?"
"Was he not well-known?"
"But what the hell is with his looks right now?"
"He really looked normal to me."
The two members of the pervert trio also happened to be the people who were being envious of their friends, and as they all began to realize that it was Issei after all, people looked genuinely shocked by all of the words.
"Fuck! Did Issei get the blessing of Loki the seducer or what? Why is he having his arm linked with one of the campus belles?"
The girls next to the two began to move away from them after hearing their hysterical cries. They turned to look at Issei and wondered why he had once belonged to a gang of this nature.
"Get the ballista ready; today we will subject one of our betrayers to the class."
Motohama spoke while his glass was glinting. Issei, who calmly put them down with the use of simple words later in the class, completely ignored him despite the fact that all of it had been ignored.
"Issei, what the hell with that touchy feeling with Akeno-senpai? Are you trying to break the brotherhood code between all three of us?"
Issei finally entered the classroom and took a seat in front of Motohama and Matsuda when Motohama approached him.
"Hmm, about that brother, can you tell me the reason we joined this school?" Issei did not become enraged as he calmly observed the group of idiots because he had many ideas for how to deal with them. The most intriguing of these ideas was to make them work for him like lackeys.
"Of course, it is to have a girlfriend after entering high school life." Even though Matsuda thought his brother was making a good point for them, he spoke in a low voice and gave Issei a strange expression as he did so.
"Then tell me how many girlfriends we have, not to say how many girls have approached any of us with that kind of intention."
Issei's question was like a kick that caused both of them to let all of their steam out of them because they were aware of how these questions would focus on their areas of vulnerability.
"See, these looks of yours are all I need to know, but it is something I was too before I had a certain idea about why we were deserted like that." Issei smiled and pretended to be in god mode as he glared at the two moron characters before moving on.
"Just like how we love girls with big assets, they also need something to like about us, and all three of us are like buggies that can be found in a pigsty."
"So, that was the reason I decided to change and approached our senpai, and hence, today I just got a chance to date her, as long as I had good looks and personality."
He asked them seriously while maintaining a smile that was more of a sneer. He first looked at Motohama with a grieved expression before turning to look at Matsudo.
"Now tell me, are you happy to be a loner till the end of high school, or are you going to follow me and have a dip in the honey of high school life?"
Given that they would only have two options as a result of that conclusion, he turned away from the duo's startled expression and sighed in relief.
Both options would have been acceptable to him: either they would choose to become his lackey and change in the future to suit him, or they would choose to ignore him.
When the buzzing sound stopped and the teacher entered the classroom, Issei began to look out the window and consider various issues that his AI was currently resolving in order to finish the second combat program analysis.
[It is a droning technology.] [But I want to instill the heat sensor thermography tech line inside it, where the heat lane is getting busted due to friction.]
"Heat lane, then how about we change the circuit's operations and divide them into serial number plates? Along with this measurement, I do not think it will cause much of a problem in production, but the usage of it might be a little hectic."
[Will that be fine with the user, though...]
"I am the one who is using this, and I do not want to mass produce this for someone else too, so we will figure out about the previous model at a later date, but right now, we should focus on quick production for my personal usage at the moment."
Given that he had been under attack since this morning, Issei rushed the creation of this model and intended to use it by this evening, if at all possible.
He did this because he was confident that his attackers would not give up on him so easily and that they would eventually find the right opportunity to deal with him.

"It will be fine, as long as they all take the bait to attack me." Issei smiled.
Issei walked out of the school with a serious expression on his face as he closed his eyes to open the introduction pamphlet within his retina and look at the user manual of the two droning bots. The class had ended before he knew it due to the lengthy discussion.
'This is fine, along with track, anti-sensor ability, and exploding bullet technology. I am sure that I will give the group of people a good feast of bullets for the morning treat.'
Without giving it much thought, two drones the size of smartphones flew inside his sleeves and switched to invisible mode.
'All the preparation has been made.'
'We will start the operation.'
'All the items have been launched.'
It was a red evening when the sun was setting, and a reddish hue filled the entire area, making it appear as though the sky had been painted blood red.
Issei did not have a smile on his face because he knew that this world is a place where strong people take advantage of weak people without showing any mercy, but taking someone's life was not an ideal scenario that one could hope for in this world.
But he was forced to make a choice today, and it was not for himself; he had to do it for the good of his family.
"Being born in this world with a sacred gear is like a sin itself, and since I am the biggest sin out there, I will wash them away with the lives of those who saw me as their enemies."
