Chapter 4: Chapter 004 - Nature's Symphony
"As I suspected, this book is not normal. It is still glowing. And the glow is not getting darker but rather becoming more brighter. Like it is want to show me something. And now I can turn 10 pages of the book too?"
It's been a day, they were talking about his book. Finn got somehow attached to the mysteries of this book.
Finn hesitated a bit. Who knows what was written in it? But he couldn't control his curiosity either. He gulp some air and turn the first page in the name of knowledge.
" Air whispers, Water cry,
If you want to listen, give a try.
Metal can shout, Fire sneeze,
Healthy weather, gives a breeze.
Earth can talk, Woods converse,
If you hear that, you are pass.
Water Metal and also the Air,
With Earth Wood and the Fire,
Even they can stupifies, when Nature starts her cries.
And I observe them here, As long as I see, as near as I notice.
With a heart full of peace."
"Wow! a bunch of crap but I like it. No Actually it is kind of good too. But whoever wrote this, he must be very romantic. My ancestor was in romanticism, huh?"
"Grasp it! You can also hear and see for yourself."
The whole rhyme took 3 pages and on 4th page only this line was written. It is a different handwriting than the one in the rhyme.
" So this has some meaning to it. Water can sing. I can understand that. We can even hear the sound of every rain droplets."
"Where wood is burning there is some sneezing sound, maybe that's what the book is talking about. But metal… Oh! When we hit a metal plate, it gave a sound. So then about air…. Yeah! The sound of blowing wind."
"Then wood sound maybe the sound of moving leaves or breaking of a branch. What is earth sound? Mud ball? Rock? Oh! Right! Two rock can sound if with hit them together."
"Yeah! I am a fuc*ing genius! I knew it. But what is the meaning of nature can sing? What the hell When I think I almost grasp it, It just passed over my head?"
Finn calmed down and then started to rethink… What is the book trying to say. He tried to read other pages but they are completely blank.
It may not appear until Finn grasped the concept. Finn brainstormed whole day but didn't understand a single thing. Later when he almost pulled his all hairs out, Galliyan came and proposed to go to an opera which helds every 3 days. In Rain village this is the only thing that every people of the village can gather and enjoy together.
Those two also gathered there to watch the opera. They arrived here 2 weeks ago. So they surveyed the whole village in this time. Finn and Galliyan took two chairs and took a sit.
" Hey! Hey! Brother! Finn?"
" What is it?"
"Did you notice that tonight the previous bands are all seated among crowd?"
" Yeah! Right! Is it a knew Group today? But I know that they are the all bands in rain village."
"Hey kid! Don't you know? That today we invited the River's Cry Group of capital city?"
A baldy was seated beside them, he spoke
" Oh! Thank You"
"Brother, see, they are bigger than our all 5 bands togather. And they have Harps, Flutes Drums too."
" Yeah, Let's watch quietly, otherwise others will smack us…."
The opera started after a while. Finn was still thinking about the nature's song part. But the song of opera calmed his mind in a moment.
Finn just emptily gazed at them while listening the shockingly soothing song. In the end of the opera he realized why the other bands stepped down from the stage and took seat among them.
After all, in front of the River's Cry Group those are all some little insects, no matter how much skilled they are. At that moment Finn's eyes become large.
"Incredible!"
"Yeah Right! Bro?"
"Right….."
Finn said that with a smirk on his face with surprised mind.
" Let's Go"
Finn came back at home. And opened the book. Yup as he thought. He grasped the knowledge.
Nature has everything. Fire, water metal, earth, wood and air. So when nature starts her symphony all little guys like fire, air, water, metal, earth and wood will stay still only being amazed.
That's mean if he can hear everyone of them individually then he can also hear the nature. And naturally in front of nature's mixed sounds, all individual sounds are nothing.
Then if he can hear nature's symphony along with those individuals sounds too, then he can observe anything even without his eyes. As far as he could gaze and as near as he could notice, he can do all that without blinking his eyes, only with his ears.
And at that moment the 5th page showed some words.
" Touch the book with your mind."
He tries to feel the book's presence, as he do when he summoned the book. Now days he doesn't even speak 'Appear' to summon the book. He just try to feel it.
A sudden surge of energy entered in his mind, and his ears started to grow. His ears are just look like an Elf's ear now. A strange phenomena indeed. But now he can hear in a microscopic level to a telescopic level.
"Bro Bro"
Suddenly Galliyan entered the room and stood there with a surprised face.
"What the!?"
" Oh! You came? Aren't I looking more handsome?"
" You should with your slacker like face! Anyway what is your book anyway? You never said anything about it in our village or to me anyway."
"Oh! This book? I don't know either. It is a family inheritance and before me no one was abled to connect with it. Maybe they never tried. I want to know more about it too."
" By the way why you look more pale? And your blue hair is also becoming more and more golden. Even your eyes are losing it's previous black glow and becoming more and more red"
