Carmine: What the fuck is going on?!
"What is going on is that I am dealing with a traitor of Humanity"
Shocked murmuring filled the room as they began whispering with one another. Some acted as if they suspected all along while others expressed disbelief.
Edward: What the fuck are you talking about?!
"You wanted to eliminate all the meta humans. Who do you think would defend the rest of humanity from the threat of foreign invasion!? It certainly wouldn't be a coward piece of shit like you. If you want to say something about weapons can you guarantee that they will work? No, you can't I wouldn't even be surprised if you betrayed humanity to save yourself"
Edward: Who are you to judge me?!
"I am someone who has risked my very soul to defend humanity and I am certain that you can't claim the same"
I turn to the crowd and let them have a good look at me to truly recognize who I am.
"I am not complaining about people seeking advantages it's part of human nature. Even in my original universes highborn would do similar things but what we won't tolerate are traitors to mankind. Traitors like Edward Buckman seeking to cripple humanity and make it easier for his masters to conquer earth and enslave the rest of us. Therefore I will be taking his position as the new white king are there any objections?"
Edward tried to say something but I quickly backhanded him dislocating his jaw. Looking through the minds of the majority I could feel their approval some with reluctance but only one or two disagreeing. There are probably a few who shielded their minds in some way but with the majority on my side my enthronement was assured. Some even began applauding my declaration which trigger a the rest of them follow along.
Carmine although resentful that all his efforts ass kissing Edward Buckman went to waste didn't object. It was clear that although I currently held the white king seat I lacked the support that Buckman had. Fortunately for the most part I didn't need it as I held Emma by her waist and she conveyed her approval through our shared telepathic link.
'Can you manage to sway the hold outs or do they need to be eliminated?'
Emma: 'I'll need time to assess but I'm sure that I can handle it if not well I'm sure you can take a "hands on approach"'
'Good I now need to deal with Buckman'
Emma: 'Why don't you just kill him I know you're not so compassionate that you would just let him live you're the type murder someone infront of preschoolers and not care'
'Because he still has his uses and I am get everything out of him then he can die'

How could she leave in the middle of the night and not even tell me? All she left was a note about not feeling comfortable in the mansion anymore. How is that possible when we practically spent our entire lives here. This has always been home this is clearly Julian's fault we were all just fine until he showed up.
Luckily the professor agrees that we need to get Jean back home. Although he seemed somewhat skittish when I first told him of Jean's departure but I am certain that it's because he is worried for her. Once we bring her home and the professor has his one on one talks with her she will be back to her old self again.

Baxter building Reed Richard POV:
I want to focus on my research but my curiosity is killing me. Ever since Julian Black came by I looked into what he mentioned. Unfortunately he was right I could have solved those issues myself if I had been willing but as he said I thought it beneath me. Looking into the history of Black technology it seemed that they designed various prosthetics and I don't mean one or two but nearly enough creat a fully functioning human being. Not just limbs but even internal organs such as livers and lungs. Granted these are new products that weren't developed initially when he came by but it hasn't been long since Black Technology existed.
Now I am trying to figure out what his next goal is going forward. I talked to Susan but she said that they never discussed it. I could ask what he planned to do next directly but that would involve me bowing my head which I wasn't ready to do. I know that it was petty but I couldn't help myself he just seemed to get under my skin. Sure I was at fault but acted as if he could see right through me and irked me to no end. For now I would just figure out what he was planning and why he was hopping around the world.
