Chapter 17: Chapter 17
As Akino is making his way down to the middle floors he casually cuts and slices any creatures his way without collecting the stones. His goal is just the middle floors today and isn't actively going after monsters. Just the ones that are in his way. After travelling for another hour or so since he isn't in a rush. He finally made it to the middle floors. He had encountered some bad bats along the way which are annoying but luckily he has put paper in his ears to dampen the noise when facing them. He takes them out when there is none around.
He entered the 13th floor and was still walking. He made it towards the 14tg without much issue until suddenly he found a wyvern blocking his way. He knew he would encounter one since they can spawn from the 13-24th floor. so it makes sense. He rushed to the wyvern not giving it any time to react. He slashed at its eyes and then cut its tail off. The creature shrieked in pain before its head was cut off quickly. He thought that the fight wasn't that hard.
Before he could collect the stone, he quickly dodged the fireball headed his way. He had no time to rest before he had to dodge even more fireballs. Just when he evaded the last fireball, he had to block a sword strike towards his head. He barely dodged it and was finally able to see his assailants. There were 5 hellhounds and 10 Almiraj. He cursed under his breath and ready his sword. He used Lightning slash to try to cut down the numbers. Only 1 hellhound and 2 Almiraj were killed. Two Almiraj flanked him while the others surrounded him. He sheathed his sword and pulled out two trench knives for easier close range fighting.
He dodged the one on his right and slashed the throat of the Almiraj on his left. He kicked the one on the right and launched it towards the wall where it turned into ash. "6 more Almiraj and 4 hellhounds" he said quietly. The hellhounds launched more fireballs to distract him which worked slightly since he got sliced on his shoulder and waist. He gritted his teeth and slashed behind him cutting the throat of the Almiraj that was about to ambush him. He dodged the fireball slightly too late and was singed a little on his other shoulder. He threw two daggers and killed two more Almiraj. Only 3 left and he can deal with the hellhounds. He ran towards the nearest one and grabbed its throat, he stabbed it and threw it toward the other 2 Almiraj and knocked all three down.
He sensed the fireball closing in and smirked. He dodges the fireball but unfortunately for the three Almiraj, they didn't and they were roasted alive. Akino didn't waste any time to rush towards the nearest hellhound and sliced it along the side of its body leaving a nasty cut. It bleeds to death in seconds. The other 3 hellhounds rushed towards him to bite him. He managed to stop two of them but the third one bit his leg. Akino once again gritted his teeth and used the shadows around him which he discovered he could do a few days ago and pierced through the two hellhounds he was holding back. Once free his slammed his knife into the third hellhound's head and successfully killed all three of them. He immediately healed himself and drank a mind potion to return some mind to him.
"I see why the middle floors are so dangerous to newbies now". Akino just chuckled to himself and went on to kill some more monsters. He got ambushed once or twice and had to heal himself but otherwise it was a fine day for grinding. He returned to the surface to cash in his stones and drops and made 340,755 valis. They would have blamed him for stealing if it wasn't for his state of dress. He made his way home to see his updated status since he was injured a lot during this dive. His stats look like this.

A major jumped from his last update. He was shocked beyond believe and knew that this was too fast but couldn't do anything about it. Not that he's gonna complain about it but it's just too fast. What he doesn't know is that this is average for moon elves since he doesn't know much about this In Particularly subject. He was excited for the future and what it holds.
