Hey There! HalcyonKotatsu Here! Newbie author. Just wanna say that this book is but one book of the series im calling Akashic Chronicles. This has been one of my dreams to fully realize the world that I have always envisioned. Anyways this is the current roadmap.
Akashic Chronicles: Paradise Lost (Currently in Writing) Story line Done and constantly being refined. This is the original. Had this on my head since elementary. Story and characters changed a lot since then. Now better than ever.
Akashic Chronicles: Le Mort (Title Only) Fucking Ready. This is the book that takes place in the main universe so this one had a lot of love and care put into it.
Akashic Chronicles: Paulina (Title only/Short Story) Finished, still under refinement.
Akashic Chronicles: Chains of Faith (Title Only) One of the earliest prototypes, had it in my head for years.
Akashic Chronicles: The Devil's Advocate (Title Only)The story is still under process but I have a rough idea. This is one of the more lighthearted ones.
Akashic Chronicles: Frayed Justice The last but definetly not the least cared for. This one had a lot of changes to it. It's practically a different book from what it was originally.
(The final book with all of them) Secret hehe I need to keep you in the dark at least. Besides this one is miles away from where I currently am.
So lets get into the nitty gritty. This is one of them books that are slow, and by that I mean I will take my time in establishing the world. Not through filler bullshit or boring exposition, nah miss me with that shit. I mean by natural and steady world building. Carefully crafted to suit both the theme and a believable world that the characters inhabit.
The characters well for spoilers sake I'll just say it's my personal favorite. I really like writing the characters from the dialogue, to the interactions, to the minute details and their respective flaws and quirks. I could literally just write an entire chapter of characters just talking.
Now lets get into the one thing that holds everything together the themes and narrative. All I can say is its more than meets the eye. I value subtlety, the minute details are spread far and inbetween lines of dialogue and scenery descriptions spread across arcs. So when I say It's going to get dark... I don't mean just violence and gore and some other edgy shit nahhh. That's just surface level stuff. By dark I mean quite depressing. It's not like It would be just that though, I would sprinkle in some lighthearted stuff in between.
So if you're ever worried that I won't know how I'm going to go with the story. Relax cause I have it all mapped out. This was a project years in the making. Hundreds of storylines constantly being refined and rewritten as you read this. It was hard to gain the motivation to write this. I'm constantly putting this off because life keeps getting in the way.
This is a passion project that's been sitting with me for far too long. Its high time I do something about it. Something I earnestly want to see through till the end. I hope you can join me in this very long and arduous journey. Most importantly I hope you enjoy it.
