Chapter 22: First Meeting
"Again, no useful information…" Yin Song closed the book in front of him and massaged his forehead.
Ever since he finished attending the banquet that Wang Ergou had prepared for him, Yin Song busied himself reading the notebooks related to the War God Body but was unable to find a solution to Yin Xuehua's problem.
"Father! Father!"
Suddenly the door of Yin Song's reading room opened, and a little girl entered the room with an excited face.
"Miss, the Crown Prince is busy and doesn't want to be disturbed…" one of the warriors guarding Yin Song had tried to stop Xuehua but to no avail.
"I'm bored! I miss you Father!" Xuehua looked at the swordsman in annoyance.
Yin Song motioned for the swordsman to back off, he then walked over to Xuehua with a warm smile, "Xuexue, what are you looking for Father for?"
"I want to be carried! You haven't seen me in a long time!" Xuehua put on a sullen face.
Yin Song chuckled before holding his beloved daughter, indeed despite her condition, Xuehua was a cheerful and spoiled girl. Not to mention that Xuehua was quite emotional and had tantrums easily, actually it didn't matter if she was an ordinary girl but Xuehua's tantrums were dangerous considering the huge power stored in her body.
Once, Xuehua smashed all the furniture in a room and tore down the walls because she was forced to drink bitter medicine.
"Where's Mother? Why aren't you with her?" asked Yin Song.
The smile that had graced her lips from being carried instantly disappeared from Xuehua's face, she just lowered her head without saying a word.
Yin Song held his breath for a moment, "It seems that Mu Rong still can't forget what happened at that time." Yin Song thought as he slowly shook his head.
A few months ago, Mu Rong scolded Xuehua because she made a serious mistake. Xuehua didn't like being scolded so she reflexively slapped Mu Rong on the leg out of annoyance. Unexpectedly, this punch was enough to make Mu Rong's leg bones crack.
Mu Rong screamed and cried loudly and rolled on the floor in pain. Mu Rong's reaction made Xuehua panic and gripped Mu Rong's hand tightly, unfortunately the little girl gripped too tightly causing Mu Rong's fingers to break.
After that incident Mu Rong didn't dare come near Xuehua for over a week while Xuehua locked herself in her room, crying non-stop because she felt guilty.
Mu Rong finally reunited with Xuehua but the relationship between mother and daughter was never the same. Mu Rong always kept a distance and was a little cold towards Xuehua, besides that sometimes Mu Rong looked at Xuehua with fear.
Yin Song couldn't blame Mu Rong's attitude because it definitely wasn't easy facing Xuehua after everything she'd been through.
"Crown Prince, Swordsman Fang has arrived at Sword King Villa, he wishes to see you." One of the maids came to Yin Song's reading room, indeed Yin Song asked to be notified when Fang An came to visit.
Yin Song then went to see Fang An while holding Xuehua.
"Crown Prince, Sorry for only being able to come today…"
Fang An had been waiting in the living room with Xiao Chen, when he saw Yin Song's arrival, he immediately stood up and saluted. Xiao Chen also showed his respect to Yin Song.
"Brother Fang doesn't need to be shy, I understand it…" Yin Song chuckled before asking Fang An to sit down.
During the trip to the Valley of the Hundred Swords Yin Song's party received several attacks, Fang An was always near Yin Song's carriage and kept Yin Song and his family safe.
Yin Song invites Fang An to stay with him but Fang An asks permission to go home to meet his disciple first because he has not seen him for several months. If it wasn't because the Bamboo Sword Villa was too small to accommodate Yin Song and his party then Yin Song would have wanted to stay in the Bamboo Sword Villa.
"Is this the disciple that Brother Fang told you about?" Yin Song's gaze fell on Xiao Chen, Yin Xuehua also felt attracted to Xiao Chen.
Fang An then introduced Xiao Chen to Yin Song and Yin Xuehua. You could clearly see the shock on Yin Song's face when he found out that Xiao Chen was only older than Xuehua by only a year, even though his physique looked like that of a 10 year old child.
"Brother Fang is so talented, it's no wonder you also have such a special student." Yin Song chuckled, he could see the light in Xiao Chen's eyes showing his intelligence.
Fang An glanced at Xiao Chen wanting to know his disciple's reaction after meeting Xuehua, but in fact Xiao Chen had an expressionless face.
Yin Xuehua asked to be let down from Yin Song's arms, she then walked up to Xiao Chen curiously.
"Want to play with me?" asked Xuehua.
"Of course." Xiao Chen nodded slowly.
Yin Song and Fang An looked to be reacting, both of them knew Xuehua's condition and it could harm Xiao Chen.
"Nice to meet Princess…" Xiao Chen stretched out his hand.
Yin Song and Fang An panicked but before they could do anything, Yin Xuehua had already grabbed Xiao Chen's hand. Yin Song and Fang An were surprised when nothing happened to Xiao Chen while Yin Xuehua looked so happy.
"This is the first time a child my age doesn't scream when they shake hands with me!" Xuehua became so enthusiastic.
Xiao Chen smiled but actually he was enduring pain, he was sure that Xuehua didn't exert any effort when shaking his hand but if it wasn't for Xiao Chen having the Wind Wolf Bone and great physical strength his hand would have been crushed.
"Princess, Shall we play outside? There is a flower garden nearby…" Xiao Chen asked.
Yin Xuehua nodded vigorously then pulled Xiao Chen's hand to leave the room without saying goodbye to Yin Song or Fang An.
Yin Song and Fang An were both stunned by the situation. The two of them had their own thoughts after knowing that Xiao Chen could survive Yin Xuehua's strength.
"Brother Fang, I didn't expect you to have such a special disciple…" Yin Song still couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Fang An couldn't help but smile awkwardly because all he knew was that Xiao Chen indeed had much better bone quality than before Fang An went to the Capital but bone quality and physical strength were two different things. Fang An believed that all the resources he provided before leaving those few months were not enough to allow Xiao Chen to possess that much physical strength.
