Chapter 42: Ch. 38: The Eclipse…
From behind the shielding wall which Alvis formed, they started taking position in a triangular shape. They started to circulate their cultivational qi slowly in that shape. Slowly Rajik stopped outflowing his qi and instead started to accept the flow of qi. Eventually they formed like a matrix where both Kyra and Alvis will supply their qi to Rajik which he will accumulate in the middle and form a three times more powerful attack than their own powers all together.
Meanwhile Amon and Alex broke through the wall. The wall wasn't transparent so Amon and Alex were completely unaware of their move. As soon as the wall dropped, Rajik walked out from the middle of the matrix and directly thrust the accumulated powerful ball of qi towards Amon in-order to kill him once at the movement.
Alex noticed this and in an instance he came in front of Amon to block the attack. He took the blow head-on and even before a word he died. Only his dead body fell on the ground, like a small stone making many ripples in water, it made everyone to freeze in shock.
Due to using too much power, Rajik felt a little dizzy. Alvis lifted his hand to catch him in his embrace.
Witnessing his most trusted, dearest and nearest friend…whom he not just considered as Family but also announcement his lineage to be considered as Royals; Amon lost all his senses. He lifted his Trishul. His hands were shaking in anger and the veins on his forehead bulged up. Bloody eyes set a target to kill the person who attacked Alex.
The Trishul unboundedly charged piercing air towards Rajik who attacked and killed Alex.
"Ahh…"
Before anyone can react, his Trishul went through Alvis chest. Behind Alvis Kyra and Rajik were still in shock. He fall on his knees. Rajik instantly came forward to aid him. Alvis lifted himself to shook of the hands transferring qi inorder to save him.
"Why…Why you!?" without any restriction, his tears started to flow.
Alvis smiled "Finally…you noticed me…My…Fool."

"I…tried my best to stop the pressure on you as you were the middle and also tried my best to share it with you…,but…the blow of Amon was too strong and…I didn't have much power left…."

"I…wanted to…tell you earlier about my feelings…But…I got Fiance, I…kept you on waiting…for too long!"
Rajik started to shake his head. Grabbing one hand of Alvis, he said "You…you can't die…you…"
"I…promise…to return back soon, please take care of this…Heavens…and…Adi…"
The hand fall from his grip and Alvis left him with a responsibility of the two most important things of his in this entire world. 'The Great Heavens' for whose Glory…he didn't even considered his own sister's happiness. And…'His Sister' towards whom, he always meant good…even if that action of his…,ended up her in extreme pain.

Rajik cried out rivers on his body…"Majesty…this Heaven's will be waiting for your return."
"Fiance…..!?" Rajik lowering his eyes to ground, murmured. He gave a look to Kyra, who is still in shock of such an extreme change of events.

"How hypocrite…he deserve this…." Amon turned towards cold doors to continue for what he was here in first place.
Reed '…'
Amon "…"
Reed pulling his stiff cold legs come out of cold cave. His long hairs became completely white and Messy. Just in few days he seems to have grown old. All the blood of joy and playfulness seems to have varied away. His walking pose, sharpen eyes and depthless gaze stabbed Amon's heart right away. 'He...he lost his emotions?'. only a thought like this is enough to storm up Amon's emotions and destroy his all hopes.
Reed noticed Amon's worried and scared face, he noticed his surging emotions and was aware of the rising storm Inside Amon's heart. Ignoring all this right away, his pale lifeless lips moved to ask knife sharp question "You…killed my brother…".
Suddenly a gust of wind blew, freezing Amon, his heart, his sense…everything for a movement. "I…Let me explain…". He suddenly found himself lost of all reasons.
"So…you did…" Reed stopped in front of him.
"He…killed…Alex!". What Amon argued is true but not the complete truth. Alex's death indeed made him anxious to take revenge but this wasn't the only reason for him.
"So you killed him?" Reed raising his voice asked.
"This…is not the entire story." Amon moved his hands to hold Reed's hands and calm him down.
"I don't want to hear your arguments…" Reed shouted loudly withdrawing his hands.
Amon again moved his shaken off hands as the last hope to reach his warmth "Reed…here me out…"
"What's…there to hear? You betrayed Adina back then, killing her Father…you betrayed Reed today and killed his brother…." Reed slammed and shook off both the hands of Amon and started to blame him.
Amon noticed the unstable state of Reed. Over the top of it he almost reached the half, considering that…his heart must have formed a slim layer of coldness…making his emotions go weak.
At such a crucial movement, if his emotions surge up again…the slim layer of coldness, won't be able to hold back the storm and might end up breaking…just like the partial frozen water…which could be broken into pieces easily.
Taking all these things in-account, Amon moving his disappointed hands pulled Reed forcing him into his embrace.
At first Reed pushed him hard and Amon went back a few steps…but Amon again did the same move to force embrace Reed and calm his state down.
(As a human we all have felt or seen or heard this that at the time of any heated up arguments, the best move is to not argue for your right but to let it slide and hug to ease the situation a bit.)
Reed noticed this, calling out his weapon 'Nature'; he without any hesitation stabbed it directly into Amon's chest...For a movement Amon felt that his world was crashing down, his mind lost all thoughts and his heart stopped beating.
Closing his eyes he accepted his fate. Finally in the peace of this darkness he understood the purpose of his curse. Having a mild smile on his lips he closed up the bit distant between sun and moon.
This move made the sword freely enter deep and deed into his pumping heart.
letting go of his hands, he finally completely embraced Reed with ease of mind. Getting near to Reed's ears he said "I am glad…atleast…this time…it's not you…who died in my hands…I…too mistreated you back then…If he deserved death, I too…I am…happy…if it's you killing me. Don't blame yourself…as this is our fate, Our curse…I am happy that now…finally…We got freedom from this curse…I…"
Saying this both the hands that tightly embraced Reed's back up until now, lost all life and soul to even move. Something in Reed cracked. Feeling a mix of many things, he roughly pulled out that sword from Amon's heart.
As soon as the sword got pulled out, Amon's body lost all control and fell backward…directly falling into the deep valleys of Cold mountains without any hesitation or boundary.
Due to sudden crack in his heart, his cultivation on cold qi got disturbed and he started to bleed internally. Glancing at the falling dead body of Amon, Reed looked up at open sky. He saw the sun blacking out, The Eclipse happening…the moon covered the sun making his light disappear from earth for a while.
He again looked down the mountains, now…not even a falling dead body can be traced…his emotions of sadness, love, hate and pity…all mixed up. He let himself fall on ground. He slowly murmured { If today, the Sun set for the Last time…,
Then the Moon won't be rising for the Next time… }
He slowly let his eyes close up in peace. He felt someone coming and trying to heal him…screaming and telling him to wake up, hang-on, begging to not die. But he lost all strength and wish to ever open his eyes…only a thought, a thought spinning his mind…
"Let's let go all the past and present with this,
Let's just die if…we would be separated like this …"
"…In the future If…ever we meet again...,
I will promise my eternal, never to be separated again ...
Ever again... ... ... .
