Chapter 22: Chapter 22: Work
Woke up from the alarm I set. Went to the kitchen, and heat the water to make a coffee. Take an egg and bread from the fridge, put the egg in the pan, and put the bread in the bread toaster.
After waiting, the water is already searing, got a bread toast and an egg sunny-side-up. Put butter on bread, over top is egg and coffee at the side of the plate. I start eating my breakfast.
I am done eating, put the dish in the sink and wash it. Went to the bathroom to take a bath to go ready to go to work.
Dress up and lock my door and ride my motorcycle. Arrived at my workplace and saw Kiel's car outside with Max. Kiel opens the door for Max and Max gets out of the car. I step forward toward them and greet them. For Kiel, it's a fist bump and saying good morning. Max hug me and touch her cheek to mine and said good morning.
We all went upstairs. I saw Kei reading one of the paperwork, they all went to Kei's office and I went to my office. Saw all layer upon layer of paperwork. Check all the paperwork, it's past noon already so I went to Kei's office to invite them to eat lunch.
So we all went downstairs to the cafeteria. Look at the menus today to what we should eat. After choosing, we sat down and start a conversation.
" Damn, what a work, all that paperwork." said with a look of disbelief on his face.
" Well good for you, you didn't have to go to work and you didn't need it tho," I said to Kiel with a mocking voice.
" Hey, for your importation, I'm helping at my parent's company y'know."
" Yeah yeah, drinking till midnight. Is it a sound for helping parents on their company?" I ask Kiel as he gets redder from anger.
" You too, you're not a kid anymore. Stop doing something stupid." Kei interrupts our teasin' and lectures us.
" So Max, why are you here tho? You should be at your dad's company helping?" I just ask Max to avoid Kei, I don't want to be scolded anyway so I stopped teasing Kiel.
" Dad doesn't want me to work, he said it's too early and said to just have fun. So I came here secretly." Max said to us while her index finger are in her mouth trying to tell us not to tell to her dad.
Suddenly Kiel invite us to drink after we had done work. I refuse 'cause after all I'm just a worker of Keisha's dad and I'm an assistant so I should do my work seriously.
" I'll be there next time, I'm not free we have so much work to do so you'll three just go and have fun," I said to them also Kei.
" I'll pass with that, I'll be helping you. Max, Kiel you go have fun." Keisha said with disapproval of my request.
" Oh, okay guys, don't worry. I'll be there again tomorrow till next week. After the program let's hit the bar and drink." Max said with a smile on her face. All of us agreed with that idea.
Not to say but Max has a gorgeous attribute. From top to bottom of her body. Her nose is more pointy 'cause she is half. A body that curves like you can say coca cola. hair that doesn't need maintenance firm from the salon.
Kiel is also a handsome man but his attitude is uh, I don't want to be rude but trash. Always being flirty to the girls, drinking till midnight, coming outside with hickeys, and more.
Speaking of Kiel, I wonder if there's a process with his relationship with Jean. I thought Jean is applying to our company and I don't have an update from her since the last time we talked.
Kiel, has a standard man build. That's why he didn't find it difficult to find a woman. He may be lazy but not when gym or building muscle talking about. He's around 6'2 feet tall and has nice abs and good-looking biceps. Additionally, he is also second on the ranking when we were still studying. That's why his mind is broad.
I'm surrounded by good-looking people whether inside the house or outside.
