Chapter 21: Finally, an advancement!
"You know, lying here with you is all good but i think we need to move"
Norn's muffled voice sounded from Erika's breasts.
"Norn, it tickles!"
She was almost laughing as she said it.
"Why the rush though?"
She couldn't help but ask, since there was no reason for him to act that way.
"Well, i dont like being watched, especially if it's just a fucking caterpillar."
He said without lifting his head.
This time, however, Erika didn't chuckle.
"Oh, so you noticed it? You are so talented!"
She praised Norn immediately as she understood what he meant, he was finally able to use detection magic!
"Yeah, it seems that every time i have sex with you i get a stat boost, strange shit."
His voice was somewhat puzzled, as he himself was puzzled by what happened.
As for what it is exactly?
Some time after Norn "completed" the act with Erika he got a message from the system.
It said something about him succesfully pleasing a female, then it said that since she recognizes him as her husband, he gets even more.
Norn didn't find it THAT strange, as he knew many stories with such a plot.
What puzzled him is the fact that he got it. He never imagined that his cheat would be that.
He would've understood it if he was simply overpowered, but why that thing?
It's not like he was insanely horny all the time and all that.
Yeah, he was somewhat perverted but to a relatively normal degree which didn't exceed that of a normal young man.
So why did he get this power all of a sudden?
It didn't matter too much, he was simply interested in the reasoning behind it.
However, it meant that the best way for him to get stronger was to simply have a harem and "use" it frequently.
It wasn't all that bad.
He also suspected that this wasn't a cheat, and just a normal thing people from this world got, since he didn't have anything in his status that would show this "cheat" of his.
As such, it was either a power that he had from the very start, but since he didn't even have friends in his last life, forget about girlfriends, he couldn't activate it.
Then, he decided to check just how much stats he got from doing it with Erika one time as he still vaguely remembered what his stats were before this.

He said out loud.
"It seems that i mainly get points in magic for doing that, i got another 3 on top of 3 from drinking that wine or whatever."
He was still lying on Erika as getting up would rob him of this comfort.
"I also got a title and another thing in achievement tab, too bad i dont know what they're for."
Norn's voice sounded annoying as he said it, he really was!
Why couldn't he just press on the panel to see what the skill or an achievement gave him!?
"Also, can you kill that thing? Why is it looking at us like that."
He gazed at a caterpillar that was not too far away from them.
It definitely observed them, it didn't do anything thought, but it was strange nonetheless.
Why would this perverted thing just look at them? It was a damn monster, it's supposed to attack!
"Okay~"
Erika said with a kind voice, as if Norn simply asked her to give him a lap pillow or something.
Before he could even stand up so Erika would move, ne noticed a little source of light that just poof, it wasn't there anymore.
As he looked in it's direction he noticed that it was another fireball that was launched directly at the caterpillar.
That poor thing didn't even stand a chance.
"Damn, you dont even need to look to kill it."
He was impressed. He too wished to be like that.
Casting magic left and right, demolishing whole cities with just a word!
It was a dream of his!
"Haha~ It's nothing much, i am sure that with time you will be much stronger than me~~"
Her voice was even softer now, it was clear that she liked the compliment that Norn gave her.
As Norn looked at the now burning caterpillar he couldn't help but think what would've happened if he decided to forcefully "take" Erika or whatever.
Why did she allow herself to be captured by goblins anyway?
Alas, it wasn't that he wanted to know, asking it now would be strange as he already knew the reason, he lacked in understanding of her methods.
"Okay, we need to move, since those craps respawned i need to kill them again."
Norn finally started to move. It wasn't hard physically, but morally it was akin to leaving the bed in cold.
He did it nonetheless.

After Norn and Erika dressed up they both went to massacre even more caterpillars.
They didn't know how much time they spent enjoying each other, as such it was hard to say how much time those caterpillars needed to respawn.
The fact that they did was a good thing and was the only reason Norn would remain here for a while.
Why would he not? Those just gave him free level!
He was already level 4, and before he entered this place he was only at level 2!
However, he didn't know how much from it he got from caterpillars.
Norn guessed that having sex also gives him some EXP or whatever... but how much exactly?
That fucking system was just too obscure, he needed to guess to many things!
Some time later both of them were out of the dungeon once again.
It didn't take more than 10 minutes for Norn to kill every caterpillar in the dungeon.
However, as he checked his status window he found out that he didn't get anything from it.
He was still level 4, he didn't have an EXP bar or something similiar, so he wasn't sure if he got any EXP for killing those in the first place.
For the sake of science Norn decided to wait here for some time, so that caterpillars respawned and he could kill them again, in hopes of getting another level.
"Okay, Erika, do you think you'll be able to teach me some offensive spells now?"
He asked her after looking at her.
Erika just stood there, staring at the entrance to the dungeon.
She seemed puzzled by something, or she was thinking about other things that were unrelated to it...
"Yeah, it's not a problem. It fact, offensive spells such as [Fireball] or [Wind Cutter] are usually learned before detection magic."
Her response was fast, as if she wasn't dazed at all.
It didn't surpise Norn as Erika was clearly above him in all of her stats.
He didn't know the exact difference, but it was clear as day from the moment she "trapped" him when they had sex.
Ih his strength wasn't enough to even budge a little, how high was hers?
More than that, she was a mage! Strength stat wasn't even her highest stat!
He, however, wasn't afraid of her. Why would he? If she wanted to kill him she would've done so long ago.
She even gave her virginity to him, it didn't make any sense for her to be like that if she wanted to do him ill...
But, then again, her methods are questionable most of the time, so...
"Nah, she's fine."
Norn suddenly interrupted his own thought, it went in a wrong direction he didn't want to even think about.
NTR and betrayal just wasn't his thing, it would be great if he could avoid such thing altogether...
"Which one would you like to learn first? They both have their cons and pros, so i would personally advise you to learn all basic offensive spells."
Since Norn didn't answer her previous line Erika decided to continue.
"If i were you, i would learn [Fireball] first, as it's variations will be useful in practically every fight you will have."
She looked at Norn's green face.
Strangely enough, it wasn't ugly or anything.
His ears were long, just like those of an elf.
The only difference between him and a midget elf would be the color of his skin.
Well, between an ugly midget elf and him...
"Yeah, let's do just that, i believe that your choice is correct."
Norn smiled blandly at Erika.
He had no reason not to listen to her.
As such, their practice began.
It was arduos since Norn needed to first conjure a flame, then make it into a basically cannonball and only then launch.
He imagined the whole process to be akin to a cannon, as the process in those was basically the same.
He, however, didn't know if cannons were a thing in this world, thus he didn't ask if he could think about it like that.
Some time later, which was far less that normal time needed to do that, Norn learned how to cast [Fireball].
"Wow! And you were telling me that you're bad at it? Look at that! You barely took half an hour to learn a new spell! You are a genius, Norn!"
Erika wasn't stingy with her praises.
More than that, she praised him on every little step he did, always.
To other people it might be boring or annoying, but to Norn who wasn't praised for years...
It was insanely pleasant.
Even more, it was his wife who praised him!
It doubled the impact from her words!
"Thank you. Would've been impossible without your help, so i'm not that good, it's just that u're such a good teacher."
He didn't deny her praise, but decided to include her in his own achievement.
He had a point, since it would be much harder without her.
Moreover, he wouldn't even know how to use magic without her, so all of his achievements now were tied to her existence.
"I... I am supposed to be the one to praise you!"
Erika blurted out quickly, she was clearly embarrassed by Norn's last line.
"It's fine, we're both great. Can we try healing magic now? I want to learn it as fast as i can..."
He didn't bother explaining a reason behind his wish.
It's not like Erika wouldn't teach him unless he had one.
"Sure, i'm sure that you will do it right this time!"
He didn't.
He failed again and again.
Norn even started thinking that spells in this world had a stat requirement or something like that.
The process behind the spell was exactly the same, but Norn's version failed every single time.
Erika even tried to uphold the "base" of the spell on her own, but it collapsed anyway.
It was just too strange.
The only explanation Norn could find is that he was limited by something.
It would be fine if it said WHAT THE FUCKING LIMIT WAS, EXACTLY!
WHY THE FUCK DOES HE NEED TO GUESS WHAT HE'S DOING WRONG AND WHAT NOT?
WHAT FUCKING RETARD CAME UP WITH AN IDEA TO MAKE SUCH A SETTING?
"Shhhh...."
It was a sound he made in his mind in an attempt to chill out.
This whole thing was infuriating, to say the least.
"Okay, i'll go kill some caterpillars now, looks like they respawned."
And they really did. Norn didn't even need to check it out himself as his detection magic was now working!
It was, of course, FAR worse than Erika's version, but it still allowed him to see from different angles and observe the whole place in general.
Basically, it was a radar from those games he played. It worked the same, but if he concentrated he could also move his perspective to a place of choosing.
All in all this spell was just too strong if it's range was great.
Norn's range was... Uh... Let's just say that it's okay since he's a goblin.
...
Some time later he cleared the dungeon once more.
Sadly, the boss didn't respawn.
"It might take a week or a day, you never know."
Was Erika's answer to a question about boss respawn time.
It was obvious, why would a boss respawn as frequently as a normal mob?
That was silly.
Some more time later Norn walked out of the dungeon, clearly disappointed.
"You didn't level up?"
Erika immediately asked him, she was just too caring.
"It's fine, this dungeon is shit. We'll need to find another one..."
As he was about to say something, he stopped and furrowed his brows.
"Wait, didn't you say that mobs in dungeons drop items? Where are they, then?"
He only noticed it now.
"Oh, they do. It's just that those caterpillars drop silk webs that are practically useless."
She explained without a pause.
"Also, this sheet is made from those, from what i see this is the only thing you can get here."
She was covering herself with that sheet they got from the chest.
It was really pleasant to the touch, and Erika proposed to make something for Norn from it, but he refused immedaitely, asking her to make something for herself as "It'll make want to touch you even more."
"I see. Got any idea what you'll make from it?"
Norn asked as he himself was interested... He couldn't wait to see whatever she made, it would be just... too good.
"Yeah, it's a surprise~."
Erika smiled a little as she said it.
"Sure, cant wait to see it"
Norn chuckled as he heard it. He already had a few guesses about it.
"Well, anyway, let's go back, there's nothing to do here anymore and it's getting dark."
He didn't want to be here anymore. This dungeon was just too fucking stupid.
Yeah, the reward for clearing it was good, that +3 to magic was nice, but apart from that?
He couldn't abuse this dungeon at all! It was cruel!
As such, both of them started walking back to the village...
