Chapter 2: The Adventures of a Ship Captain in the Omniverse
People talk about things like sensory deprivation but I didn't feel anything.
I died.
No portal, no god cheerfully telling me I'm dead, no Japanese office worker shuffling the papers for my reincarnation, no God's voice speaking through the crowd.
But yes, it started... with my death.
No, I didn't die from the truck.
I just collapsed, a heart attack caught me in the middle of the street and I fell dead immediately.
I woke up in a strange garden.
I should have panicked, but I didn't. I feel nerves, tension, frustration. But don't panic.
I walk slowly through the garden and I don't see anyone in the garden, I just see a chair and on the chair is a long document.
I look at the documents and realize that there are several of them.
I approach and take the first document and see.
On the first page, it says "Congratulations to the chosen one for receiving great power. Please fill out the application form to start the adventure. Below the logo there is a disclaimer "Please note that in your home reality there is no afterlife, if you refuse the offer you will be exposed to the cessation of existence. Thanks for reading."
I can feel my panic rising as I continue to quote this.
Rejection is out of the question, I don't want to cease to exist. I think he made an easier choice when my parents died when I was a baby and I don't have many friends, I have nothing to lose.
I sit on the chair and take the document in my hands and slowly start reading it.
A smile crosses my face, the first document is my ticket to absolute omnipotence.
It took me three hours to read all the documents and analyze everything in my head.

I am waking up.
I open my eyes and see that I am in some strange green liquid.
Big tubes are in my mouth.
I have no problem breathing and I feel the tubes coming out of my mouth allowing me to breathe on my own again.
The liquid is slowly draining away and I can see that the capsule is opening.
I go outside and see that I am on some futuristic spaceship.
I see them, two androids.
Wait, are those tits under their armor...then they are Gynoids.
Androids just drop to their knees at my appearance
"Master, what are your orders?" they both said out loud.
"Who are you?"..."Where am I" I ask the two gynoids.
"I'm Sara and the one next to me is Rebecca," answers Sara
"You, my lord, are on your own spaceship," Rebecca replies.
Now I realize they are my crew created by my choices.
Honestly, I kind of believe I'm experiencing some kind of lucid dream, but part of me knew this was real.
I feel a flood of information begin to pour into my mind.
All this information, which had accumulated, was now passing through my mind as I felt the data properly assimilated, the data coming at the same speed, but I could actually read it, understand it. Pictures, entire text in books, audio files and a dozen other things entered my mind. I felt like my brain was itching as information continued to pour in from somewhere outside of me. Even then, the itching sensation slowly subsided as understanding increased, each new piece of knowledge falling into place in some kind of massive puzzle that I couldn't even begin to understand.
Science was massively expanded as technical manuals of all kinds entered my mind, and some of the things, I'm sure, had no word in any human language to describe them. A complex theory was placed before me, which signified things ranging from advanced quantum mechanics, to what appeared to be some kind of dimensional theory mixed with the blueprints of countless technologies.
And then I felt how the experience of a million naval battles slowly seeped into my brain. Memories of battles I couldn't even imagine being merged into my own mind, experiences, tactical acumen and knowledge of space combat, all blend in with the rest of the information.
I feel no shame from my complete nudity.
I feel that every part of my body is perfect in every sense, I was tall, my body was full of muscles as if I were a statue carved from granite.
And then I saw... was I so blind in my life, I saw so many new colors and shapes with my eyes, I heard so many new sounds and smelled so many new smells.
The world opened up to me in a riot of colors that I knew were beyond human experience. The thought and my vision expanded to cover almost the entire EM spectrum. A second thought, and it switched to showing the world as a heat haze and heat vents, while a third thought caused it to shift once more to show UV radiation in the world around me.
My companions pull me out of my stupor.
Two androids just jumped on me and hugged me. Their facial expressions changed, their faces shone with joy and extreme joy when they realized that I was near them.
"You're here... You're here... You're here... You're here and you're real and we're not alone anymore..." They whispered while I just took my hands and stroked them through my hair, saying nothing.
"Master!? Are you okay?! Please, Master, are you okay?! Please! I can't be alone... Please... Master... Please be okay..." I heard as I was just petting the two of them, and I was reminded that I wasn't alone after a dozen different prayers, whines and pleas.
"Hey... Hey, it's okay... I'm here... I'm not going anywhere..." I said that last comment to myself more than anything else. A reminder that I'm probably not going anywhere anytime soon.
"What happened to me?" I asked, still staring at this unfamiliar body.
"According to the records, you were teleported directly into one of the nano-surgical tanks," she said with a happy expression on her face. "Upon your arrival, the ship's command system scanned you and then registered you as its captain. At the same time, a set of body augmentation instructions was loaded directly into the ship's systems from an unknown vector."
"Medical logs indicate that you have received a full body that has grown into your current form, as well as pheromone enhancements and comprehensive anti-aging cellular modifications. Your brain has also received a set of bio-augmentation and cybernetic implants, giving you enhanced learning, speed cognitive processing and social intelligence, as well as near-perfect memory, brain-machine interface channels and neural augmented reality feed."
"You also received a package of psychic protection that raised your psychic powers to an extreme level," Sara said with a smile.
"How many people does the ship have?" I ask.
"The ship has numerous artificial intelligences, captain. Each field, such as medicine, chemistry, biology, and others, has a dedicated intelligence that oversees them. We also have a bunch of artificial intelligences that are currently dormant. The ship has the capacity to create as many AI instances as you want with enough time . Our population is exactly 10,000,000.
That's a lot of crew.
I manage to recover from my daze. "Take me to the bridge". I'm ordering.
"Yes, my lord," Rebecca said.
She motioned for me to follow her.
As I followed her to the bridge, I started playing with my neural cyber software, accessing the functions and generally figuring out how everything worked. It turns out to be very intuitive to operate, thanks to the basic knowledge download.
God, this was so cool.
On a whim, I decided to check the astrometric system for our current position in space. The ship was currently parked in orbit around a gas giant, and I myself was in orbit around an ordinary red dwarf somewhere in the central parts of the galaxy. The galaxy itself was not present in any of the ship's records, and there were no signs of life or technology anywhere in this system, or from any of the nearby stars. We really were in the cosmic wilderness.
I decided to check my own bedroom and confirmed my theory.
The room was richly decorated.
The bed was huge with a golden frame. The room seemed to be made of some kind of dark metal that seemed to absorb light. The room was a building of wealth, every part of the room very expensive and beautifully decorated. There was a chandelier on the ceiling, a huge metal grid holding shiny, beautiful metal.
As I thought.
On the other hand, the ship was in perfect condition, the ship seems to use multiple types of fuel, essentially giving me an inexhaustible source of energy. We had multiple FTL methods and lots of inventory in warehouses.
We saw some android crew members inspecting along the way, wearing overalls similar to mine. They were all girls, along with some androgynous individuals, each attractive in their own way, with different skin tones and normal and anime hair and eye color.
As we passed them, they stopped what they were doing and greeted me with a smile and a bow. I half expected them to jump on me, but I think their desire to perform their duties overrode their desire to jump on me, and I happily nodded in response, letting them do their work while we moved on.
Soon we came to a large, automated door clearly marked Command Bridge.
The door opens and we enter
The command bridge was large.
A huge black throne stood on a hill, while only small steps allowed access to the throne.
The throne was obviously of a mechanical nature.
The throne is obviously the command chair.
Due to its size, the command bridge could be used for organizing parties, large delegations and commanding the war at the same time.
I approach the throne and sit on it and feel that I am connected to the very core of the ship.
"Analyze the entire galaxy and let us know about any life form or signs of civilization" I order, I'm a little curious to confirm my theory about this galaxy.
"Yes, Lord," answered an obviously female voice, although I knew it was a robot.
I can see the scan data coming out to my eyes.

The screen stayed at 99% for a few minutes while the data was being calculated.

"Scanning completed, no signs of life or the slightest traces of civilization found," the voice replied.
My theory is confirmed, this is my personal galaxy that I have chosen in the documents.
I have a whole galaxy full of resources and without any traces of life. When I think about it a little more, that would mean that the ship is actually inside me because the galaxy is in my warehouse.
At the thought of so much wealth, a smile crosses my face and I turn to Sara and Rebecca "Who am I to you?" .
"You are our captain. The captain we've been waiting for for eons." Rebecca answered with a smile on her face as she looked up at me.
"Our Lord, We have waited for so long... We have waited for you for so long, and we are glad that you have returned". Sara added before she just walked over to the throne and pressed herself against me as thoroughly as she could, as if she believed I would disappear the moment I let her go, her hold remaining firm as her legs entwined between mine and locked. in place.
Rebecca just watched the scene jealously before she suddenly wrapped her arms around my neck, pressing her head to my chest in a hug.
Sat with tako on my throne as I hugged two androids.
In one thought, I scanned all the data I had received from the entire ship I now controlled. Each system appears at full capacity, ready for action.
All the systems I wanted were there, systems aimed at allowing me to build and expand, potentially allowing me to upgrade a massive ship.
I even got information on how to produce sister ships that could have the same capabilities as mine.
I took a look at what I needed and was dizzy with the numbers and resources needed to build just one sistership, the amount of raw materials to build would leave entire multiverses empty of any resources.
I continue to sort through the data and see that the ship even has a database of the names of the crew members, each android and artificial intelligence had its own name and a document dedicated to itself and with one thought everything appeared before my eyes.
I go through the names for a few minutes before I decide to continue.
Any plan I came up with would have a lot of resources to carry out especially since the ship I was commanding had a lot of things that could help me.
One of them was a biomedical facility that could be used to construct anything from clones, chimeras and hybrids, cybernetic horrors, genetically engineered soldiers, new species or literally anything to do with biology was at my fingertips. I just need a sample of what I want to modify.
Combined with the ship's massive computing power, I was pretty sure that any of my plans could be executed effectively given enough data and time.
I continue my wandering through the data until I decide that is enough for now. It would take me an eternity to read and process everything.
"My ladies, I think we hugged each other enough," I answer with a charming smile while stroking their hair.
Their faces were shocked for a moment as they slowly thawed, tears starting to roll from their eyes. I looked and saw a smile on their faces "Thank you master for this."
They both got up from me.
"My dear ladies, call me John" I reply with the same friendly smile, I see no need for them to address me, as their master.
