Chapter 35: Finding a weak point
As I showed back up I heard they had a eventful night,
Klaus told Rebekah what he did with Elijah, they agreed to help each other, and Rebekah confronted Marcel and met his secret weapon.
I walked in the house to see Nick sitting in the living room.
"How are you doing this morning brother."
"Are we still sour about last night?"
"You drove your hand into my chest and all I get is, am I sour?"
"You've done way worse."
He got angry and threw something into a wall.
"Are you that mad at the fact that I can't be controlled, by you scared my you."
"Why do you always have to be so hard, we used to be so close, close enough you'd never do what you did."
"Simple we grew up, I do what I do to make sure you don't go out of control but I'd also destroy the world to save you just the same."
"At lest I'm still on the list of people you'd do that for."
"You've done many horrible things throughout the centuries, if any of those things hasn't taken you out of the list nothing will at this point."
Me and him start to laugh when Rebekah came in and we start to talk about small things to catch up.
As Rebekah makes a one off comment to Klaus about caring about his baby mama said soon to be mama walked in.
"Said mother would like to know what we are going to do to get Elijah back from your mortal enemy after you literally stabbed him in the back."
Nick looked amused. " technically I stabbed him in the front."
"I don't care I want to know how we are getting the good brother the brother I like back."
I faked gasped. "I know we just meet but I'm hurt, I'm way better then always morally right."
Nick pointed at me. "I do like you better, and Marcel isn't my mortal enemy, he's my friend, a friend that doesn't know I'm trying to take back what he took from me but a friend nonetheless.
And secondly I daggered my brother to gain his trust."
I looked at him. "Which went amazingly didn't it."
"I don't want to hear it, if I knew he'd hand him to a angry teenage witch I'd do things differently."
"You could of called me, you know the one you ghosted for over 100 years, I'm still not over that."
"Stop your complaining, we are explaining someones downfall that always cheers you up."
"Maybe with the whole family here I would be having fun."
Rebekah got tired of our bickering. "Boys! Enough, can we move forward."
"Fine and the plan, care to explain dear sister."
"It's to just ask for him back."
Haley looked like she didn't think It'd be that easy. "And when that fails, is there a plan B."
I got excited. "Ok I'll take this, plan B is to go to war, that's the best part."
"Nick go talk to our dear friend while I put the witches in there place."
Haley looked at me. "Don't do to much I'm Linked to a witch, what happens to her happens to me."
I hit my head. "I completely forgot about that."
I put my hand on her shoulder. "There, you free."
"That easy, and since when do you have powers."
"For centuries, and yes that easy, the witches around here are to weak to contest against my power."
"Rebekah could you be a dear and text Sophie and have her meet me at the witches shop, after that you can go on hunt for where the teen witch is held."
"I have to do every bloody thing around here."
As she walked away, I yelled. "You're the best sister ever."
"I'm the only sister you have."
"That's alive."
I stood in front of the witches shop and waited for Sofie, the witch who thinks she's linked to Haley.
After 10 minutes of waiting she showed up.
"Finally, you showed up."
"You're not Rebekah."
"No I'm the better sibling."
She looked closely at me.
"Are you Kol?"
"Are you trying to hurt my feelings, I'm way better then Kol."
"Ok, Ethan that's the only other sibling I haven't met."
"At least you got it on the second try."
"It's really you, you dropped off the face of this earth nearly 200 years ago."
"Does no one watch tv around here, hell some people are using my tech and they still don't seem to recognize me."
"What do you want?"
"You're being nice to me I'm surprised last time I was hear the witches didn't like me."
"Different generation."
I have a feeling before this is done it'll be the same.
"Whatever I'm here because Haley was given a poison, then exposed by a witch from this shop."
"How do you know it wasn't from somewhere else?"
"Call it magic, it was from here, you're here to be shown some tips, you asked my family for help and then threatened us to do so, then one of you own tried to get rid of your leverage, I think you need to keep a tighter leash on your people." I started to walk to the door. "Or I will for you."
I walked in to see a young woman putting supplies on a shelf.
"Hi Sophie, how can I help you."
"I'm just here to get some information."
"About what?"
"I don't know about this plant called wolfs-bane."
She looked utterly terrified.
"I didn't do anything I promise."
"Then why are you so scared."
"I'm serious all I did was talk to her."
I grabbed her and threw her into the wall then caught her by her throat and help her down.
"I don't like liars, so I'll ask again know anything?"
"All I did was give her what she wanted."
"That's it?"
"Yes I promise."
I pulled her off the wall and slammed her in the table and walked down the side of it knocking everything off with her head."
She looked at Sophie. "Sophie please help!"
She looked scared but knew she couldn't do anything to me.
"Just tell him what he wants!"
I looked at Sofie when she talked then I looked back at the girl in my hand.
"I just told one person but he's good I promise, you have to understand I love him."
"Oh, tell me all about it."
I heard an amazing story about a witch and vampire falling in love but the problem is that vampires and witches are in a war in this town so the little troublemaker does anything asked of her to stay with him.
I left the shop and went into the ally and astral projected myself to Nick.
When I showed up I seen something I haven't seen in a while Nick torturing some vampires.
"May I ask why you are down here torturing these poor vampires?"
"To drain them dry so I can use compulsion on them."
"Didn't you hear me when I said I would do it for you since you can't."
He looked at the men hanging. "Already started might as well finish."
"Whatever, I just came to tell you the good news."
"Well don't leave me in suspense."
"Marcel's right hand man is fraternizing with the enemy."
"Amazing."
"Yep so now he's our first strike against him, and if we play our cards right, maybe a way to gain his trust and our brother back."
"I love the way you think."
"Also I just noticed, you haven't mentioned Katerina?"
"Oh when she noticed Elijah was gone she got annoying so I had her shipped out of town then desecrated for the time being."
"You realize that he's probably going to be more angry at that then you stabbing him."
"He'll get over it."
"Let's call sister back and that witch, we have someone's death to plan."
