Sterling heard Faye sigh when she paused her story. She stared at that golden cage in the corner of the room, and an expression of sorrow crossed her face. Then she continued the tale.

"But the butterfly queen would not relent to the dragon's desires for her. He offered her all the treasure in his horde. He offered her power, he even offered her the world it's self."
