'Thaumela!'

[Yes Ophis]

'I have a question about my race?'

[And what might that be]

'In terms of technology, how advanced are the Nagasaur... when compare to the people of Paragon.'

[Honestly, their technology isn't even worthy of being toys for your pets, hell even primitive technology of your kind can destroy an entire universe with ease, seeing it is the smallest measurement of space from a Nagasaur perspective]

'Ha, a universe is the smallest measurement of space for a Nagasaur, how so?'

[Well despite being from a warrior race, your kind has other ways to entertain themselves, such ways were mostly observing lesser life forms, from afar, for entertainment, research, or collecting genetic samples worthy of their time from spatial fruits from special world trees call the "Tree of Knowledge"]

'Tree of knowledge?'

[Yes, the Nagasaur were so technologically advance to the point they can easily make a large garden of omniversal tree from superstrings, referred to as the "Tree of Knowledge" and the fruits these trees produce contains a large number of worlds each abiding by their own mathematical principle and laws of physics]

[That's why I said universes in these fruits were the smallest measurement of infinite space, seeing these fruits contain parrel, and nonparallel, universes, that are just a part of an even larger and complex multiverse]

[However, the possibilities were not truly infinite, the fruit itself had only a finite amount of infinity, seeing that the seeds within these fruits are type 4 multiverses containing infinite universes at their peak size no bigger, no smaller, and the fruits these trees contain were only 34 seeds in total, so if you take that into consideration, the Nagasaur can only absolutely observed, alter, and manipulate 34 layers of infinities per fruit to quench their curiosity]

Thaumela replied to Ophis, as she gave an example of one of the best technological feats the Nagasaur were able to do when they were at their peak.

Ophis on the other hand, remained silent, as he said to himself.

'Interesting, the Nagasaur were truly amazing beings indeed, although they had their limitations as well, and based on Thaumela's explanation, this means their power wasn't truly infinite like I originally imagine, unimaginably large yes! But undoubtedly finite sadly to say, but still; their technology is still capable of controlling superstrings, and if remember correctly, I once heard Minerva said that superstrings were 10th dimensional in nature, possibly eleventh, and yet my species despite all their power, were wipe out by the New Gods so easily, according to my lore sheet, it's such as a sad thing when you think about it.'

Ophis remained silent, as he was puzzled by the threat that is the New Gods, however, he was happy by the fact, that the only reason the New Gods kill his race, was because the New Gods deeply feared the Nagasaur's overwhelming power evolutionary change.

As such, to ensure they stayed as the supreme overlord of creation within this fragment, they destroyed the entire race without leaving a single trace, or that is what they believed because, in a last-ditch effort to obliterate them, a single pod got past their eyes, as such they chase down the last Nagasaur which was him. but in the end, he escape, but for how long even Ophis didn't know.

'Thaumela one more question... tell me, can the New Gods invade other fragments?'

[Yes, but their power would be greatly reduced due to the cosmology barrier, but regardless of that, they would still be strong enough to be a challenge, even to a group of high-level players with 100% compatibility like yourself]

'I see, so confrontation with the enemy is inevitable just because of my species ha? Talk about taking racism to a whole new level. Honestly, my lore and personal story are such dog shit, but like I always say to myself many times before, a man must play with the cards they are dealt from birth, as such; even if the chances of success are as low as a pitiful 0.1% it is still a chance nonetheless.'

'But still, I have no desire for revenge, especially for a race I have no found connection to, and yet the likeliness of my death is 99.99%, truly it is sad... and I'm not even the type that would act because of pure emotions, I can see reason when necessary, and this is a losing battle no matter how I see it.'

Ophis said to himself, as he began to re-read his lore sheet, and the reason he was doing this, was because he wanted to get a better understanding of how to fully take advantage of this narrative device when he goes to create his first servant.

And despite his ability to ignore storyline missions of his choosing, due to his (Avarice) perk, of the (Mountain Deity) job class, the same couldn't be said for the finale showdown that this plot device, call the lore creation sheet made.

It was set so his fate and the New Gods' fate were connected, in layman's terms, for Ophis the New God for his story, was like that one unavoidable finale boss, you have to fight if you want to beat the game.

And since Pandora NPCs are self-adaptive Ai's, with their own individuality, this story can go in any direction, at any given moment, as the possibilities were endless.

Then and again, this was only a theory that Ophis made up, seeing that the NPCs were like real people, yes this game called Pandora Online was too real, he could interact with them in many ways, and their voices, responses, and emotions were too real to be pre-recorded, that and the fact, that Pandora is so big, that its scales beyond what the imagination can fathom.

So self-learning and self-adaptive AI programs were the only things that Ophis can logically think of that would make any actual sense of the game NPC mechanics at all. If it was something else entirely, then Ophis would have to admit that he does not know the secrete behind the fluid interaction he has with these NPCs.

But regardless of this, Ophis didn't want to lose his status, money, or power in Pandora, for him who had been trapped in his own mind for ten years, this place was like a sanctuary where anything is possible.

All his dreams and selfish desires could be granted here, for that reason he would not tolerate any kind of defeat of any magnitude or form. So with this in mind, he said to himself.

'Very well then, let the New Gods come if they so desire, if it is war they want, It is war they shall receive, although to ensure my survival, I need more strength, allies, equipment, and overall power.'

'As such, I need to make backup plans, for my backup plan, that's why I can't waste this character creation if the possibilities are truly endless within Pandora online, then I shall make something that can ensure my victory despite the odds.'

'So tell me Thaumela, how can I create a character using the lore sheet, my guess is, that these points play a significant role right?'

[To create a character; is like writing a story for your original OC, your imagination is the limit, for instance, you have to consider many different things, such as the quality, potential, power, benefits, background, and many other variables; in short, the best way to do this is by writing a short story, with vague terms, and after it is finished, the system will determine the total amount of points needed for this to become a reality, keep in mind you have over 350 lore points, and single Lore Sheet which is an administrator-level artifact, and to even make your lore possible, a total of 100,000,000 lore points was used to make your character free of cost, due to the diverse history of your race, and their capabilities]

Thaumela explains with great detail, if that is the case, then without a doubt he himself can not be too detailed about his character.

'So in layman's terms, I have to make my description short and simple, or better yet vague, and depending on what I have written, my words will manifest my idea into reality, although the end result might not be what I was aiming for right?'

[Affirmative]

'I see, ok then, quick question let's say I keep my words extremely short, but I invest all my point into that single or multiple short statements, will that boost the effectiveness of what I create?'

[Cheating the system ha? well I don't know, no one has tried that before, and to be honest, you are the 199,321st person in existence to receive the opportunity to make a special NPC, and the 87th person in existence to get this item in a single day at that, although I have never met someone who was crazy enough to risk such a precious item, and treat it like a gacha role, in short, you are just going to leave it up to lady luck are you]

'That's the plan, 350 lore points is too little to even make the simplest detailed request, so I'm going to take my chances and create something with a single sentence, although what kind of character will be born is beyond even me, and I guess even you.'

[That can be dangerous you know]

'I know but I have an idea to ensure absolute loyalty.'

[...]

'Either way, I want to begin the creation process as soon as possible, so if anything I'm ready to make well whatever the hell will come to being.'

[Very well, let's begin the creation process]

And like that Thaumela summon a floating scroll and a simple-looking pen, she then said.

[All you have to do is write the sentence you want to write and tear the lore sheet in half to confirm the start of your character creation, normally the gamer system would tally up the necessary point needed to make the special NPC, but since you are leaving it up to the system to create a random being from your vague description by sacrificing all your lore points, there is no need for calculation as you are not expecting too much, although try to make your character creation as vague as possible]

'Thie is no need, honestly, my description will be very simple.'

Replied Ophis who began to write a short sentence, by controlling the pen with his telekinesis, it was but five words, but was very vague.

{Extremely loyal!!! And unknown existence}

[Really, is that all?]

'Well you said to make it as vague as I possibly can and to ensure loyalty, I purposely emphasize the two words of "extremely loyal" with three exclamation marks, and to make it random, I didn't describe the character I wanted; instead, I used the adjective "unknown" to ensure the randomness of the creation, the only thing I care about is the loyalty part, and what is birth because of this will hopefully be something powerful.

[Well hopefully you get something good, but with all honesty, I am Ai, and I have uncomfortable feeling about this, so I will ask you again, are you sure you want to go ahead with this player Ophis]

'Yes, now stop asking questions.'

[Very well then, proceed to tear the lore sheet, at your own risk of course]

And without saying anything else, Ophis tore the lore sheet, and it went up in flame, but right after that nothing happen.

'So what now?'

Ophis questions Thaumela.

However, the answer he got surprised him as the Thaumela said.

[What the hell? how is that possible]

'How is what possible?'

[Normally I can see the information of the special NPC, a player makes, but your NPC information... it isn't here]

'And why is that?'

[I don't know, although it shouldn't be possible]

'Is it a failure then, did I waste all 350 lore points.'

[No, to be honest, the system said the creation process was successful, however, the information of the being in question isn't here, all your special NPC profile is saying is your name, and that's it]

'My name ha.... hmmm interesting, but still, I don't know what I have created, and seeing that I don't know what was created, this special NPC creation is a failure till proven otherwise, after all, I can't use something that isn't present.'

'And are you sure, it wasn't a failure?'

[No you definitely created something, but I don't know what you created, if anything it might be here, hiding somewhere]

With this information Ophis had an idea, maybe if he command it to come out it will, so with this idea in mind, he shouted out in a distorted voice, after all, he still couldn't talk properly.

"If you are hiding, I command you to show yourself this instant!"

But nothing came out even after shouting two more times.

'*Sigh!* This is actually knowing if not nerve-racking, and here I thought it would have obedience, well maybe it's not in the mood to talk, or it could be something small like bacteria, or it's unable to show itself, there can be a lot of factors, worst case scenario the system took unknown too literally if that was the case I just played myself.'

[So what now]

'Well it doesn't matter, as far as I am concerned it's a failure, but oh well, you can't win them all I guess... and I do not have the time to cry about it. So for the time being, I will just have to put this behind me and move on to phase two of my plan, and summon forth my spirit within the necklace of rebirth.'

And with those words said, Ophis began to float from his bed and fly outside in the courtyard, in order to summon his spirit.

However, Ophis and the system were completely unaware of the monstrosity that they brought forth into existence because if you would look closely, high up in the air, a small hummingbird was randomly flying past the ancient ruins, but as soon as it flew over Ophis shadow, it suddenly disappeared from reality, it was almost as if it was deleted from existence completely.

What happened to this bird? Will there be others? or is it a one-time thing? well, only time can tell.
