Looking at the Memories passing by, Ethan and Wine looked on with focused minds, they could feel themselves being more influenced by the memories the more they flashed on.
Suddenly, Wine broke the silence and said, "Teacher, I am finally starting to feel a bit overwhelmed, I feel like if you have deeper defining parts to your memory, I might truly become your clone."
They were in a dark place, all they could feel was each other in an embrace. Everything else was blank. This was how the process of cloning worked, it was dangerous but it was equally beneficial.
Two personalities pitted against each other till the one with less knowledge and understanding of themselves starts to vanish and get replaced by the one with more knowledge of themselves
It was a battle that only they and they alone could fight, till now, it had been a lead for Wine since Ethan's voice had started to become feminine now. Slowly transforming his soul signature into Wine's. But the moment he vanished from the basement, it started to change.
Ethan turned in the blankness and said in his feminine voice, "Update me if you feel anything different from usual like that, and when you start to feel overwhelmed, try to lose yourself against me as much as possible."
"Yes, teacher!" Wine cheerfully replied.
Ethan closed his eyes and continued what he had been doing, silently pondering with closed eyes.
And Wine kept watching the memories, at the moment, she really felt as if she had lived all 20-plus years of her Teacher's life and the more she watched, the more she felt attached to him.
For Ethan too, he felt as if he was living a life as Wine.
It was still up for debate whether he would end up her clone or she would his, but he was more than 80% sure in his chances. As far as he saw, it was just the start and she was already being overwhelmed.
He couldn't help but smile slightly.
Impossible as his dreams seemed at one point, he was finally reaching it's first steps.
