Mei Lan understood the underlined meaning of his words. The Inner Zone was no place for the weak and only the strongest shall survive. Had she been in a pinched situation, he would certainly abandon her without any second thought. The same also applied to him, she should run away if something happens to him.
"En, I understand. That's why I 'must' come with you."
Mei Lan entered the bathroom, naked. She hugged Wang Jun from behind tightly, begging for one last courtship before they embark on their perilous journey.

Before long, morning had arrived in the Starto Village. Feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, Mei Lan's fair and pretty face was glowing vibrantly. To protect her vital parts, she wore plate armor that covered her chest area, it fit snuggly following her body contour. The light weight pauldrons perched on her shoulders. A pair of gauntlets fits perfectly on both arms. Lastly, she chose thighs-high high heels boots to protect her long and beautiful legs.
Although her outfit was less revealing her skin, the tightness, however, made her somewhat sexier than the last time. Especially her voluptuous front and back, her hour-glass curvy figure also added her appeal.
"They look good on you." Wang Jun praised her look.
"You mean my outfit and armor set?"
"No. Your ears and tails." Wang Jun made her flushed, her cheeks were as red as a ripe cherry.
"Thank you," Though she tried to hide her happiness, her tails and ears said the contrary as they wagged and twitched in harmony.
But of course, their appearances really stood out amidst the crowds. Other players couldn't help but to feel envious and jealous of them. Especially the male players who glared at Wang Jun with hatred.

Wang Jun sighed with annoyance. "How noisy, let's go there!" He tugged her hand, led the bemused young lady into an shadowy alley.

Wang Jun held her hands and used his [Abyss Walk] to teleport away from this crowded village and arrived at the Inner Zone's entrance of the Huelan Great Forest.
An old, short and scrawny looking old man guarded the gate, he sat cross legged atop a huge boulder just beside the gate, he rested his head onto his right knuckle while his right thigh supported his elbow.
He yawned as the two came closer, caressed his long white beard with left hand. "Two challengers, huh? Two gold coins! Pay the toll and you may pass."
