Chapter 6: Chapter 5
Levi poked his head in the kitchen to find Vespers large trunk on the floor and her making omlettes for breakfast.
"I nearly thought we were of need to hide a body Vesper the dragging and clanking startled me."
Vesper nearly jumped out of her socks hearing Levi speak.
"I'm sorry I wasn't trying to wake you." She said quietly.
Levi found humor in this she was Naturally loud, "Vesper you don't have to be quiet for my sake." He said as he poured himself a warm mug of coffee adding cream the drinking it after a quick stir.
"Mmmm I feel cleansed of exhaustion."
Vesper Glanced at him.
"Levi we will be traveling about 12 hours will you be ready for the trip to Wyoming?" He looked at vespers uneasiness.
If your worried I can always go back to bed he teased her"
"No no no.... " She paused. "I'll put our bags in the car!" she sparked with energy running outside with his bags abandoning the omelets.
Levi chuckled at her enthusiasm as he rose to take the pan flipping the food preventing it from burning as he kindly added herbs spice and other delicious ingredients. He had been finishing up the omelets when Vesper came in panting from her morning workout.
"All done I packed....." She listed a number of items Levi simply ignored he just needed an extra pair of pants in his eyes. He placed her plate on the table as she sat he moved her closer to the table placing an empty clear glass in front of her and pouring it full of almond milk with honey so she would get the nutritional boosts she needed she was far to thin for his liking.
He stopped after he closed the fridge shaking his thoughts away before returning to his seat to enjoy his meal and coffee.
"Vesper why the sudden trip may I ask who we will be visiting?"
"My family I miss them and things here for both of us have been chaotic we need a break. "
"Oh am I to assume they will belive I am your boyfr...."
"Levi if you finish that sentence I will personally stab you with my fork we agreed not to date from the get go and if your gonna break that rule now then...."
Levi rose his hand silencing Vesper in an instant. "I'm teasing Ves. if I had feelings for you we both agreed in the moving agreement to tell the other immediately if there were any change in our feelings. By how you are flustered now though I can see you do have some thoughts about me now that weren't there before. "
It was true Levi was eye candy and she found flower telling her fantasies and filling her head with silly ideas. "I apologize Levi. I will make sure to clear anything with my parents that may make you feel uncomfortable. "
"I don't mind. If you believe it is easier they belive we are having relations then so be it I can put on that mask. I don't need your parents trying to push you to me anyway just for you to be upset with them and fight saying no. "
On that not Levi was right every girls parents tried to push for good genetics now over love. "Thank you Levi it would help to make this trip smoother."
"No proublem." He said sipping his coffee already reading the Sunday news.
After breakfast Vesper went upstairs to get dressed she was still in her night attire Levi who had dressed earlier in jeans and a red button down rolled up his sleeves and began to load the car with there bags putting a small ice chest in the front for them to have drinks. Levi stretched after loading vespers trunk into the car and he saw Vesper holding a small purple shoulder bag a little snap shot camera. She was dressed in a sunflower dress with a floppy sun hat dark sunglasses and sandles. Wasn't Wyoming still kinda cold this time of year Levi thought.
"Ready." He said dropping his aviators over his eyes and closing the trunk.
Vesper nodded getting in the car pulling out her phone to play games on as Levi got in and started the car the house locked now. They began to back out and leave hitting the Highway they cruised along.
