Chapter 11 – Against jjk - First Half
Although maintaining a confident smile on his face, Gojo was definitely not smiling inside. He knew this would be difficult, since his skill [Six Eyes] didn't tell him anything about Ciel at all.
Normally, this technique could ascertain anyone's strength, but not Ciel's, it just came up as blank. This already served as a warning to be vigilant.
They both eventually arrived at quite an open space, and it was here that Gojo initiated the conversation.
"Sooooo, we both know you aren't human, so what are you? You're definitely not a cursed spirit."
"I am not obliged to tell you that." A cruel smile appeared on her face, "although, aren't you underestimating my strength a bit too much to have something blocking your sight.?"
Knowing what she meant, Gojo smiled and took his eye-band off, revealing his diamond-like eyes to the world.
"My name's Gojo."
"Ciel."
After she finished that sentence, Gojo, with immense speed, arrived in front of Ciel and punched forwards. Moreover it was not a normal punch, it was covered his cursed technique skill [Blue].This produces a vacuum which creates a scenario where the world itself is forced to correct itself and fill in the negative space. In other words, Gojo is controlling his cursed energy technique perfectly to the point where he is using the world's strength in this punch.
But much to his surprise, Ciel simply extended her hand forward and caught it, creating a shockwave behind her that decimated the ground, but she remained fine.
Then she counter-attacked. She gave a simple punch infused with nothing but pure strength. Due to this, her punch actually didn't hit Gojo but the infinity between them.
One of Gojo's ability is [Infinity], where there is a small gap surrounding his body, and any object will never touch him, but slow down to an infinite level before touching him. He is also able to control how much it slows by altering the mass, speed and strength of the object.
Naturally, Ciel knew this, but she wanted to play around a little. The strength behind the punch was nothing to scoff at. It was probably enough to destroy the entirety of Tokyo, but in the end, physical strength was physical strength.
Nonetheless, Gojo was shocked by how much power was behind it.
The attack didn't reach him and he knew that, but simply looking at the force trapped in the infinite gap was enough for Gojo to narrow his eyes.
He jumped back and prepared again.
Strengthening his body, he crouched down and bursts forward, leaving cracks in the ground. Long surpassing the speed of sound, he arrived in front of Ciel again and infused his cursed technique reversal skill [Red] with the attack again.
This technique did the opposite of [Blue] but as he expected it didn't do anything.
Silently sighing inside his mind, he focused and used one of his last cards.
"[Hollow Technique: Purple]"
This was a non-standard technique which was more potent and destructive than the other 2. It combines [Blue] attraction and [Red] repulsion, to generate a long-ranged singularity where both effects are combined, deleting all matter in existence in front of it.
But Gojo knew that this was still not enough, so instead of normally firing the shot off, he condensed the power around his body for the first time. It was a gamble to see if this would work since he has never been in this situation before, but oh well.
And as expected of a genius, it worked.
Gojo then saw Ciel's raise an eyebrow, before a different type of energy surrounded her. Copying Gojo, she reached out and gave out a punch covered with this.
(So even she can't defend this energy without other help)
Silently laughing inside, he began to regain some confidence and met her fist.
Then, a truly spectacular battle of martial prowess and technique soon followed.

"Hey hey hey chottomatte! Why did you attack me without warning?"
"Because you were sleeping in front of me. It was the most logical way."
"No, it wasn't-"
"Enough chit-chat, let's fight."
Multiple eyes suddenly appeared on Sukuna's face, whilst his smile widened and another mouth appeared.
"[Innate Technique: Cleave]"
"[Innate Technique Dismantle]"
The two attacks sound simple enough, but they were actually really deadly.
Dismantle is a slashing attack normally used for inanimate objects, however it can be used against living beings to great effectiveness, and cleave is a slashing attack that adjusts itself depending on the target's toughness and cursed energy level.
Needless to say, Sukuna, who is regarded as the king of curses, had a lot of cursed energy to spare.
Hundreds of these appeared around Rimuru, who was shocked at how the events has progressed.
(I was sleeping just a minute ago. How did this happen? Where is Ciel anyway? Hmph, she needs more punishment after this.)
His body moved out of the way on instinct, though the blades won't pose any damage.
Sukuna saw this and simply laughed.
(My instinct wasn't wrong, he is definitely very strong.)
He increased the speed and amount of them, forcing Rimuru to let out a sigh before a sword appeared in his hands.
This wasn't anything fancy, it was just a sword made of orichalcum that he had randomly stored in his stomach.
Then, with his superior swordsmanship, he stood in one place and began to deflect the blades.
If one saw this, they would be more than surprised, since he was moving at a godly speed, and each parry carried a flow of elegance only evident to those who trained in the sword for years.
However, Sukuna saw this and was more and more delighted, since he knows that he could finally go all out.
Suddenly, the blades became a little different. Each was induced with fire at an extreme level. Sukuna could manipulate fire and add the heat to the blades.
This made Rimuru's sword deform a bit, since it's quality was quite poor compared to the intensity of the flame.
He merely frowned at this before another appeared that was of much better quality.
Sukuna thought about this.
(So he has some sort of technique that can create material out of nothing. It can't be nothing since that is impossible so he can use energy to materialise weapons.
Interesting...)

"Hey Megumi, the only girl you're allowed to lose to is me!" Whilst walking to a different part of the space, Nobara suddenly called out, causing Megumi to almost stump.
Medea paid no attention and just kept walking with a neutral face.
Regaining his composure, he followed Medea until he couldn't see Nobara and Artoria anymore.
"Begin?" He heard Medea say.
He nodded, but looked in shock as the sky was suddenly full of strange circles. Then, torrents of light rained down upon him.
When he looked in front, Medea was already a distance away from him.
Megumi was always a level-headed person, so he calmly thought of ways to defend against this.
(Escape is no option since it covers such a wide area. I can only defend but which has enough endurance for this?)
Megumi had a technique called the [Ten Shadows Technique]. It is a technique passed down in the Zenin family which Megumi inherited, allowing him to summon up to ten different potential shikigami using his shadows as an intermediary. It also grants the use overall manipulation of shadows, allowing Megumi to hide in shadows or store objects within his own.
Thinking of something, hundreds of rabbits appeared around him in a globe pattern, defending against the onslaught. Although, this was only temporary.
(She uses long-range attacks, so perhaps she is weak in hand-to-hand combat.)
Making up his mind, he dashed forward, still using rabbits as a shield.
Medea seeing this, began to back up and aimed all the circles on him, but still to no avail. It seemed like he was too quick for the magic to reach him, and the rabbits were quite effective. Moreover, it seemed like there was an infinite amount of them.
(I don't want to use any of the skills I was given until the last moment. If I only use the strength I had before I was summoned, would I win?)
This was the thought process of Medea before and during the battle. She knew that if she used the given power, she would no doubt win, but that would defeat the purpose of learning from battle, just as she was told by Artoria.
Even during their spars, both never used their given power, only their own, which caused rapid and effective improvement. Medea wished to do the same here as well.
So she was surprised and on guard when Megumi arrived in front of her. He then put his hands together, and a massive dog appeared.
"[Divine Dog: Totality]"
This was one of Megumi's strongest offensive abilities, enough to even contend against special-grade cursed spirits.
It's fangs aimed at Medea, who then teleported 5 metres backwards, before she waved her hand and torrents of fire fanned towards them.
The fire burnt all the rabbits but Megumi didn't care since he was able to make more. Furthermore, he was already close enough that raining explosions down would do more harm than good for her.
"[Max Elephant]" Huge torrents of water escaped an elephant's trunk. This was also one of the spirits embodied in this technique, able to release huge volumes of water.
Unfortunately, it wasn't enough as the flames didn't go out.
"[Toad]"
Alarmed, he was quickly pulled away before the area he was at became engulfed in flames.
He wasn't unscathed however, since his uniform and his right arm was burnt.
He looked at such an injury, then sighed.
(This is going to be a long day.)

Currently, Artoria was in quite the predicament.
She was used to an honourable battle between two knights, and believed that at least the girl before her would do the same, however she used rather despicable tactics.
As she shouted to the opponent, taking advantage of the distraction she caused, one of her sneak attacks landed on Artoria, causing a nail to be embedded into her arm.
At first, she thought it was just a superficial attack, but eventually she could feel her strength slowly seeping away.
Like Medea, she was limiting her strength to the level before the increase due to being Rimuru's servant, so because of this injury, they were pretty evenly matched.
Her oppenent's way of attacking should be firing nails with strange energy at her using a hammer, and this was surprisingly effective.
Normally, the nails fired at her would be quite easily deflected, but not it's not so sure who would win.
She tried to reduce the distance between the two, but all she could do was deflect these nails. She made next to zero progress.
(This was my fault for being caught off guard.)
"Tsk" After self-mocking herself, she once-again deflected a nail with her sword.
After minutes of this, she found an opening and took advantage of it. Using [Mana Burst], she appeared before Nobara and slashed towards her, but when she cut through her, she was most surprised to see a smile appear on her face.
Backing away, she saw a neatly cut wound across her stomach, but before she had a chance to question her mental state of laughing, she felt some pain, then looked down to see a familiar looking wound appear.
She then looked back and saw a straw doll with a cut across it instead of Nobara, and Artoria finally understood what happened.
(I have been tricked again.)
Controlling her breathing, she forced herself to stop bleeding, then Nobara started to talk.
"It is impressive you were able to stop blood flowing so quickly. You seem to be the noble and knight-like type. Between us, I'd say we are the worst match up."
She explained with a smile, "My innate technique [Resonance] allows my cursed energy to travel to the targets body using a straw doll as an effigy. The first time I struck you, I already got a link between us."
"It seems so. You are correct in the assumption that I am the 'noble' type or whatever you call it. And your technique also seems like what you say it to be. I am impressed by you and also ashamed at myself but lowering my guard to fall for such tricks, but you made some mistakes." She narrowed her eyes quite menacingly.
"Oh? Go on then."
She put up one finger, "one, for this battle, you relied too much on the first attack. If it were any different, you wouldn't stand a chance."
"That's not a mistake, but the truth."
"I suppose it is, however your second mistake is definitely your downfall.
You say that by hitting me with a nail, you have complete control over me with your own body and the straw doll. This may be the case, but this technique would only be valid for me, and only me.
You did not consider the event that there are two of me."
Nobara simply lifted an eyebrow at this, before her eyes opened in horror as something happened before her.
Artoria, her opponent, suddenly changed – no, transformed.
Her once glorious self with silver armour has now changed to black. The once golden sword that shined in her hands has been corrupted, and now it looked like the manifestation of evil. Many dark stripes glided across it, before it completely became black, with red stones glowing.
Black stripes appeared across her face too, and suddenly Nobara felt her connection with 'Artoria' vanish.
The wound was almost no more. It was like she was a completely new person – no, she was a completely new person.
Ever since they started training in here, they have experienced death many times, and developed new skills. Both Artorias found out that they could switch bodies in advance with no drawbacks.
"You should've felt her connection vanish right? It is as she said, or should I say, I said? Greetings, I am known as Saber Alter, or the corrupted version of Artoria Pendragon. Your foolish tactics will not work on me."
As she said that, she disappeared and instantly appeared before Nobara, who was still in shock.
A sword was already nearing her neck.
"Die."
