Chapter 205: Chapter 205: Complete Immunity

Upon hearing Muria's words, the face of the ancient green dragon darkened instantly.

She truly wanted to retreat. The blood clans that had requested their assistance were all in trouble. They were all captured by a demon-hunting knight of the Soul Intent level who wasn't even mentioned in the intelligence reports, and it seemed their prospects were grim.

Then, there was the sudden appearance of this golden dragon. Based on the outcome of the recent battle, it was almost certain that he was the descendant of the Dragon King described in the ancestral memories. His bloodline was of a higher rank than even the ancient dragons.

He made his entrance by crippling the notorious red dragon, Crimson Wing Othrales, using close combat, the specialty of the red dragons.

Next, he bisected four Soul Intent level werewolves who attempted to rescue it, leaving them with little chance of survival.

His ferocious and ruthless demeanor was unlike that of a typical golden dragon. The sheer strength of his combat power instilled a sense of fear in the ancient green dragon.

Now, apart from them, the green dragons, there was no one else capable of fighting.

The werewolves below were merely cannon fodder.

With the dark races besieging Varianthi dead or injured, and the five red-robed archbishops, who had merged with the city's protective magic array, now springing into action along with a group of golden knights and priests, they began slaughtering the werewolves.

Some of the red-robed archbishops even ran towards the location where Muria had crippled the four Soul Intent level werewolves, seemingly intending to do something to these higher-ranking werewolves.

"Can you stop us from leaving?" the ancient green dragon asked with a hint of inexplicable pride after glancing at the uneasy green dragons beside her. She couldn't win, but she was confident she could escape.

"Why can't I?" Muria replied, a hint of mockery in his eyes.

With a clattering sound, a chain that shimmered like a condensed galaxy emerged from the majestic golden dragon, splitting rapidly into hundreds of chains that intertwined to form a large metal net, covering the sky above.

The appearance of the chains instantly alarmed the green dragons, some of whom tried to use spells to escape, only to find that all spells akin to portals failed to work and could not be formed.

"What are you trying to do?" Seeing the sky covered by a radiant net and feeling the space around them sealed, making even the air feel stagnant, the ancient green dragon sensed trouble.

"I just want to keep you all here," Muria said, baring his snow-white dragon teeth.

"Arrogant! You're merely at the second level of Soul Intent, and yet you dare to confront so many of us dragons." An old green dragon of the third level of Soul Intent shouted, venting its fear of Muria under the false courage of numerical superiority.

Muria didn't respond. He spread his wings, swiftly closing the distance to the shouting elderly green dragon. His claw, wrapped in dragon flames and surrounded by lightning, reached out.

With a crackling sound, layer upon layer of magical shields appeared around the old dragon, which had many defensive spells cast on itself. However, they were futile against Muria's claw, enhanced by the Holy Imperial Abyss armor. The shields shattered like paper upon contact.

In the horrified gaze of the elderly green dragon, Muria's claw grasped its neck, causing a cracking sound as the claw deeply embedded into the dragon's neck muscles, severely deforming it and presenting a pitiful sight.

"Release her!" Seeing Muria grasp a Soul Intent level green dragon in a single assault, the other green dragons were shocked and hurled spells at him.

Lightning Storm! Death's Touch! High-Level Curse! Black Flame! Bigby's Crushing Hand!

One spell after another was cast by the green dragons, creating a massive wave of magic rushing towards Muria's magnificent and radiant dragon form, hitting him without any need for aim.

Muria made no attempt to dodge. Amidst the stunned looks from the green dragons, he endured all their magical attacks.

Boom! Boom! Boom! As the colorful, bright spells exploded on Muria, and the elemental clouds from the explosions slowly dissipated, an unharmed golden dragon looked down at them, his mouth opening in what seemed like mockery: "Are you just tickling me?"

Then, turning to the green dragon he held, which now appeared miserable with tattered wings, scales blown away, and even a part of its tail missing, Muria could sense the vibrant life force within it, indicating it could recover soon despite the grievous outward damage.

"All immune?" A young green dragon, watching the majestic golden dragon holding a powerful elder in the sky, felt a chill, as if something was about to emerge.

"Impossible!" The ancient green dragon, seeing Muria unharmed, became somewhat frantic. "Even if you are a descendant of the original Dragon King, you're only at the second level of Soul Intent. How can you be completely immune to our magic? What kind of dragon are you?"

Muria didn't answer. Glancing at the miserable elder green dragon he held, he flung it upwards. The bright chains extended, securely binding the elder green dragon.

This green dragon, still retaining most of its strength, tried to struggle but soon realized it couldn't break free from the chains and remained still.

Given her pitiful state, she decided to quietly accept her fate, as the elder dragon couldn't blame her for not fighting. The most crucial point was that this descendant of the original Dragon King also adhered to the dragons' unwritten rules; without a threat to her life, she couldn't muster the will to fight against him.

With the sound of chains moving, the celestial chains that had blocked the sky and cut off the green dragons' escape routes dispersed into over twenty more chains, targeting the twenty or so golden-level green dragons...
