Everand's face paled at that awful news and his eyes widened in dread.

She met the first one in the orphanage home and they became best of friends before they grew to their teen age and became lovers, his name was Hubert and he was a pureblood warlock.

Much later in the future, Everand's family decided to adopt Valeria and Hubert.

Some weeks after adoption, Everand found out Valeria was his soulmate and Hubert despised him. Long story cut short, one of Dracula's subjects killed Hubert.

Valeria ran away and it was on her way that she came across an old lady who guided her and told her who she really was.

Valeria was later granted a guardian angel to watch over her and guide her, and her guardian angel was none other than the spirit of 'HUBERT'.
