Chapter 2: The Betrayers 1
Amelia stands up from where she was sitting and walks to the end of her office where the glass wall separates her from the world.
"talking can be exhausting sometimes" she muttered to herself as she walks back to her table.
she sat down gracefully and pick up the phone on the table as she dialed a number," Mary, could please send a cold drink to my office, please a very cold one"
"ok, right away ma," the person on the other line said respectively.
"thank you," Amelia said, and then hang up, she massage her head gently before picking up a document and starting work on it.
a few minutes later, a young handsome man comes in with a bottle of cold drink in his hand, he looks at the woman busy working without care about her surrounding in front of him, and a hint of disdain flashes through his eyes even though she looks very enchanting.
"she acts just like the succubus she looks like" he muttered to himself, all of a sudden the look on his face changed to that of a sudden loving lover that hasn't seen his lover for ages.
if anyone saw him at the moment, they will probably get goosebumps at how quickly the young man changed his expression, if he's an actor, he will probably collect an Oscar award.
He walked to the young busy lady and put the drink in front of her, "thank you Mary" she said without looking at the person in front of her.
He leans over and places a kiss on her lips, "you are welcome my lady" he said gently like a caring lover with a gentle and adoring look on his face.
"babe, it's you, "Amelia said with a surprised look on her face.
" I thought it was Mary, why is it you and not Mary" She looked into his eyes with a loving look.
"hmm, so you want Mary and not me, is Mary now your lover, my dear Amelia ?" he said with a questioning look but there was a hint of teasing in his voice.
"of course, not my love, am just surprised to see that Your Majesty is here to serve this humble servant instead of Mary, you should know that you will forever be my only love, it's either you or nobody"
"and also how could you say something like that, you should know that I will never commit adultery especially not with a girl, now am angry, you must make it up to me" she pouted like a spoilt child which is different from her early domineering and majestic aura.
she looks like a spoilt teenager enjoying her sweet time but it's not the same with her lover.
"a lying adulterous succubus, so disgusting," he thought to himself but his face said a different thing.
"of course, I trust you, your royal highness, I know that my baby will never betray me even in front of millions of dollars" he lifts her head and plants a deep kiss on her lips.
"I hope that satisfies you, my lady," he said with a grin as he look at the flashed face of the beautiful lady in front of him, she looks more tempting with her flashed face and rise the heat in him awakening his sleeping demon.
"goddam it, she looks so appetizing, she is a succubus," he thought to himself.
"no, I want more," she said shyly even though she can't bare to look him in the face.
" what a pretentious bitch, I'm sure she acted like a bitch she is with Jordan while she's pretending to be innocent with me," he thought to himself before he start kissing her again.
Albert Hugh was a young hard-working man that was raised by a single mother, he met Amelia at university and fell in love with her at first sight and they have been a couple since then.
He has always supported and trusted her since their university days but now all he felt for her is hatred.
while the two couples are having their sweet moment, Janet walks in as soon as she set her eyes on them, a hint of jealousy and anger flashed through her eyes but she quickly conceals it with a sweet but pretentious smile plastered on her face.
It's hard to believe that such a beautiful sweet-looking angel is the one that made such a vicious look early.
"while you two stop showing off your love at the office, it's so annoying for us single dogs to watch," she said as she smile at them sweetly.
the couples withdraw and others embrace with flashed faces.
" go get yourself a man if you are jealous and it's not like are you not beautiful or capable so just pick one out of your suitors and stop disturbing me and my love," Amalia said with a childish expression on her face.
"Well, it's not that I also want to be single ok, it's just that I also want to be successful like you," she said with a sad look on her face.
"and also do you think everybody is lucky like you who is lucky to have such an amazing man like Albert, most of the guys out there are players, it's hard to see a loyal guy so maybe you should leave me alone for now"
" babe, don't be like that, am sure you will find the right guy soon, and you will surely be successful so don't give me that sad look," Amalia said with a gentle look on her face.
"or maybe you should just give me your company and your man since you love me too much," Janet said with a look of disdain and smirked but Amalia is too blind to notice the look in her eyes.
she laughs hard "Janet you sure jest, come and take them if you are capable but unfortunately, no matter how capable you are my Darling will never leave me even if I give him to you willingly.
Janet didn't say anything and just smirked as she thought to herself "Let's see If am capable or not"
