Chapter 8: bast
Artemis blushed when she felt the breath of bjorn and his hands on her waist. She admitted her loss and pushed away, then glared at him while he smiled and said," so my love, when are we going to our first date?".
Artemis pulled her bow and said," say that one more time and an arrow will dig into your heart", Bjorn raised an eyebrow and said," you lost the bet, I won. Which mean you'll become my lover Artemis".
Artemis shook her head and said," olympus and Asgard aren't in good relations. At most I can say we're nuetral factions without any hatred to each other but the gods of olympus won't agree. Even I myself won't agree to your request".
Bjorn looked at her said with mocking laugh," so the great Artemis is going to break her promise. I don't care who are against it or who approves it. You lost the bet, you need to keep your word as a goddess, Artemis. Or is it that you don't care about your pantheon's honour or does it run in your blood to break your words".
Lightning appeared in the sky while zeus descended and said," asgardian, don't cross the line. You're not strong enough to change the rules yet. You maybe powerful enough to beat best among the main gods. But you're still weak compared to me, the mighty zeus. Go away, when you're strong enough challenge me, defeat me and change those rules. Until then this bet is invalid".
Bjorn looked at zeus with cold expression and then at Artemis he scoffed and said," fine, I'm not strong enough yet, and when I am I'll challenge you. but I won't just defeat you god king of olympus, it'll be much worse".
He said while looking at zeus and Artemis with a cold expression. Then flew away, zeus looked at Artemis and said," go and take rest my daughter. Forget about this bet, it'll never come true".
Artemis nodded with a serious expression and flew to themyscira. Bjorn is angry and flew to other side arriving in Africa. He is now not at the power level of Zeus but when he is, he is going to make the olympus bleed.
Bjorn then noticed another divine power, this although not as strong as zeus but still at a level barely matching Artemis. He flew towards the direction and arrived to see wakanda that still yet didn't properly developed.
Bjorn landed there and started to look around. He is met met with hostility here. Suddenly a man in vibranium armour lunged at him, Bjorn just kicked him away and said,"bast, I'm not here to fight. Tell your worshippers to calm down a little"
Wakandan people immediately drew their weapons in anger. But then a portal opened and a big black panther walked out. It's bast, seeing her all of them kneeled while the black panther asked," what is your purpose of coming here Asgardian?".
Bjorn looked at her and said," nothing, I just wanted to train and take look around in midgard. But something caught my attention, I'm curious about few things", bast has a bad feeling as she asked," what are those?"
Bjorn looked at her and said," are you a member in council of gods", bast looked at him and shook her head, Bjorn looked at her again and asked," is the vibranium a meteorite or you gave them?".
Bast is stunned and said in stutter," of course, it's me who gave it to them. Now go away asgardian you're not welcome here", Bjorn looked at her with a smile and said,"lies", bast growled and looked at him.
Fortunately they're speaking in a different language and her worshippers can't hear a single thing. She looked at him sharply and asked," what do you need? Take it and go away quickly".
Bjorn smiled and said," nothing, a few herbs and their seeds, along with vibranium, give them to me and I'll leave without doing anything", although he has tons of uru from his lottery draw and the mystery box from daily quest but he didn't receive vibranium and adamantium. He wants to research in this metals.
Bast looked at him and roared," you dare to threaten me asgardian. I'll rip you to shreds", Bjorn looked at her with a smirk and said," try me then. But I promise it won't end well for you", he said with a menacing expression.
Bast frowned and her followers became blank one by one until all the wakandan people is in her control, arriving in a trance state. They gathered all the things Bjorn demanded and gave it to him. Tens of herbs, their seeds from bast along with tons of vibranium.
Bast then erased the memory of Bjorn in wakanda and said," now go away, you have what you wanted. Don't disturb me now". She said while Bjorn chuckled and said," don't worry. I have something for you too".
He took out a video game console from the future having hundreds and thousands of games in it. He gave it to her and explained to her about it then flew away. Bast though at first is throwing a tantrum she took it and after she started playing, she liked it very much and continued to play while lying on grass down in her dimension with her humanoid form.
