Chapter 41: Mastering the Extravagance: Blorg's Bizarre Creations
"Hey Blorg," Carl said with a calm voice as Blorg's face appeared on the screen. The green guy was seemingly quite happy with himself. He had spent the last couple of days doing his best to create some new items, and Carl already noticed that some of the things he was wearing were new.
"Heya brother, I saw that you called me, so I figured I should call you back, and see what is going on," Blorg said as he smiled at Carl, who noticed that Blorg's teeth had changed, they were no longer the same, although it was a small difference, he had talked with the green bastard for quite a lot, so he had memorized his face.
"Blorg, your teeth, did you do something to them?"
"Hahahahaha, as expected of you Carl, you noticed right away!" Blorg said with a hearty laugh as he got closer to the camera and showed his fangs. They were longer than before, as well as slightly thicker.
"I changed the fangs, as well as some of the other teeth, but I made sure they looked the same, I only changed the size of the fangs, now they're made out of aletoid, a metal that is incredibly durable and tough to be broken, believe it or not, I can actually bite through even metal with these babies," Blorg said as he smiled at Carl who nodded with a slight sigh.
"Why would you need to have that, I mean, are you planning on going around and biting heroes to death?"
"No, but what if one bastard gets close to me and tried to grab me by the throat, I can bite his hand off easily with this, and that's without even mentioning my other stuff," Blorg said as he showed his new coat, shoulder pads, gloves, and more.
"The coat looks like it's made out of fur, but it's not, look at this, one click and-" Blorg pressed on one area of the cloak, which suddenly made it change shape, as well as change the material it was made out of.
"It's tough stuff, the material is even tougher than the T-Shirt I sent you, by the way, how are my things, you like em?!"
"Yes, I quite like them, in fact, that was why I had called you."
"Ah, no need to thank me, bro, now look at these shoulder pads, now you would think they're here just for protection, but if I want them to, they can do this!"
Blorg smirked as the shoulder pads suddenly opened, showing two pipes inside of them, one thinner, one thicker.
"From this one, compressed air bullets will come out, just like from the gun I made you, but I can also put these special bullets I created inside as well, these babies can penetrate through Kevlar with ease."
"As for the thicker barrels, they're for the mini rockets I have created, don't let their small size fool you, brother, these babies can destroy a tank in one shot, and they're fast as hell, reaching Mach 2."
Carl clenched his hands out of excitement as he continued listening to Blorg and his explanation about the items. The more the guy talked, the more Carl was sure he had finally managed to create normal items, no, not normal, but extremely powerful ones.
If the right person had these, the power they could utilize would be equal to a B-grade, and the mere thought of Blorg not only reaching that strength but being able to make such items in larger quantities made him salivate.
He could see the money rolling in.
He didn't need it, especially now when he knew that Carla was filthy rich and he didn't need to pay any rent, but he didn't want to always rely on somebody else to be financially secure.
His plan was to earn a ton of money, and then buy a building.
He would rent some apartments, and save the penthouse for himself.
That was what he wished to do the most right now, but in order to do that, he would need a lot more money than he currently had.
"These gloves are equipped with a magnetic force chip, now, it's hard to explain how exactly it works, but in simple turns, hundreds of tiny pieces inside these babies will suddenly start moving thanks to the magnetic chip, which will in turn boost the gloves, increasing the speed of which one can attack, the force, and more."
"And this, this is my masterpiece." Blorg suddenly said before grabbing something and showing it to Carl as he zoomed out the camera, making Carl gulp as he stared at the giant sword that Blorg was holding with his two hands. The sword had all the colors of the rainbow, if not even more.
"It's a heavy sword, but with the gloves, and some other parts, I can wield it even with one hand, see?" Blorg asked as he suddenly let go of the sword with his left hand and started swinging it around with his right arm.
The handle of the sword was huge, and it was obvious at first glance that it was more than a simple handle.
"This is the engine, that's where the core is," Blorg said as he pointed at the handle.
Suddenly, he grabbed a piece and pulled it with full strength, which made the sword start vibrating and sounded very similar to a chainsaw.
Well, upon seeing the energy blades that suddenly appeared and coated the sword, which looked razor-sharp by the way, Carl nodded to himself as he was certain that it was indeed intended to imitate a chainsaw, but since Blorg said it was his masterpiece, which previously was the BLG 3021, which stood for 'Big Laser Gun 3021' and was the weapon he used to kill the B-grade hero a couple of days ago.
"So, by activating my baby, the energy blades prop up, this will make it easy for anybody that can wield the sword to cut through steel with incredible ease, hell, steel won't last an instant against it."
"Now, that of course isn't everything," Blorg said as he smiled widely before grabbing the sword and going a bit further away.
He suddenly swung the sword, and a wave of blue light suddenly came out, continued forward, and cut through the wall that was at the back. Blorg swung a couple of more times, and Carl managed to notice that the waves were not the same, some were incredibly thin and actually broke upon touching the wall, and others were a bit thicker and easily went through the wall.
It was about 40 slashes that the wall crashed down, showing Carl that the waves didn't just cut through that wall, but two walls behind it as well.
"Hehehe, see that, I can use sword waves, so even though this is a sword, it can be used as a long-range weapon, the speed of the waves is a bit on the slower side however," Blorg said as he chuckled.
"Blorg."
"Yes, bro?"
"Are …" Carl stopped for a moment and gulped before staring at Blorg.
"Are the sword waves perhaps … dependent on luck?"
"Ahh, well kinda, you see, I wasn't able to really calibrate the engine that well, so the waves will sometimes be weak, sometimes strong, I didn't get lucky as you weren't able to see the strongest wave of sword light, it's so much bigger and stronger than the rest, it would have pulverized these walls, as well as multiple walls behind with ease."
Carl hung his head down.
'Of course, of fcking course.'
'I had my hopes up, he was finally making normal weapons and bam, another slot machine of a weapon.'
"But wait brother, that's not all, there's one more thing it can do!" Blorg said with enthusiasm, prompting Carl to look up.
"Look at this." Blorg suddenly pointed his sword to the front and it started shaking heavily before suddenly, a thin laser beam came out of the tip of the sword.
"Damn it, wasn't lucky this time," Blorg said as he clicked his tongue in frustration.
"Was, was that the laser from the BLG 3021?!" Carl asked in shock as Blorg smiled widely.
"Yes, I actually used the engine of the BLG for this one, I call this sword the BLS 4000"!
"The … the … the Big Laser Sword 4000, you say?" Carl asked with a defeated look on his face, which made Blorg nod to him enthusiastically.
'Oh dear god, why?!'
"Wait, Blorg, the other items, they all function normally, right?"
"Well, define normally bro."
"They're not slot machines."
"Well they're not, they're limited in scope, but the failure is also limited, the gloves will give you more of a boost if you are lucky, and the weakest boost will only improve the speed of your attack by 50%, without increasing the force, if you get lucky, both the speed and force will increase by 350%, and there will be a magnetic discharge at the end, which can do some nice things."
'He, he didn't make any normal items at all, didn't he?'
