Chapter 13: Chapter 11: I got new a job but not not adventurer
I entered the guild It feels so nice here. I look around the furniture and the decorations are so fancy. I could see a lot of people in there. Based on their look I can tell they are all adventurers. They have armour and some equipment like swords. Some carry potions and stuff.
In front of me, some adventurers stay in line. I peeked my head I could see the desk with 5 beautiful girls in a black office uniform. I guess they are the receptionists. They hand a bag to an adventure. Then Adventures put a few gems on the desk. It may be a trade between them. In my mind right now I think it would be so cool if I became an adventurer to slay monsters and get resources to exchange in this guild. I may be level up too. but now it is so boring to wait here until my turn.
I waited for almost one hour I looked at my phone. Now it was my turn I got to the receptionist's desk. One of the receptionists started to ask me "Hello sir, how I can help you? I have never seen you live in this place before, are you new?".
"Yes right. I the traveller. And I want to register to become an adventurer." I replied
"Ohh. Before you register I will ask some questions to get information and test your power to confirm that you can become an adventurer," she said.
"Yes, you can ask any questions you want," I said with joyful face
"First question what is your name? What is your occupation now?"
"My name is Jack Tomson."
"the next question did you defeat any monster before?"
"No, but I encountered one before " I replied
"hmm! About skills what skills did you good at?"
"I am good at combat skills." I lie. I never trained before. If I told her the truth she would not accept me becoming an adventurer for sure. I feel so sorry.
"So now follow me to the test room," she said.
"Huh....!"I spoke in shock. What should I do now? It was the annoying part I hated the most. Test my strengths and skills I don't even have one of these. I may have to rely on luck
"Did you have any trouble?"
"No, I am okay" I replied. I started following her. she reached a room and said, "This is the test room." she walk-in in and Continued to say " For this test, you just need to place your hand on that crystal it already ".

After that, I started putting my hand on that crystal and the receptionist looked from the corner. The crystal starts to glow with white light. It was almost 10 seconds before I left my hand back.
The receptionist turned to me and said "I am sorry sir, we can't accept you to become an adventurer"
"But why?" I am so curious after hearing that. When the thing is smooth why does it turn out to be like this?
"It's because the crystals don't show any efficiency on it. According to our past experiences, there are 5 results. If the light turns yellow it means you are strong and have a large mana, red means your strength and mana are under yellow, and the blue result means it is under yellow then green is the same as above, down one after the other until the lowest one black. But for you, your result is white which means you don't have any kind of skill or techniques to protect yourself if you encounter it. We can't take your life at risk."
"but I want to become an adventurer" I state.
"I know. You need to train and obtain more skills. Come back When you are competent enough. We always welcome you". Then she walked away but she stopped and turned back to me " If you want to earn some money, go to the Bulletin board there is recruitment for tomorrow's festival "
"yes thank I got it," I replied

Now I am in front of the bulletin board. Looking for a job. The job of an assistant has been recruited and has been recruited as well. There is only one still available The Janitor. I pick a post and think. My memories of my childhood remind me of my life in the past world.

bad. This job takes only 5 to 6 hours a day and earns 100 silver per day. One more thing they will give you a bonus for the festival." I used to do this job before. I think it is easy" then leaves the guilds.
(Time skip to the inn)
Now I arrived at the inn. I heard a sound them the backyard. I went there and saw Judi training.
When she saw me she began to speak "Oh Jack! When did you arrive?"
"I just arrived," said then walked to her "Let's take a break you are tired now"
We sit on a branch then Judi says " I have a dream of winning in this fighting festival since I was young. I work hard every day. I have a master who trained me on how to use a weapon, especially this stick was the last gift he gave to me "
"Who is he," I ask her.
"He is my father. He disappeared 20 years ago," she exclaims. Her face can tell me she is sad. I know this feeling because I have had this experience in my past life too. The only thing different about her father he only disappeared.
I didn't want to see her sad like this so I held her hand and said " I know you're strong you will win tomorrow and I know your parent always be with you even if they is here. Don't forget that I am here to encourage you So, please don't be sad."
"Thank Jack but..." she looks at my hand and shouts "CAN YOU STOP HOLDING MY HAND!".
"Ah! I am sorry sorry sorry." I let go of her hand. Then we heard the sound. It was the sound of Judi's aunt calling us. "Hey! You 2 the dinner is ready. let come to eat with us." I came to the house with Judi.
(Unknown girl pov)
a girl in a small building looks at the city and says "WAIT FOR ME! .....MY DARLING"
