Chapter 42: Chapter 42 : Shikamaru's Plan 2
As the grey Snake was countered and almost ripped apart by the sudden emergence of the giant white snake, Orochimaru was dumbfounded.
There is only one person who can summon snakes beside him and that is his own student Anko Mitarashi. So it was really a shock when a giant white snake, only a little smaller than Manda appeared out of nowhere to block his attack.
He didn't even notice either of the boys doing any handsign. Now he was really serious and much more interested. He fought Sasuke before and during that time Sasuke never summoned this giant snake, so there was no doubt about it who did.
"Go Orochi,"
Shikamaru's fifth spirit which he tamed during his training time, Orochi is a very special snake. It can change the size depending on how much Chakra Shikamaru feed him or Orochi himself eats from the enemy. It can even eat chakra Ninjutsu attacks.
Puff.
The snake which Orochimaru summon puffs away after Orochi gives a lethal attack to the snake and even absorbs all of the snake's chakra. Increasing its size. But it was not a noticeable change that Orochimaru can point out.
Narrowing his eyes, Orochimaru moves to dodge the upcoming giant snake. Masterfully performing a replacement, Orochimaru ponders over whether to summon Manda to handle the white snake or not.
Summoning Manda is quite troublesome for him, the damn snake is too demanding when it comes to his sacrifices. Not to mention, summoning a boss class summon to handle two genin, where is his Orochimaru the snake sannin face will go if someone knew.
Apparently being a paedophile is fine over this?
"Fire Style Great Fire Ball Jutsu," a Massive amount of chakra built inside his chest and he sprew out an enormous fireball at the massive snake.
"That's almost 5 times as Sasuke, isn't it," Shikamaru let out an appreciating whistle but didn't do anything. Attacks like this are nothing for Orochi. Even Madara's Great Fire Annihilation was nothing against Orochi.
And just like Shikamaru was expecting, Orochi open his mouth wide in the direction of the giant fireball coming and like a vacuum it eat away the fire like a certain Pink hair battle junky.
"Now I got some fire in my belly," Shikamaru said, helping out his fifth spirit to play the role right.
Both Orochimaru and Sasuke's eyes widen like saucers. They can understand if fire is ineffective against the giant white snake. That is digestable to some degree. But eating their jutsu.
"Shikamaru, wh...what kind of summon is that ?" Sasuke somehow recomposed himself but was still shaken internally and asked.
"I will tell you later, now is not the right time," Shikamaru in fact was dying to explain how cool his fifth summon was but Orochimaru too would know so it was better to keep quiet.
Sasuke, unwilling just nodded, feeling like he was getting more and more frustrated. He worked so hard, so why he is not getting strong? Why does Shikamaru, a lazy ass in the class have this kind of power?
Orochimaru saw the white snake eating away his fireball and narrowed his eyes. Only now does he realise that the white Snake which earlier appeared was not as big as right now.
Previously it was smaller than Manda. But now he was the same or maybe only slightly smaller than Manda. Shikamaru emptied almost 30% of his chakra reserves to summon Orochi at that size, otherwise, it's usually not that big, maybe only a little bigger than his grey werewolf if he doesn't overload the chakra when summoning.
Orochimaru was a Sannin, he saw it pretty quickly that the white snake was eating away the chakra and was growing in size. One thing was sure he couldn't use direct chakra attacks against the snake.
But no matter how powerful the summon is, as long as he can take out the summoner, he will win. Snapping his eyes, at Shikamaru he saw the boy had a little smirk on his face.
Shikamaru slowly walks up to Orochi and puts his hand on the snake.
"SWOOP."
The moment Shikamaru's hand contacted the Whitesnake, it vanished like it never existed in the first place.
"Oi Shikamaru, what happened," Sasuke was the first one to shout upon the disappearance of the white Snake.
"Nothing, Orochi's purpose is to serve so I let him go," Shikamaru said as he felt his chakra reserve coming back. After dispelling his spirit a little chakra comes back to him. Maybe around 30% of the summoning chakra. He can't say precisely.
"Boy, would you mind if I asked from where you got the snake summoning contract ?" Orochimaru was angry but he was never the person who couldn't handle his own anger. And he was more curious than angry right now.
"Hmm, who knows? But I believe that this is not what you should be concerned about right now. You have after all fallen for my trap," Shikamaru grinned with a little excitement on his face.
This was the first time he was gonna use the full capabilities of his 200+ IQ.
Orochimaru who was about to repute at Shikamaru's claim stopped as he felt the chakra beneath him.
Boom.
He instantly replaced himself with a clone and got out of there, "HIdden Explosion Tags," Orchimaru sneered as he appeared on top of a tree.
But Shikamaru eyes were still relax. Like he knew that Orochimaru would appear there. Before Orochimaru's battle hardens sense can sense it, another explosion takes place at the tree he was standing but unlike before, this is strong and is followed by more explosions.
Sasuke saw this with a little confusion before he got it, " You plan this, you expected where he goona appear ?"
"Yup," Shikamaru just agreed, knowing fully well that those explosions were not even close to putting Orochimaru down, but he wasn't done with just those explosions.
