Chapter 83: Tower of Heaven (5)
~Third POV~
After the situation deescalated the people turned back to normal again with Erza's former friends tied up with Natsu, Gray, Happy, and Juvia surrounding them.
There was a tense atmosphere with Erza's former friends tied up by ice-made chains and shackles before getting straight to the point as Erza started, "Why did you guys come here to capture me and Silva?"
They remained silent before Simons found a chance to speak out causing the other 3 to look betrayed by his words, "We originally came with the purpose of capturing both you or Silva to the Tower of Heaven. It's finally completed after 8 years of building it."
Erza was startled by the news with the rest remaining confused but remaining silent letting Simon speak as the other 3 voices out his deny his statements, "Jellal wanted to capture either Erza or Silva as planned. Or if proves too much capture one of her love interests to force her or him to come to the Tower. Either way one of you will surely come rescue the other."
Silva merely glared at that while mentally commenting on the idea Jellal had if it had worked, 'Not bad idea. Seems like he did his homework…'
Lucy voiced clearly disgusted by such an action but remained confused about what the Tower of Heaven truly is, "That's just the worst! You guys were Erza's friends, but you go ahead and try to kidnap her for this Tower of Heaven?!"
Sho shouted at Lucy clearly belittling Jellal's work with a growl on his face towards Erza's new friends, "Shut up!! Jellal will show us to heaven! The moment when Jellal brings that man back to life… the world will be born again!! And we will control that new world!!!"
Expressing a maddening face unable to speak the truth was about to go on a rant, "The remnants – Mhph! Hmh? HMPH!!!"
However, Silva stopped that immediately gagging Sho with a used nearby towel responding to the group in an annoyed tone, "Yeah… no. Please shut up if you keep your delusions to yourself kid? Let the adults do the talking. Now then what's this about reviving someone?"
All nodded their heads as Wally and Millianna kept their mouths shut but Simon replied in a serious tone, "It's the R-System that Sho was talking about. It's a very forbidden type of Magic that Jellal plans to use on Erza..."
Erza then explains to the group what the R-System really is with expression of sadness shown telling the group of that forbidden magic, "The R-System or known as the Revive System. You sacrifice one person's life to bring one other person back to life. It's a forbidden type of Magic that breaks the laws of humanity."
The group was shocked to hear such a Magic Tool that power was created Natsu clinches his fist in anger realizing what they intended to do, "And you guys were thinking of using Erza as a sacrifice for your goal of bringing back one dude!! She's our friend!! Like hell will let you punks do that!!"
Justifiably angry Simon responded causing the group to pause surprising everyone even himself at the words spouted out, "Never I would do that to Erza. I was hoping to capture her and then free her in the Tower of Heaven to stop Jellal's crazy actions. I doubted what Jellal said to us was true you got drunk off your power – Huh?"
Silva smirked revealing his Magic Tool Judgement Field expressing himself happily of Simon's actions and intent proved to all his group, "What we all heard was nothing but the truth folks. With my Magic Tool Judgement Field, everyone is forced to comply to say nothing but the truth while in this sphere. It's great to hear at least one of Erza's friends still believes in you right?"
She smiled lightly listening at least one of her friends believed in her not running away but it was also when Silva spoke out of handily the next words causing her eyes to widen, "You know since we are in a magical sphere that tells the truth? You could persuade your friends of the truth you know judging by lies they've been fed? You know personally what motivates them and Jellal ain't here to pull any strings. Now's a good time as any if you ask me."
The idea of confessing the truth seemed to click in Erza's mind seeing an opportunity to do so with everyone listening under the truth with a light nod, "Thank you… Sho. Millianna. Wally. Simon. It isn't what you all think… Jellal has been lying to you all this time. He said that if I came back, he would kill you Sho."
Erza began to explain her exile from the island they now called home. From her point of view finding Jellal, found him twisted by the tortures he had received and Zeref, trying to persuade him but earning only a hollowed threat and exile.
When she finished her story, a tense silence filled the room before Millianna voiced out conflicted unsure looking at her friends, "Myaa…. Guys, do you think what she says really happened…?"
Simon began voicing his thoughts agreeing with Erza along with his own doubt listening to Jellal's side of what happened expressing a soft smile on his face proving wrong, "Erza is right. Jellal has been deceiving us… using us… for all these years. That was obvious to me from the beginning. Why would Erza destroy the boat before escaping… I believed in you from the start, Erza. And continued to believe for these 8 years."
The group soon reconvened listening to the news as Silva let go of the gag on Sho having an emotional breakdown as they settle back again being friends with Silva along with the others having their moment.
Natsu speaks out clearly angry at the news grunts his teeth that Jellal is after Erza, "Tch! That Jellal jerk is gonna pay for trying to harm our friend!"
To that, the rest of the Fairy Tail members agreed as Silva remained calm taking out Rongo Rongo and looking for directions Gray noticing his actions spoke to him, "Silva aren't you the least expressive in this situation here?"
*Drip*
Contrary to what Gray expected Silva remained calm and collected but a noticeable clenched fist on his hand opened up dripping blood as he finally spoke in a restrained tone, "Whoops? Seems like I accidentally bleed myself thinking when I get my hands on Jellal. I try to be calm now and show my anger when we meet or vent for causing Erza this much discomfort."
Sensing his emotions Gray nodded with Silva taking a deep breath finally responding but then Erza soon asked them to leave much to the group's shock, "No… I want you guys to go home. I can't let – "
However not able to handle Erza's words Silva brought his anger to its boiling point and conducted a Maka Chop to Erza's head, "YOU IDIOT!!!"
*BONK*
Another series of shocks unfolded as Silva chopped her head causing her to be in pain and genuine confusion about being at the other end of being punished with Gray and Natsu gulping thought, 'Yup. Silva screwed himself!! Why provokes the lioness!!!'
Rubbing her head from genuine shock in pain Silva pouts clearly voicing his words directed at her for even trying to dissuade them from leaving, "Like hell, we would!! I don't know what got into your head trying to go after the punk and making us leave but to hell with that!! When one goes after a member we fight as one no martyr or going for self-sacrifice kind of shit!!"
Erza soon looked at Silva about to rebuttal again attempting in her own way to dissuade them from going, "No. What I want is you all –"
*BONK*
Another bonk to her head forces her to actually relent Silva angered by her words tries to get them to leave voicing out in an emotional tone, "Keep on saying that leave us here and I will continue to beat some sense into you!! The guild and the members might be afraid of retaliation but not this guy. I'll keep on doing it till you see reason Erza!! Erza… It's not about whether it's impossible or not, I'm doing it because I want too. It's only our lives, why shouldn't we put them on the line? We're friends right?"
Recoiling from him chopping her head he directs her to see Lucy, Natsu, Gray, and Happy gazes as Gray smiles nodding in agreement with Silva's words, "Now that's a way with words Silva could do better without slugging her but you heard the guy Erza. We ain't leaving you behind."
Lucy sighs at his actions but also voices in agreeing with Silva's words risking their lives on the line, "Sigh… Silva, you really have to keep your emotions in check… but I would be wrong if I didn't feel the same way as he does."
Natsu merely grins having his fist on fire already agreeing to join with Happy by his side against Jellal, "Now that's what I'm talking!! No one messes with Fairy Tail or their members and gets away with it!! I don't care how tough this Jellal guy is his toast!!"
Happy comically agrees next to Natsu with his usual trademark, "Aye sir!"
Erza couldn't help but look sadly for trying to have her friends away with this before muttering out to them, "You all are foolish and stupid people. The stupidest group of people I ever had meeting…. but people that I would call my friends to come by my side in my time of need."
Simon viewing this agrees with a curt nod expressing his idea of going against Jellal in a severe tone, "I've been waiting all this time for this moment. For the strongest Wizards to finally gather here."
Like that Simon began to express his plan to the group listening in to the plan of what needs to be done with Silva inputting his own thoughts with a sadistic smirk, "Sounds good. But we can do better… has anyone ever heard the term the trojan horse tactic?"

"Jellal-sama!"
Listening to the sound reports of Jellal's attendant a mildly muscular man of average height distinguished by his extremely long black hair, which reaches down far below his feet, is parted in the middle and has two bangs reaching down below his waist framing his face. He has a large hooked nose and hairy eyebrows pointing upwards in spikes. His donned a simple attire consisting of a sleeved shirt paired with plain armbands, pants, gloves and shoes.
This man is Vidaldus Taka a Mage who is a member of Trinity Raven, an elite squad of highly revered Assassins in Death's Head Caucus, a prestigious dark group under the command of Jellal.
Reporting to Jellal of the recent events happening from Simon misleading him of what's happening, "We've received word that Erza and Silva's capture was a success. And that they are heading this way."
Jellal holding his chin with his hand smiled confusing Vidaldus significantly at the cause of his actions done, "But… why would you want that traitor now? You're a man of your magical prowess, it should be easy work to finish them off?"
"Haha…"
"Sir?"
Hearing laughter coming off from Jellal's mouth it soon became a burst of full-blown laughter causing Vidaldus to be confused about Jellal's laughter, "Hahaha! That would never do. This world is simply no fun!! However, now that the Tower of Heaven is complete… it would, only cause problems if we allow her to live any longer."
Leaning back to his throne-made chair Jellal makes a cruel smirk spread across his face in glee, "The time has come! You will become a sacrifice upon the altar of my ambition… Erza Scarlet!!! I wish for you to see utter despair with your love interest to witness the pain!!!"
Feeling confident as the darkness of the night spreads across the land at that time Jellal and the mastermind behind Jellal control using Possession Magic Ultear everything is becoming closer into place of their goals of reviving Zeref.
Unaware though that Simon's call was false with the intention of using the trojan horse tactic that Silva suggested put into action along with other critical actions once they land on the island…
