Chapter 7: The first Night as Diablos 1/2

Through the flying sand giant plate's of armor moving in and out of the sand with massive horns peeking out, " I got spotted by one person and now I bet the whole kingdom knows about me, theirs no way the would just let a monster like me be this close the kingdom they live in."

As the Diablos would dig through the sand as if it was as easy as breathing, the victims of it's first battle would bring more trouble to him as their corpse would be left out in the sun boiling the flesh and cooking it, leaving it to waft it's scent into the air as the sun slowly vanishes inviting anyone who hungers to fill themselves.

And fill they did, from the skies came griffins from a long flight they would smell such a delicacy and fly down onto the cool sands softly as though the sand would still burn their talons and claws, lowering their heads as if they bowed to the themselves in gratefulness they would bring their beaks and rip the fur filled sand off the Chimera's body and launch themselves into the cooked flesh gorging themselves like pigs, as though this meal would vanish if they did not eat first.

While they gorge themselves one of them would notice what looks like a small sandstorm arriving towards the area, lifting it's head the eyes of the griffin would look deeper into the sandstorm as if it was zooming in like a camera, it would see something moving in the sandstorm, tips of a pair of horns always peeking in and out of the sand.

The griffin would lift up it's frontal body and open it's beak and * SCREERAH* having vibrated it's throat in a certain way that would alert the others, lifting their heads as blood covered their feathers and beak, licking up the blood covering its nose it would fly up with its wings and float up in a stationary position looking into the small dust storm and seeing that it leads a trail the griffin would dive itself into the front.

*THUD* "Not this again I hope it's not those chimera's again" The Diablos would breach from the sand lifting itself and clawing the rest of his body out of the sand, he would swing his horns to push sand outward in hopes that the sand would blind them and to increase the chance while moving the rest of the sand away he would flap his wings once pushing the rest of the sand away from the area showing his new attackers.

As the sand blew away it revealed Dark talons covered in blood staining the sand while also revealing the robust body covered in feathers dripping in small amounts of blood, as the head cawed at the Diablos moving forward and prowling around him with its flock starting to fly above them and circling the both of them.

"Not this again, it's another group of them and it's griffin's, at least with the chimera's they would be on the ground but now I have to look out from both the sky and ground and this time it's just six of them so maybe the fight should end soon" slowly he lifted his head up to the heaven's once more and.

*GGRRROAAAR* Stunning the griffins eardrums and having them falter for a moment but able to shake it off the griffins in the sky would have 2 of them pounce downward to the ridge area once again going to the spot that hasn't heal yet digging into the ridge and making the spot bleed once more.

Feeling pain once again he would fall into a rage and rush the griffin circling him having the griffins on his push their claws inside of him further to hold on, while the griffin on the ground would dodge the rush and would slash his legs with the talon on the front of it.

While the battle would happen down below on the ground the griffins in the sky would keep a look out to make sure no other would interfere with the battle. After having his mad rush dodge the Diablos would immediately start to digging downwards blasting sand all over the desert, the two griffins would rip small bit of flesh off of him causing him to bleed even more but having the bleeding spot be covered in rugged sand.

The three griffins would start to flap their wings in a effort to get off the ground but he would dig as fast as he could towards them disrupting their take off for one of them, the griffin that was disturbed from his take would never fly again, as the Diablos would pierce the griffin from his hip to the middle of his chest piercing the griffins mana core, covering his view with the corpse of the griffin having to throw its body by swinging his head with the force liking to smashing ice.

"One down, five left."
