Chapter 14: Hunting for Points as a Diablos 1/2
As he glided towards his home he would be lost in his thoughts "Points I need more Points, If I can get more points I won't have to worry about dying to some random nobody"
He would scan the world below him like a machine, taking in the view but also noting whatever could stand out, but mostly taking in the view. Seeing the wide desert expanse and watching as the sand would tumble across each other.
Soon he would spot his victims. At least five Chimeras looking for prey to eat and fill their gullet. As he slightly tilted to the side a thought would come to him like Zeus finding a new victim for his love.
"Oh, My, God, I can do a Bazelgeuse, all I have to do is just roar and dive bomb them and I also won't break my horns because I'll immediately be under the sand and then I can rise up and pierce them from underneath."
Having the plan formulated he would fully turn towards the poor chimeras and furl his wings as close to a circle as he could, Increasing the speed he would arrive at towards the Chimeras.
A shadow in the distance was coming closer and closer, one of the chimeras would see it, the oldest one of the pack thinking it was those griffins would let out a noise * SCRACH* letting the other chimeras know to look upwards to the skies, but it would be too late.
Like a comet coming from Jupiter, As though he was thrown like Hephaestus from mount olympus by Zeus with a fury. He slammed into them Crushing three of them like Atlas crushing a child, The chimeras body parts would be smushed or scattered across the sand.
Once the Diablos would touch the ground he would rapidly dig through the sand not even noticing the moment he landed the Diablos created a localized sandstorm. As he fully went underground he would use his ears to the fullest hearing only one chimera moving.
The chimera that was moving was the oldest one once again but this time trying to run or find the monster but soon he would die too, not being able to see because of this sandstorm he not notice as cracks formed underneath the sand towards him and *SQUELCH* the chimera's body would be hoisted in the sky.
The Diablos would swing his head with enough force to have the Chimera body fling itself onto sand. The Diablos would lift his head through the sandstorm and see the last chimera completely blank in its eyes.
He would walk towards the chimera seeing it not even register him, he would slowly turn around and lift his tail to smash its head and give it freedom from its life.
*SMUSH* The tail would slam down upon the chimera and lift up slowly and he would wonder "Why was it like that? Was it like a cub or something? But it looked fully grown, Maybe." he would turn towards the scattered corpses and see a little yellow leaking out of a body.
"Oh no wonder, that was his lover and she was pregnant, huh I don't feel as good about getting points. Maybe I should like wait a bit before hunting for points"
Once again he would be lost in his thoughts looking into the distance.
