Chapter 7: Out of the orphanage and meeting with a fox

[Kei Uzumaki's POV]

I stood in front of the matriarch as I looked into her eyes full of hatred and what seemed to be fear. I looked at her and immediately knew what was coming.

It was going as I had planned, but a part of me couldn't help but dislike that look in her eyes. It was the same stare I was accustomed to from my peers in that institution.

I looked to my side, seeing a child with blonde hair and bright blue eyes now hold a level darkness within them. I noticed the tears that threatened to spill out in his eyes as he looked at me. I felt something strange from his look like a tinge of an emotion I buried long ago trying to resurface.

"Well, Naruto, let's go. If they don't want us here, then I'm sure it's for a reason." I spoke up, attempting to reassure my brother as I turned to face the matriarch and glared at her.

"And whatever reason you might have for this, then I hope it's worth sending two 3 year olds to live out on the streets." I was surprised to hear a hint of anger in my usually emotionless tone.

I held out the palm of my outstretched hand towards Naruto. Inviting him to grasp my hand and hold it as we both turned away from the orphanage.

I started showing Naruto the way to our new house as I started thinking about what happened before we left.

I knew I felt something then, but I didn't think I had felt anger in a way that I could unconsciously change my tone from it.

It made me wonder if I should try and regain my lost emotions or not now. But my computer, like the brain, denied having them. But at the same time, I noted that a small part of me wanted them back.

A desire to become human once again.

Those thoughts filled my being as I walked hand in hand with Naruto.

I arrived at a plain but decently sized house, which held 3 floors all together. I had long since let go of Naruto's hand so I could get the key to go inside as well as Henge into my adult form. The supposed owner of this house.

I was also glad that it was out of the way of any people seeing as the house was located in a pretty inconspicuous place.

[Naruto Uzumaki's POV]

A small meadow of flowers laid out in the golden morning light filled with various colours that surrounded my new home. I felt a sense of excitement course through my body as I looked out at the field.

Of course, I also felt a sense of wonder as I looked at my normally expressionless sister, who has been nothing but kind to me. She managed to become that tall and look so different that it made me wonder how she did it. Was that a Jutsu? If so, how did she learn it?

Questions like that plagued my mind as I decided not to ask about it. Instead, I chalked it up to my It's Nee chan, so it isn't weird thought process. In hopes that my questions would disappear.

Initially, when we first got to know each other and I learned that she was my sister. I was admittedly terrorfied of those blank empty violet eyes and expressionless face. But over time, I learned that underneath those eyes was my trustworthy and caring nee chan. She just couldn't show emotions.

'Except for that one time.' I thought to myself as I recalled that small yet beautiful smile she gave that one day. How she looked so proud of me at that exact moment.

I resolved myself as I made myself a promise.

Make my nee chan smile again.

[Kei Uzumaki's POV]

I looked around my new house. Starting from the living room. It was furnished with a red sofa with a small CRT TV across from it with a small round coffee table near the sofa. The room was spacious and, as such, contained a few large bookshelves in it containing a large number of books I bought with a small amount of my profits.

I had honestly expected my idea not to do this well. Yet here I am now a millionaire. I almost chuckled at the thought.

I also already knew about everything here as I had quite literally bought this place yesterday and gave the house furniture. Yet, I wanted to see Naruto's expression on my perfected designing skills when it comes to anything.

Something I learned to do thanks to Nenecchi.

I paused there as I thought back to my time at ANHS, which was where I died due to a terminal illness I had. I let out a thin chuckle as I thought about it.

I started walking again as we arrived at my room. It simply had a bed with a black quilt and pillow with a white duvet. In the corner of the room laid a big desk with 2 draws on it that contained various writing supplies in them. I also had a smooth leather based office chair that I will use when writing. In my room laid a monotonous black and white carpet symbolising Yin and Yang. Of course, my room also contained bookshelves and a cupboard. Its walls were dyed a purplish sapphire like colour.

Next came Naruto's room, which was more lively in its appearance. A vibrant orange filled the room's carpet as an oceanic blue like colour spread across the rooms walls. The bed contained a yellowish orange duvet with a sky blue quilt and pillow. Of course, his room contained a desk I was planning him to use for studying purposes. As well as a bookcase that was smaller than most containing books that Naruto will study next.

I continued the tour for Naruto for a while before I left him to his own devices. After that, I prepared myself for yet another harsh workout in my new gym room.

[Third-person POV with Yin Kurama]

Inside the seal, a gigantic being watched curiously as the child he was sealed muttered cold words. Words that made his own fur spike upwards in fear.

("I did not care. I didn't care about these people. Nor do I care about Naruto at all."). The voice he heard dripped with an ice cols venom that could kill anyone who heard it. His fur stood upwards as the fox himself wondered how she got like this.

("At the end of the day, as long as I had my victory, nobody and nothing else matters."). The tone he heard made him question a lot. He was full of hatred as the Yin half of himself was sealed in the other child, Naruto.

("It doesn't matter what is sacrificed it does not matter the method because in this world, only winning matters."). Her tone stayed as cold as it did, but now it scared him as he realized that he wasn't sealed in a regular person.

He was inside a monster, and Kei's next thought made him realise this even more.

("All people are nothing but tools to for that one express purpose. Winning.") He realised that he wanted to talk to her at one point soon just because this thought process intrigued him. Immensely intrigued him.

And in the day that his container was getting kicked out of the orphanage, he felt a flicker of anger rise in his container that he utilised to connect of his own. This should allow for a meeting between the two of them eventually.
