"Alright, I will take care from here then"
Cael used his Clairvoyance to search the entire forest actively. His passive sense is sight is just a 5-kilometer radius 360° still growing but his active search spans several tens of kilometers of radius.
"Hmm? A place that is connecting to a different era?"
He is surprised to find an area that is a mystery.
"Is it related to Wandering Sea? Aren't they supposed to be on some islands or something?"
Mages Association is divided into 3 branches.
Clock Tower, Atlas, and Wandering Sea.
Wandering sea is a branch that is entirely outside the space-time stream.
The only thing that exists in this era that is related to the wandering sea is the Five Gates of it.
Even if the five gates are destroyed, it will be only a minor inconvenience for them, as only the entrances of this era are destroyed.
Hell, even if the entirety of humanity has been erased, they won't care. Because they are outside Reality.
Those of wandering sea are firm believers that modern humanity won't ever reach magic hence they closed themselves trying to stick to magecraft of the age of gods.
"The sketches are glyphs of magecraft"
Cael teleported to the place and saw the temple which has carvings.
"It's interesting that I can comprehend a mystery that is probably related to the age of gods"
He entered the temple, he was already aware of all the traps in the temple with his clairvoyance.
As he observed the glyphs, he began to read them.
'The sins of my past lie here,
Here I carry the burden,
the price for the ultimate betrayal,
without ever eroding to time
Serving my eternal punishment'
"Great, So I'm trespassing in the grave of some Big shot, isn't it?"
The temple or now the tomb is present outside reality at the same time with reality, allowing one to feel the flow of time but the tomb is frozen in the tomb.
"The outside is like a Mayan temple but it is a tomb, a cleverly hidden one and it seems I will forget once I get out of this place"
He didn't stop and went directly into the temple, he saw what looked like magic circles of the past.
Entering the core of the tomb, he saw a mummy-like set up in the middle of the core. Surrounding it are skeletons of people, probably explorers.
"This place is filled with curses"
"Isn't it? I was such a bad ruler, I deserve this"
A voice in the Portuguese language sounded throughout the tomb.
"Are you the owner of this tomb?"
"Yes, traveler. I was once a great ruler, a wise man I tho-"
"Stop acting like you are some good guy, I don't care about your flashback and you absorbed these skeleton's memories and soul, right? you are retarded to reply to me in modern Portuguese when you are a bloody ghost from the Age of Gods, you didn't even bother to destroy their clothes "
There is a brief silence and then, a sinister voice is heard "Hehe~, What an intelligent thing, you must be a brat from my age to resist my compulsion but that doesn't protect you from me"
'So, he's actively casting the spell' Cael thought and then he asked "You know I can escape from here if I want to right? Even if you can use Magecraft, you are still stuck inside your Coffin."
"Hehe~, there is only entry to the place. There is no exit. This tomb is in an isolated space-time, you cannot enter the space-time stream again"
Although the sinister voice sounded extremely serious and bloodthirsty.
Cael thought 'Why am I getting stuck in these types of situations, this guy's spirit is degenerated slightly. So, he's a cursed spirit of some kind. The same happened with Daphne's husband, what a pain'
"Since you have modern knowledge, Fuck you knock off mummy"
Cael entered his Reality marble escaping the Tomb.
"What a waste of time but...existing outside of reality and space-time stream. What an interesting concept. What If I add a paradox concept to it?"
Cael observed his reality marble. He immediately got to work. Since, there is no time here, even if he worked for eternity. Not even an instant will pass in reality.
Finally, after some experimenting. Cael made his reality exist out of world and space-time by creating a paradox with his reality marble.
He placed his reality marble in the imaginary space of the Visionary of the moon and then saved the Visionary of the moon inside the Reality marble creating the paradox.
Making the reality marble exist nowhere in reality or reverse side, hence erasing its presence inside the world.
The world consists of many textures like reality, the reverse side of the world, etc.
"It's a pity I couldn't reach root with it. I should theoretically reach root since I'm outside the confines of the world but I couldn't do it. This infinite Cosmos of my reality marble is my new confines preventing me from reaching the root"
"Welp, now I can observe the world in different eras, is this how Solomon and the magi of the Wandering Sea felt?"
Cael warped back to the place outside of the temple. Nixie and Efreet appeared and asked at the same time "Where have you been?"
Cael who is amused asked, "Why do you ask?"
Efreet knowing Cael is just toying with them shouted " Don't act like you don't know, your presence just disappeared from the world itself. Ugh! I'm supposed to be having fun toying with you, why are you so unpredictable?!"
"It's just a part of an experiment and it is successful"
"So you are going to vanish from now on?" Nixie asked.
"I want to take you guys there but I don't know if you could stay there since you are Earth attributed"
Efreet "Are you talking about somewhere outside space-time? "
"Sharp as ever, yes. It's outside the reality" Cael praised, Efreet is a smart one.
"Then you don't have to worry. We are pretty much yours now. So, we can come with you everywhere, our blessings Won't be lost even if we leave this world"
Efreet explained.
"Got it, I will take you there after we returned to Scotland" He promised, even he want to see if they'll stay frozen in time or if they can move since they are part of him.
'But, what I gained this time is almost zero. So, Not every encounter is fortunate'
He lamented and continued his search across the forest and quickly found the place with high spirit energy.
He teleported there and what he found is a Giant tree, it's not standing out because other giant trees are surrounding it.
On one of the trees, a green Wolf's head manifested with vines and began talking with Cael.
"You found me real quick, I give my praise for that"
"You must have known why I'm here then?" Cael asked directly.
"Yes, the elemental stone? Isn't it?"
'Damn, I was just joking, I didn't think it will know. Is this spirit related to Gaia? Efreet did say, it is superior to other nature spirits. Won't be surprised if Gaia is favoring this spirit more'
"It makes things easier. Yes, I'm here for it"
A vine manifested with a rock on it which levitated towards him and placed it in his hands.
After receiving it, Cael asked, "So, what's the catch?"
