Cael woke up, feeling heavily restricted. He looked around to see his homunculus working on him.
Cael sighed "So, The backup plan worked"
Using telepathy, he communicated with Alpha.
"Alpha, give me the report"
Alpha immediately replied " Yes, Master. Your psyche doesn't match your brain. That's the only anomaly we found, though we cannot find the reason for such activity"
"It's the combined effect of Haleth Luck draining spell and God's Madness"
Cael created the spell fearing the unknown aftereffects of Haleth's luck spell.
He created a spell that will refill his luck slowly.
Simultaneously, he created another spell that will bind him and summon his homunculus to take care of him in a coma-like state till he recovered enough luck.
The Madness inflicted by God is an unexpected factor.
"I didn't expect that it will lead to suicidal thoughts but..."
Cael didn't feel his emotions to be false.
'That weakness is true, I shouldn't limit my power or ambition by being stronger than everyone else around me and feel content about it. It is a weakness, I should be stronger, stronger than what my past self is. I shouldn't just stop at obtaining stronger magecraft or True Magic'
With a new found determination, Cael decided to change his game.
"First, I should get rid of the authority that Great Old one have over me. Alpha, new orders, release me from my suspension and If I act abnormally. Seal me again with the help of remaining homunculus"
"Understood" Taking the orders, Alpha and the rest of the team released him from his suspension.
Cael then sealed the room with every back up spell he could think off incase he had gone mad or something went wrong.
After trials and research, he found the authority of Great Old One effect in his Ichor. Not a surprise, considering he had used Divine organ of Outer god to create his Ichor.
He removed it from his Ichor. Initially, he feared losing his reality marble but it's a sacrifice he's willing to make. Fortunately, he didn't lose it.
Just to be safe, he underwent various tests.
Alpha who examined Cael once again confirmed it "Master, the Anomaly is cleared. You are once again healthy now. As an occasion to celebrate, would you like me to arrange an all homunculi Orgy"
"I'm now committed, Alpha. Delete all the sexual and pleasure functions in all homunculus"
"Understood, Master"
He still has to worry about the Blessings of the outer god, that is Arcane Magic.
'Is it okay to have it? Can the outer gods control me with it? I couldn't use it only against the outergods. So, there's that. Also, the source of this blessing is not the Outer Gods themselves but the root. In the first place, why is an Outer God allowed on Earth?'
Arcane Magic is practical and his ace in the hole after his staff, Visionary of Moon.
It will save his life even if he encountered impossible situations.
The only exception to the Magic is an Outer Gods and he's sure he won't encounter them because encountering a higher being like heroic spirit itself is extremely rare.Let alone Gods and Outer gods.
Cael used the Eye of Enlightenment to look into the past to see the origin of the Blessing and if the Outer Gods really have control over those who have the Arcane Magic.
In the past, while the elves are traveling from Mars to Earth through the Void. Some elves that have mystic eyes have seen the outer Gods.
Outer Gods have a rule, if you notice them, you will be noticed by them kind of like Abyss saying.
The polluted elves went mad but worshipped the outer gods at the same time.
Outer Gods believed they created Earth and has dominance over it. They actually belong to another universe.
So, They do not have access to Earth. They cannot come to Earth by their will alone.
Once they have seen Elves going there during the Age of Gods. They decided to use them as anchor points to enter the Earth.
To the most devoted worshippers , the Outer Gods gave them blessing.
Since the elves are already connected with Root the moment they are born with. They have no need for any powers.
The worshippers are also Mad and are useless if they are not functional.
Hence, the Outer Gods simply gave them Reality warping and some sanity. Since the Gods themselves exist outside Reality, it doesn't affect them.
This woke up some worshippers who began to rebel because they realized the outergods are just using them to enter the Earth.
The worshipping Elves already succeeded by letting Cthullu enter the Earth, however the sane elves stopped the ritual midway.
Which, let a small portion of Cthulhu summoned on Earth. It is not his true form, still he's strong enough to be a God at that time.
He made a contract with Gaia becoming the Great Old One, the weaker version of his true Outer God self, essentially placing Shackles on himself in hopes of one day summoning his true self and other outer Gods to Earth.
During this time, The Outer God worshippers are Culled by other Elves.
One of them, an ArchMage type worshipper Elf escaped, changed the blessing into the 28 magic circle system and Eye of Enlightenment to Cast the spells and communicate with Outer Gods in the past to pray to them.
He passed this blessing as 'Arcane Magic' to normal Magician elves who he took as apprentices.
However, before he could reveal the true purpose of the Arcane Magic to his apprentices.
He's culled as he caught worshipping the Outer Gods but he didn't mind it as he thought, his apprentices would view the Glory of Outer Gods with the 'Eye of Enlightenment' and worship them like he did.
"He's Insane! well, he did prayed to them. It makes sense"
After seeing the origin of the Origin of its Magic, he has to praise that Archmage, he has disguised the blessing well.
"So, I can't change the Arcane magic without being a True Magician. For now,I am safe with Arcane Magic. It just won't work on Outer Gods. Or anyone that is outside the Universe. Now then, the next course of action "
After determining he returned to normal. Cael decided on his next plan of action.
He gained a lot of knowledge related to Magic as he observed the life of Archmage and other Magicians of past. He decided to use that knowledge.
He used Visionary of Moon to create three materials.
Pure Holy Mana, Pure Demonic Mana and and the Concept of Empty vessel.
He then, cast an Absolute Balancing and Unification spell with Arcane Magic on the Concept of Empty Vessel.
He then filled the Concept of Empty Vessel with Pure Holy Mana and Pure Destructive Mana.
With the Effect of Absolute Balance and Unification. The both opposing Mana unified into Pure Mana that transcends the concepts of magical boundaries.
"The 'new body' is ready"
Cael cast a spell on his self, keeping his existence no matter what.
Then he transferred his self into the new body. Since, his soul, body and consciousness have already combined. It is easy to transfer into the new body.
His being unified with the Pure Mana, his perpetual infinite prana is overriden by Pure Mana. Turning all of it into Pure Mana
The pure mana then unified with Cael's existence, allowing him control over it and becoming it.
His 'self' still existed due to the spell but now, he can feel the supreme control over the Pure Mana since he is 'it' at the same time.
In other words, Cael once again upgraded his source from Ichor to Pure Mana. But this time, with many extra benefits, like he became pure Mana and became invincible.
"With my new 'Self', I'm sure even heroic spirits can't do anything since they are just magical constructs"
Cael's Pure Mana 'body' negates and accepts any and all Magical concepts and phenomenon according to his will.
He speculated that even Gods can't do anything but he still wants to stay cautious and did not plan to underestimate Gods.
After all, he's just invincible. His offensive might is not at a greater level compared to his defensive state.
Simply put, Out of 100. If Cael's Offense is around 60. His Defense is ∞.
After taking all the measures needed. He went back to his mansion main hall and summoned all the Homuncull.
"Tme to continue the initial plan. Beta, Gamma, Delta and lambda, I will be unsummoning you into reality"
"Yes, master" The 4 homunculi accepted the Order.
Since, he has Infinite Mana from now on.
He opened up his Eye of Enlightenment permanently observing all the past and present.
He projected an altered copy of his soul that he can control like a puppet into reality. Since, he's a threat to counter force, he can't go there directly.
To Reality, his projection is just 'another magus'.
