Unconscious, Liu Feng delved into the depths of his mind, surrendering to the lupine metamorphosis that dominated him. His body, controlled by wild instincts, rose from the blood-soaked dust, revealing the figure of a colossal werewolf. Black fur shimmered under the sunlight, even if it was just a small glint of light, and his sharp claws sparkled with unimaginable power.
The poor animal that had previously run over him looked in horror at the creature Liu Feng had become. Despite its heart being filled with terror, it had no time to retreat as the lethal claws of the werewolf lunged at it. With a quick and devastating strike, the creature tore the poor animal in half, spilling more blood onto the already soaked ground.
The fury of the werewolf still echoed in Liu Feng's clouded consciousness. Although his body was at the mercy of animal instincts, a tiny part of his mind seemed aware of what was happening. The sensation was strange, as if he were witnessing a scene from a dark dream, unable to control his actions.
The inner beast howled in triumph and sadistic pleasure, while the last vestiges of Liu Feng's humanity struggled to break free from the prison of his own mind. Chaos unfolded within him, an internal battle between man and beast, a struggle for his very identity.
Meanwhile, the werewolf continued its merciless revenge against the wild animals that had injured him moments before. With swift and precise movements, it annihilated each of the attackers with a ferocity that surpassed human comprehension. Its rage was so intense that the very air seemed to tremble under the pressure of its wrath.
As much as the transformation granted him superhuman strength, it also distanced him from his humanity. Liu Feng was trapped in a terrible limbo, a duality of beings vying for control of his existence. He saw himself as a mere spectator, observing the events as they unfolded.
With each passing moment, the werewolf's consciousness grew stronger, and Liu Feng's humanity faded even further. The struggle for supremacy reached its climax, and he knew that if he couldn't regain control, he would be lost forever in this bestial form.

Just the thought of being crushed again filled Liu Feng with unease. He looked at the running animals and knew he needed to get out of there. He noticed that Chen Tao, even though the scent of his friend was nearby, was nowhere to be seen.
"I hope you're okay," he thought of his friend, the only one he had. He hid in a large bush to recover his mana and, inside the bush, checked his status through the system.

Two of them began to walk around the area where Liu Feng had been ambushed by the animals. He tried to see what the skeleton soldiers were seeing. Those who approached the spot spotted several animals running.
"They are very strong; I don't know if I stand a chance against any of them. It would be good to become stronger because I have another concern," Liu Feng thought, agreeing with himself. Cultivators at a higher level can sense the cultivation level of those weaker than them. Liu Feng included himself in that category, being at the third level of refined Qi.

A little distance away from where Liu Feng was, the Elder of the Lotus Sect questioned a woman with a well-proportioned body and a visible neckline in her attire. Above her head were two enormous fox ears, each of a different color, and nine tails of various colors waved vigorously behind her.
"Mèng Jié, I didn't expect to find you here. I thought you had returned to your father's realm," the Elder of the Lotus Sect was surprised to see an old acquaintance. She hadn't expected to encounter this fox woman there.
"Zhang Mei... Can't you be here? I thought you were busy with your husband since you are one of his favorites," said Mèng Jié, showing she didn't like Zhang Mei very much for some reason.
"Are you still angry that he left you? I can't help it if he liked me more than you," the words of the Elder of the Lotus Sect made Mèng Jié's charming face turn cold. "But that's not why I'm here. Did you cause this mess? That roar came from you." Zhang Mei increased her pressure, ready to fight if Mèng Jié tried to harm the participants out of revenge.
"Yes, it was me who unleashed it. You don't need to get excited for a fight; I'm just looking for my daughter," said Mèng Jié. She had no plans to fight against her ex-husband's favorite; she had no desire to do so, despite her hatred for what he did to her and her little one.
"Uh... Yes, we have to find her! Let's go!" Zhang Mei felt awkward because she remembered that among the animals they needed to capture, there was a nine-element fox, which made her think that it might be the daughter of her husband's ex-wife.
Mèng Jié glanced curiously at the woman with purple hair and didn't understand why she felt awkward. She couldn't help but ask, "what happened? Did you forget to do your morning intimate duties today?"
