Chapter 24: Chapter 22 Ending of zombie wave and unexpected meeting
(Souichiro POV)
*Bang!*
"Fuck!"

I just got threatened by a little girl! I wanted to cut her two right there but I couldn't do it as my instincts were telling me not to do it. But I should be able to kill her with a number.
No wait, that's shameful of me to do like that. An adult man ganging on one little girl is a disgrace as a warrior! However, the pressure I felt from before is still lingering in my body.
I look at my still-shaking hands and remember the image of a monster in the shape of a little girl form.
*Sigh*
"Forget it" I walk toward the dojo and start to train kenjutsu.

(General POV)
Souichiro returned to his room from bath and he is drying his hair. He and his wife, Yuriko sleep in different bedroom because Yuriko don't want to skin touch with him.
'Really, why did I marry her? It's not like I'm lustful but husband and wife should sleep together at least. Ha! Why am I thinking like this today? It's just a contract after all.' Souichiro thought to himself.
The phone on the desk starts to ring and he picked up.
"Hello?"
"S-sir! Zombies are coming to the mansion!"
"Huh? How many?"
"I think there might be a few hundred!"
*Bang!* He slams the desk. He couldn't believe it. Even if there are zombies there is no way they would match here. Unless someone intentionally leads them here.
"What happens before they appear? Did you see someone?"
"Ah yes. There is a group of students with a teacher he should arrive there soon."
"… I understand. All of you retract back. We will close off the door."
"Yes sir!"
*Sigh*
"What an eventful day."
Souichiro walked out of his room called his subordinates and told them to block the entrance to buy time and prepare to leave the base as he know he couldn't kill that many zombies. They will die if they can't get out of here. He also went to find the so-called teacher-students group which might be leading the zombies here.
On his way, he saw two girls whom he still didn't know names. They don't introduce to him, or more like they couldn't as they were about to kill each other as soon as they saw after all.
"You two should prepare to leave here zombie are coming here."
He doesn't like Lucia because she has no respect for elders but dying from zombies with such skill is not a good thing. That's why he told them to leave safety from here. His daughter also seems to get along with a monster like her is also a good thing, especially in a world with dangers everywhere.
Even though he doesn't have romantic feelings for his wife, he still loves his daughter. It's just the love he shows to his daughter is quite different.
"I'm surprised that you told me about it. I thought you wanted to kill me?"
"Hmm! I'm not the petty man who wants to kill kids just because I'm still angry. I just don't like you because you don't respect for your seniors."
"Oh… Well, It can't help because you are too strict on your daughter and oppressing your own kid's decision. Luckily she is not too much coward as she still stands against you. If it were like other kids, she would always fear you the rest of her life and would only do what you told."
"You…"
Souichiro is about to say but Lucia cuts again before he can talk.
"About the zombie wave, you don't need to do anything. Me and my lover will solve it."
'Are they serious? I hope she is not crazy for thinking like that. It's a waste to become crazy with that kind of caliber in swordsmanship.' Souichiro thought to himself and walked behind them.
Lucia and Saeko walk away and head to the door. But when they reach the door, they see Rei pointing at Shido with a knife that is connected to a gun.
"A-are you going to commit murder? Do you want to become a criminal? Aren't you a daughter of a police?"
"I don't want to hear that from you!"
"Move aside, Rei," Lucia said as she got closer to them. Rei, Komuro, Kohta and the rest of the people who are watching them turn to look at her. Rei lowers her gun and steps back to Komuro. Shido was standing there and sighed in relief.
"Huu… I…" Shido continues to talk but Lucia shuts his words as she grabs his neck with her one hand. When Shido held back her hand, trying to break free, he found out her hand was cold as steel and hard to remove, it was as if he was trying to break free from a machine hand.
"Arg!! W-what are you doing?" the grab began to stronger. He doesn't even know why, the girl he doesn't even know is trying to kill him. He is kicking his feet trying to struggle just to breathe. His face becomes blue because of the lack of oxygen.
Tears drop from his eyes, mucus becomes to lack from his nose as he remembers his pathetic past and his wrongdoings to students. He is starting to regret it now. However, even if he apologizes now, the girl in front of him will not let him live. He starts to fear that he is going to die and pee himself. Lucia shows a disgusted expression and snaps his neck and kills him.
"Just die" Not long after that Shido died from breaking his neck. Everyone is looking at Lucia and is shocked, especially Rei. Lucia killed a person right in front of their eyes, she didn't even find a reason to attack and directly killed him. At that moment everyone surrounding them saw how scary Lucia was and saw how someone died pathetically, chilling airs passed through them and shaking in fear.
Even though Komuro and his group had seen her killing bad guys before the one Lucia killed just now is someone they have known and he died pathetically. So, they were feeling awkward. Even Rei now feels pity for Shido.
Souichiro also saw it but he only thought Lucia must have some kind of resentment with him. He doesn't mind about it as their world is already ended. Lucia throws the body of Shido to the side. Lucia turned and said to the three girls coming to them.
"Nice timing Shizuka, cast a spell on those students. They have been brainwashed by that dead guy." Shizuka nodded and cast a spell to break free of the brainwash. The students fell to the ground and started to recover. Dark circles under the students' eyes begin to disappear as well.
"Where have you been?" Souichiro asked Yuriko.
"I was chatting with my daughter and her friends," Yuriko said and Saya nodded.
"Hmm… Okay…" He senses something has changed with Yuriko, she now seems more relaxed than normally. He has a bad feeling but throw that thought away for now as they have a huge problem of the zombie wave.
The guards are about to stop Lucia but Souichiro stops them and tells them to throw away the body of Shido and he follows from behind Lucia to watch what she is talking about. Rei, Komuro and Kohta also follow behind them. Thousands of zombies are approaching and everyone from the mansion can see it.
"W-what is that?"

(General POV)
The ice wall begins to appear from the wall of the mansion. It reaches 50 feet high, preventing from zombies climbing from the walls. People saw unbelievable things like superpowers for the first time and were shocked.
"What the fuck?!" some people shouted in shock.
"We will enjoy the killing first, use that skill on my signal," Lucia said to Saeko and Saeko nodded while smiling happily.
"Okay"
Lucia took out Murasame and used 'Little War Horn' Her strength and speed increase while the poison curse from 'Little War Horn' is removed because of 'Ailment Resistance' and 'Regeneration' skills.
She rushes to the gate and starts to cut the zombies. She also used 'Heavenly Demonic Sword Art'. As soon as she used it the air around her became too heavy and released a deadly aura around her. Everyone is looking at the scene displayed in front of them with wide open mouths. Even Souichiro is making the same expression as well.
"Unbelievable… this is not the level normal human could reach…"
Lucia starts to cut the zombie after the zombie. Every slash is connected and cuts off all the heads of zombies that come close to the gate. If it were a normal human swords master they would have died long ago because of a massive number of zombies.
As she used 'Heavenly Demonic Sword Art' the slash began to spread air pressure and throw away some zombies whenever she slashed. Saeko couldn't hold back anymore and jumped in and joined to attack zombies.
"It's unfair you are having fun by yourself!"
"It's only been 10 seconds Saeko… but well I'm sorry."
"Apology accept!" They were chatting casually while killing zombies side by side. Lucia lowers her head and moves, she slashes through zombies as she circles Saeko. Saeko's long sword passes through the head of Lucia which is left behind by the afterimage because of her fast speed and cuts 5 heads of zombies.

Countless notifications are appearing and Lucia asked Rin to silence them. Their swords did not stop for a moment and let the sword flow naturally and cut the hands, legs, heads, and bodies of zombies.
The two Swordswomen display the perfect combination of sword techniques. Zombies couldn't approach near them much as if there was an invisible barrier between them. Guts and blood are all over the gate. The floor is already painted in red and bodies are overlaying.
"This is fun! Ahahahaha" Saeko is having fun and Lucia smiled as she saw Saeko smiling beautifully and happily. Other people who saw Saeko laughing madly and cutting zombies to pieces are sweating heavily.
*Glup*
'I hope I don't offend her before' and 'She is super scary!' are what they were thinking right now. After 30 minutes of battle, Lucia said to Saeko.
"It's time. Saeko, use it now."
"Oh… are we going to finish now? Okay, Lucia" Lucia moves from there and jumps back into the yard of the mansion. Saeko's aura suddenly rises up and rotates around as she cuts everything around her with her Long Katana also known as Rengoku.
The red line in the middle of pitch black sword is already shining brightly. She bends her knees slightly one in front and one behind, she places the back of the sword on the palm of her left hand while holding the sword handle with the other hand placed behind her head and positioned to stab.
She closed eyes and then suddenly opened and stabbed forward while shouting Skill's name.
"Zekken! Mukyuu Sandan!!"
… After 0.54234 seconds of silence, the dark-black laser beam is shot from the sword erasing every zombie in front of it and reaching 1000 meter distance.

Everyone's eyes and mouths are wide open as they see a super big black laser beam and it wipes out all zombies in front of them. Souichiro is face palming and thinks, 'Arg my head… They are showing shocking things one after another! Next what? Will they going to summon a giant robot or something?! Are they even human?'
Saeko is looking at the sight in front of her in satisfaction. There were no longer streets and buildings nor were zombies, only sands remained.
"Quite a sight, isn't it?" Lucia said as she came close to Saeko.
"Yeah…"
Lucia looked at the level and it showed she had reached 'Level 39 (85%)'.
'Tch! Why 39? Just give me a few more exp and reach 40 already!' Lucia thought to herself.
They were about to turn back and rest but Lucia noticed a person was hiding at the destroyed building. It wasn't he is fine from the laser shot earlier, he was lucky that he was not in the path of the laser beam.
"There seems to be some rat hiding there…" Lucia mummed and rushed there. Saeko also followed her as she also heard what Lucia mentioned. There are a few leftover zombies which were not killed but they could be killed by Souichiro's group.
They ignore them for now and find the person who is peeping them earlier. Moments later she found out who it was but when Lucia saw him she was shocked.
'What the… isn't it mutant zombie should not appear yet? It's not been a week since I get to this world and mutant ones are starting to appear. Wait… maybe zombies appeared in other continents and just reached Japan? If so they might already reach higher zombies?'
The zombie guy is about to run away but Lucia starts to attack him. She tried to cut his head off but he dodged it. She tried again but the results were the same.
'What the… he could dodge just like a trained martial artist?' Lucia didn't use any sword technique, she just slashed normally but the speed was fast enough to kill it.
'He seems to know how to perform marital art and also seems to gain some intelligence. Is it a higher zombie?'
"Hey, do you understand me?"
He didn't reply and started to run again.
"I will take care of him Lucia."
"Sure, sure. My little battle maniac."
"Heehee. Love you." Saeko said as she pecked Lucia's lips and ran after the mutant zombie. Lucia shook her head a few times and followed her.

(Mutant Zombie POV)
I don't remember who I am but I know I'm not human. I can't think more than that and I have a headache whenever I think more. I somehow wanted to eat human brains so I started hunting them and now I could think clearly. I tried to talk like humans but I couldn't speak. Maybe I need to eat more human brains.
Lately, I want to eat something from my kin's brains. I searched for some of their brains after I killed them but I couldn't find it. I kept searching and found some green-like small stones in the brain. It's sweet and tasty. I find more but there are no more. I don't understand why.
I saw a group of humans in the thing called a bus and the standing guy was making all kinds of poses. He seems shouting and crying all his might. He is doing it again and again how funny. I followed that funny human out of curiosity but I encountered strong humans. One of them even did a scary black thing. Luckily I stay away from them and hide.
But somehow one of them found me watching them secretly and attacking me. I have to escape here. I have a feeling that they are stronger than me.
One of them is talking to me but I don't understand. I should just run away as fast as I can. I run with all my might and not looking back at them.

(Saeko POV)
"Hey, you can't run away from us just stop already."
I cut his neck as I said while running after him but he still could dodge it just in time. I should just use 'Heavenly Demonic Sword Art'. I cut his legs with the sword art and this time he couldn't escape from it and fell to the ground.
"It seem he understand but couldn't talk," Lucia said from the side.
"It seems so." Judging from the expression he knows how to fear as well. Interesting…
"Let's just kill him," Lucia said and I killed him right away. Because of the level up from the later battle I'm feeling I could do anything now.
"Ohh… It's a mutant zombie… I thought it was a higher zombie. Hmm… made sense if it was a higher zombie It should be able to talk normally." Lucia is talking to herself again or is she talking with Rin?

"What the …" Lucia couldn't finish her sentence as dark space covered her vision. Moments later the pitch-black place began to disappear and she could see the grey color ruined buildings around her. Even though the place is ruined she could see the smooth floor and some destroyed buildings are also smooth as new other than destroyed parts.
"What a strange place… Rin, can you hear me?"
"…"
"Hmm… again, no response from Rin. Am I in a dream world again? No… I was dragged into the Abyss realm according to the system message."
Lucia looked around and walked, searching for a clue to return. The places where she couldn't see were painted in pitch black but when she got near, they vanished and could see clearly. It was like she reached unexplored areas on the map.
After walking for 5 minutes, she saw a person. The person she saw is sitting on the ruined pillar which is leaning on a destroyed building.
"No… way…"
Lucia was shocked when she saw the person who was sitting in Uta Hiza position but one leg was dropping from the pillar. One hand is resting on the knee which is standing and the other hand is supporting her body by placing it on her back.
(A/N: I'm sorry. I don't know how to write details about sitting positions. If you don't understand it you can search for Uta Hiza sitting position on Google.)
Her silver-white hairs are swinging beautifully in the air. She is emitting a noble and powerful aura around her. Lucia couldn't see her one eye as it was covered with hair. She wears a dark red jacket and black inner clothes. She doesn't wear any skirts or pants. Her metallic sword sheath is floating behind her. She also has red and black color two machine-like horns beside her head.
(A/N: She wears a black pantie okay? Don't overthink! LOL)
That's right she is the original Lucia also known as 'Alpha' in the game. Alpha turns her head slowly and looks at Lucia with her red eye which is not covered by hair.
"So, you have arrived…" is what Alpha said.
