Chapter 2: Chapter 1: The Fateful Passage

Miguel stood in front of his eager students, their young faces illuminated by the soft glow of the classroom. He was passionate about history, believing it to be the gateway to understanding the complexities of the world. As he delved into the lessons of the past, his words animated the tales of heroes and revolutions, inspiring his students to embrace their own roles in shaping the future.

It was just another ordinary day, or so it seemed. Miguel, a dedicated and charismatic teacher, had no inkling of the events that would forever alter his destiny. As he spoke about the turbulent history of Mindanao, his voice resonated with conviction, conveying the struggles and triumphs of the people in the region.

I stood before my students, my heart alight with enthusiasm for the stories I shared. Teaching history was my passion, and I believed that understanding our past would guide us towards a better future. As I delved into the complexities of Mindanao's history, I saw the spark of interest in my students' eyes, their curiosity ignited.

I fell to the ground, my strength waning, knowing that my journey in this life had been abruptly cut short.

In those fleeting moments, as life ebbed away, memories of a past existence flashed before my eyes. The weight of the name Ferdinand Marcos settled upon me, an unfamiliar burden that I had no choice but to carry. In the depths of despair, a cosmic force enveloped my soul, gently guiding me towards the next chapter of my existence.
