Chapter 2: A Day In Daisy’s Life
The chirrupings of birds near the window was soothing . Daisy immediately woke up as the chirrup of birds was her natural and favourite alarm . Her morning routine consisted of waking up by birds , having a cup of coffee , writing her journal , doing skincare and making food for herself which was her favourite part of the day .
As soon as she woke up , she took a bath and got ready for attending her class of philosophy . She made pancakes for herself today because friday is her cheat day and she can finally have sugar stuff. After a while she decides to call dolly to pick her up from her apartment as she was already late for the class and couldn't manage to take a cab.
"hey dolly polly can you please pick me up from my place? , im already late" daisy asks.
"do you think i'll ever say no to you?" Dolly asks.
" okay then hurry up!!!!" Daisy replies .
Dolly has always been daisy's biggest supporter . Dolly lived in los angeles with her mom since childhood . Daisy and dolly's family had great connections so they were less worried for daisy as she shifted to a new city because they knew that dolly and her mom would surely take care of her
"ughh you're always late doofus" dolly says to daisy as she picks her up from her apartment . "sometimes its okay to be late, chill!!" Daisy replies . " anyways , what did you had today for breakfast ?" Dolly asks. "um pancakes" daisy replies .
"its really very mean of you that you didn't brought them for me. May god never give anyone a friend like you" dolly teases daisy.
"calm down miss dolly , i knew you would say this so i already brought some for you; but no actually i'm a mean friend so now you wont get pancakes" daisy replies.
"aw my soul sister im so sorry , could you please forgive me and give me my pancakes?" Dolly asks and giggles.
"fine" daisy laughs hardly .
After a while they reach there university and rush towards philosophy class . Daisy liked studying philosohpy but literature has always been her favourite subject . Being a good student she always attends each and every class of her's which is why every teacher adored her ; because of her excellent academic validation and regularity .
"daisy what are your views on kindness?" Miss anna asks . She thinks for a while and immediately speaks "mam i believe that kindness is something which every human should apply in there respective lives because we never know what the other person or the person we're talking with is facing . And i personally believe that it just takes less than a minute to be kind."
The whole class as well as the teacher gets amazed of her answer . "please give a huge round of applause for daisy ; everyone!!" Miss anna says. "thank you so much" daisy smiles. When the class got over everybody was praising and talking about daisy's answer . " you gave a great answer honey! It was literally expected from you" dolly says . "thanks dolly polly" daisy replies .
"coffee?" Dolly asks
"you think i would say no? Lol" daisy replies.
Soon daisy and dolly head to "the coffee obsessed café" . After reaching there , they sit on daisy's favourite seat at the corner . Even the waiter over there knew that daisy always takes espresso . So he just smiled and turned towards dolly , "what would you like mam?" . " a cold coffee with ice cream" dolly replies .
" oh how come i forget to tell you that tomorrow my dad is returning from rome and also it's my mom and dad's wedding anniversary ; so we've kept a get together at our place on this friday and you know its already wednesday ; i'm so excited !! So you and your family are our special guest . So be there sharply at 6 pm on friday " dolly says excitedly
" aw congrats dolly and its alright i know you must be busy in the prepreations with your mama." Daisy says . " and i will let my mom know about the party.
" oh don't worry my mom must've called your mom" dolly asks
" ya how come i forget that they're more best friends than us hahah" daisy replies.
They both talked and giggled . Daisy was too excited as she liked being with dolly's family and also she was going to meet her parents after a long time . Even they planned to shop outfit for both of them and also it is the most important get together for dolly as well as daisy .
"so from where we're going to buy the outfit?" Dolly asks . " i think the nearby store?" Daisy replies. "great choice" dolly says.
After a while they reached the store for shopping . Daisy's eyes were overwhelmed to see such elegant dresses in front of her. " i think it'll take a lot of time for us to shop something today lol ; just got an intution after looking upto such dresses!!" Dolly says with her eyes wide open.
" so lets start with the dress first and then other things" daisy says .
Dolly buys a beautiful pink shimmer fluffy gown for her . It had work of white pearls and decent straps were there on the top . "it's giving a very peaceful look dolly , you look gorgeous!" Daisy says . " yeah i know , thanks to you for choosing a dress like this" dolly says . Further daisy smiles.
Now it was daisy's turn to buy . She searched a lot and finally bought something of her choice. It was a black backless bodycon dress. It gave elegant look because of the silver lining on the neckline. She also bought black heels and silver jwellery. Her happiness was at cloud nine.
" see you tomorrow" dolly says .
" oh by the way i will not come to the class tomorrow as i have to attend "diva ford's" book release webinar" daisy replies with a smile.
"oh wow , have a great time there . Will surely miss you tomorrow" dolly replies
" haha will see you straightly at the party now"
" okay daisy . Good night" dolly says .
